Oh another question, is it more efficient to silk touch and smelt ores in the alloy smelter or to use fortune on something like a mythril drill?
Now, THAT, is a good question. I would ultimately say it depends. I think in most cases though, fortune wins out, especially with the carmot upgrade

I'd say with ores that drop raw ore fortune then alloy smelter, since the alloy smelter can 1.5x raw ores
Might end up testing that in a singleplayer just comparing the two
so roughly like 4x total with good fortune rolls
or if you do that one ilmango thing that maxes fortune luck but I remember that being a pain and probably not worth it

how do I craft Kitchen Knives? When I try to craft them it automatically sets it to the Medieval Weapon's Dagger, instead of the Farmer's Delight Knife.
Additionally when I try to rely on the auto put in ingredients button it still tries to create the Medieval Weapon Dagger.
I think some will and some won't. There's not a medieval dagger for every kitchen knife.

Great! So the server works on my side, I can join with localhost and play. My port is also properly forwarded as I tested on vanilla. Nobody else can join the medieval mc server though

Is the flamming spellblade the worst one among those three
for anything resistant/immune to fire sure
I barely see some damage also it is so damn hard to get the damage to the mob
well, you can level intelligence, but the real damage is in Spell Crit Damage relics
I am in the normal world fight with zombie
I tried the arcane one, it takes way more damage also easier to aim
As well as enchants, specific ones because wizards and spellblades use different enchants
I have not enchanted any of those, i just spend xp to get the spell casting ability

using chunkbase site to find one, went to the coords, there's nothing there
that's because this modpack has a lot of modded biomes and such, so while it doesn't change the ancient city spawning, there's many other changes, and chunkbase simply won't work for something like this
I think the ancient city is pretty easy to find one

usually just go to a high mountain and get to the right y coordiante

in today's episode of "nobody asked" reviews, the lost castle is a really fun design and matches the MMC aesthetic very well, but i had such a poor loot experience that i am sad about it

I guess I could leave crit damage relics, that’s pretty harmless
that’s probably what I’ll do, have new relics generate with the proper crit chance and crit damage stats, disable old crit chance relics, leave old crit damage relics working
Hmm, now this may sound crazy, but when speaking on balance, wizards and spellblades don't get access to a lot of enchants. Like a lot of them. No void, no radiance, no soul devourer, none of the lesser but still good ones like echo, thundering, not even sharpness. Would being able to obtain 100% crit chance be a good trade-off? I mean, as a melee you hit almost all crits anyway.
we could go even further beyond and give crit chance above 100% for double or even triple crits

- Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

- Consider installing the JRE instead of the JDK for a smaller file size

When installing through adoptium, make sure that Add to PATH and Set JAVA_HOME variable are both set to be installed (please see https://imgur.com/a/jPu1h7h for how that would look)

Check if java has been correctly installed by running java --version (or java -version on older versions), and seeing if the output is correct (see https://imgur.com/a/OWcoq4p for an example of the output)
- NOTE: 64 bit versions of java ALWAYS have '64-bit Server VM' in the version output. If that is not there, you have installed a 32-BIT version!! If you're getting Out of Memory errors or any other errors, PLEASE install 64-bit
- If the output isn't as intended, you have 2 options.
i) Delete ALL other java versions from your PC (ONLY recommended if you don't need them)
ii) Redirect your launcher/server to use your new installation of Java
Method i
- Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
- Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)
Method ii
- For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
- For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

It would be nice if you could use them before you had good relics, cause the stat boosts are nice but it means affixing relics to armor you like ruins the armor if you affix poorly

I mean unless the armor in the end drops with like +20 toughness its overkill compared to just good crafted armor because armor itself is bounded
you might want to make crit damage diminishing if possible (although there's still the enchant argument, no void strike and such), all I have are the arcane robes which are 10% crit damage per piece, Amplify Spell V, 280 crit ring, 150 crit ring, 90 crit necklace, and 230 crit chest attached to arcane robe.

crit damage is diminishing, though it’s just using the default behavior of playerex to cap at 1000, but then other sources add crit damage on top of that
It might make sense to increase the diminishing factor for spell power crit stats since there are other crit sources, but I don’t think it’s a huge balance issue

I have a question about spawns of goblin traders because it seems like my siren's undeground farm I'm building is mass spawning them and...uh....do the mega torches stop this because the only thing i can think of is in the chunk im in there are NO DRAINED CAVES. thus the mob cap is being satisfied by whatever is on the surface + squid.
like at this point our tiny server is calling it the Goblin Trader Farm...
they're passive mobs anyway so

You can keep them in cages in a chest to reduce lag if you wanna keep them around for the trades

The new integraded stronghold mod from IDAS developer is crashing the pack it seems
that's not a mod in the modpack
The stronghold looks 100x better then the one from yung, so I wanted to change it
but it seems that it is in conflict with Bclib/BetterX

Hello! For us to properly help you with your issue, you will need to answer all 8 questions below. Post the answers in this channel:
1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? If so, what did you do? (Updating/adding/removing mods, changing configs)
2. What launcher, or program, are you using to launch the game? (CurseForge, ATLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. What steps are necessary to reproduce the crash? (Launching the game, exploring the world, etc)
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Send the crash report file into this channel. Right click the modpack, Open Folder, and navigate to the Crash Reports folder. Drag the newest one here. If there is no crash reports folder, do the same thing with the latest.log file in the logs folder.
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq?

Well I am trying to see if it is just because I deleted Better stronghold. If that is not the problem I am kinda stuck
Maybe it is an issue with BClib not registering certain biomes, but that seems far sought, since yeah a stronghold is no biome

Deleting Better Strongholds shouldn't matter most of the time since it's not a dependancy and is not related to Bclib or BetterX mods at all
