Got a question about Medieval MC mod pack. I can't figure out how to fill my thirst meter. I can stop myself from dying by standing in a block of water, and I figured out how to drink (crouch + right click on water) but I can't drink fast enough to actually get my water bar to fill. Did I do something wrong in MMC1? I started as Fae and I put on the wizard gear and the novice wand from the tutorial, made some fire runes, and put 10 points in fire, but I can't kill anything with the fireballs from the wand. They take damage but I can kill a level 3 spider in 4 hits with my sword, it didn't die after 5 fireballs

Hello, my friend has a problem getting the modpack. He tried downloading it few times already and it would always get stuck on the same music mod until timeout. He reinstalled curse forge, but it didn't help. Anyone knows what to do?

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

This is going to sound very random, but... Anyone has any idea what would cause the outer layer of skins to be invisible? When in a solo world it works just fine, but I just added the modpack to a server and I must have broken something.

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

that would depend on your build and even then there's no real best sword

because all of the unique simply swords, the named ones from that mod, are all really good

and then when you factor in the zenith gems you can add, the affixes from zenith, and the enchantment known as void strike, it hardly matters

and then magic would go a different route and use the spellblades from spellblades and such mod

and then moon elf would probably go dagger, imo runic daggers for most, however can try soulstealer if doing moon elf rogue build but most will have to get used to how that particular weapon works

Is it a known issue or is there a fix for textures "lagging" after breaking them or after closing/opening a door?
I have been having this issue a lot and I can't tell why... Everything else seems to work perfectly, I can drop items normally, open chests, even entity AI works well. The only thing that "lags" is the texture of for example a torch that has been broken recently or a door that has been opened.
Does anyone know what may cause that?
Since entities work fine I would doubt it's TPS but I may be wrong

This is the general guide I know, but I take it there is no known issue for the texture/blockstate not changing.
The guide says many things won't work on curseforge, so that means using curseforge is basically useless? I feel like I am missing something here

If you were running into level 92 mobs at spawn, that means you were in or near a difficult structure that has extremely valuable loot

I installed the modpack via ATLauncher fresh and spark wasn't installed but that's absolutely fine.

I had a suspicion about the additional Java Parameters so I reset them back to default.
The constant freezing of the game was resolved this way, but the initial "issue" of slow blockstate updates still persists occasionally on the new instance too.

On top of that, the new instance of the game, for some reason, changes the color of the sky to a darker tint when standing on wood materials.
Edit: Sky Colors were disabled in the other instance so the last point is fixed. Arrived at 0 again
