Will say that exploring for loot is good due to dungeon difficulty. That mod overrites tieredz and also will give items with better stats so no need to worry about reforging.

Really? My village must be that black thing way up in the sky as well. Otherwise I just had a light house for mine. And on my first attempt (with a thirst mechanic that I was not use to) spawned me in a desert... no Village in sight, perhaps it was underground? Regardless I deleted the save and started over.

less common i think and they use an Ire stat now that tells you how mad they are

less common, trader shows up first, you can trade with them to ward off hexblade spawns, you can kill to start the invasion, they drop effigies now which can spawn Magus boss, beat Magus and get one-two of the Primordial Robes and also a thing that can be used to stop the spawns as long as you are holding it or set down like a block to stop spawns within a 64 block radius. Can get stronger Primordial Robes with a stronger Magus in other dimensions. The End is best Primordial Robes.
I love Primordial Robes for elementalist style wizard and they are truly best for AoE setups for mobbing in magic.

As you gain xp in one chunk, that chunk's xp will have less of a chance to spawn meaning you will start getting less and less xp the more and more you try to gain xp out of it. So, farming xp in one chunk doesn't work. During testing, I noticed that chunks take a while to regain xp when using soul devourer because that enchant multiplies xp gain. Problem is though, xp gain can be slow without it. Charm of Knowledge II is bugged to where xp will not regain in the same chunk. I personally believe it is worth to use that setup though because killing Conjunctivitus in minecells is worth about 200+ xp levels. With Pride contract trade from Bewitchment mod, you get around 500+ with full setup.
Of course, tomes are available now and playerex is now capped at 200 points so arguable that this might not be necessary and could maybe toy with using xp farms without soul devourer and charm of knowledge II.

Well, it disabled it due to balance reasons, as this modpack focuses on exploration. But you can go into playerex config and change the 95 to 100

Chooses dwarf as starter race, proceeds to die and spawn in repeatidly for a good 10 minutes while trying to find some sort of shelter.
I'm semi surprised the dwarf race doesn't start with a nearly broken golden helmet of some kind to atleast give you the small chance to live your first day instead of just dyding repeatedly until night time.

world gen has always been somewhat of an issue in minecraft, but you'd be surprised with buried treasure chests. People (myself included) miss them all the time when digging because we underestimate how large of an area it could be in.
Yea, I get that... and there is a "cheaty" way of locating them on f3 screen... I'm wondering if that particular bit was changed or not cause as it stands, the 9, X, 9 relative block coordinates didn't work for this chest. 🤔
well, it wasn't changed, it's just that normal minecraft world gen got in the way, which can and will happen

then there's the mjolnir + parachute combo, not exactly flying but good mobility

traveler's backpacks can go in there but don't recommend it because you won't get the ability and aren't designed to be worn that way, but you can wear the Parachute from Paradise Lost mod

so, if looking for optimal (best), there are really only 3 stats that matter. Pins has optimal gear for melee and ranged. That necklace would be very good for ranged build. If it were melee crit damage instead, it would be good for melee build. Other stats on it don't matter and won't hurt it.

I think that was one of the nerfs. The other thing is playerex nerf with exponential negation factor for xp. Conjurer does not work for making xp farms.

you can get lots of shards by amethyst block on cutting board and then pickaxe it, 4 shards per block, you can also make occultist villager and trade for full amethyst clusters

basically how it works is armor is your primary reduction, but less effective against more damaging hits
toughness makes your armor more effective longer

So on this (@leaden fractal), it actually is a multiplier, and I believe .5 should be +50%, it’s just a little goofy looking because of dungeon difficulty not yet allowing new +% bonuses. this is why I didn’t add things like crit chance or crit damage weapons or movement speed boots yet, because that be even more confusing as a flat+
Okay so I was checking and I was doing a little bit of a misconception about armor above 20 not being effective 
the equation is just very confusing but armor does work above that point although massive hits are still pretty massive without good toughness

@pulsar falcon Marium's Soulslike has a conflicting keybind with the Pings. the 'R' key doesnt ping a location, instead it tries to return a Freyr sword to the owner, which doesnt work if you dont have one and just displays a message each time

Yes, and then with the 120, I spawned in another 120 with spell power and it seems to work the same. Same stacking. I spawned a wizardex and it doesn't read on its own, but read when wearing the natural 120 I got as well as the spell power 120 I spawned in when checking things

The wizardex one only reads when I have a naturally found one/spell power one. The wizardex one and the 120 then made I think 615

I feel Discord should roll out a NSFW emote permission whatever , So if you have a NSFW role or channel only certain emotes would show up.
How would this work cross servers though when emotes are global if you have nitro?

I think that would actually make sense. There seems to be some sort of combo type thing for them to work fully/be a proper relic.

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!
Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.
Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)
You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.
IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

elf doesn't get nightvision even though it says sees better in dark forests, Feline doesn't get nightvision that I'm aware of

Yes, I tested this, I didn't notice a difference ever with "darkvision"

Are there any plans to update to a better music mod that plays music more often instead of music playing and then cutting out for a prolonged period, then abruptly starting again? If not, at least the devs could fork a new version of the Medieval Music mod to make that small change? Also, the MM mod doesn't seem to have any configs which is a yikes...
my only complaints with the music is how much louder it is than default minecraft music

the music does def cut out for long periods, I just wind up turning it down to where its barely audiable these days though

This is a pic of the same location. First one is elf and second one is as human. This is on modpack v 18.5. On modpack v 19 both human and elf look like the second picture. Not sure if this is the right channel to post this. Not sure if it's a bug or something I'm doing wrong. (I use curseforge)

other devs are free to fork it, get permission from the original dev to upload it and we can use that fork instead
