Hi there, my friends and I are playing on the latest version of Medieval MMC4 (1.20.1 v30) and we seem to have come across a problem related to the Passive Skill Tree mod. One of us is going down the Alchemist branch of the mod and put a skill point in Persistent Toxin.

They crafted a vanilla diamond sword and tried to combine it in a vanilla workbench with a potion of instant damage. Nothing happened. They tried a potion of poison and same thing, nothing happened.

They then went into creative on a single player world, put skill points into the same branch and skills they had on the multiplayer server and still nothing when they tried to combine in a workbench.

If anyone has a fix for this problem, please feel free to reply to this message. Thanks!

From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:

Just got the modpack and a server up and running through Bisect hosting (Used the coupon code and all, thanks by the way for that)

So, we're using the latest addition I believe, Medieval MC Fabric 1.21.1, using 9 gig of ram and I'm coming into.. a very.. strange issue

I picked Revenant class as it seemed pretty cool, went to use the ability H to summon skeletons and not only did it crash me but the entire server. Was getting the getsockopt error not for just me but the entire server.

Was able to replicate the error every time the server came back up by just using the skeleton again.

I'm unsure if this is a new issue and I apologize if I'm speaking in the incorrect channel

So, had a friend try it out on his own end with his own personal server and it look like it broke for him as well, so it does seem like it may be an overall issue with that class

We ended up switching to Forge where the issue doesnt seem to happen now but we super appreciate the response. 😭 I feel bad making you go through all the trouble, we LITERALLY just tested it and moved it. I can see if I can have him try this though just to confirm if it works

I can't take the necklace out of the slot, because the second I click it I crash. I also crafted a new agglomeration, but when I combined two things in the crafting menu with it, the game crashes when I try to finish the recipe by clicking the completed agglomeration.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

What steps cause the crash? Im guessing something with Cyclops, and his interactions with sheep???. Thats what I kina figured out from crash-reports. I might be wrong tho. Almost all crashes were somewhere near him, or if someone died near him (tho this might be a coincidence). Most crash reports say "Ticking entity".

That happening with the sheep is new to me. I’ll take a look at this and get back to you as soon as I am able. Just a heads up, though: I’m in the midst of a family emergency, so my ability to respond may be delayed

Might be something connected with a situation when the summoner (player or another entity) is removed, unloaded, or deleted improperly, the entity trying to follow it may crash the game... This can happen when a player logs off, moves to a different dimension, or if the summoner despawns, which would fit our error.

The mod may not properly check if the summoner exists before calling .getPos(), causing the error. If the entity (e.g., EnchantedGrassGreenSheepEntity) has a missing or wrong summoner reference, it could also cause the crash.
