You get a permanent elytra with infinite rocket boost, with a certain Y limit from the nearest ground (think it is about 60 blocks up you can fly). Flight speed is decreased based on armour points your armour has. Carnivore, so can east only meat, and slughtly less starting health (7hearts compared to 10)

could anyone point me to or explain exactly how reforging, dungeon difficulty, and artifacts work and interract together? I get how they all act seperately, but theres all these idiosyncrasies to them that has me a bit confused. Like if I reforged a spellblade armor it would lose the +25% to damage type in its description, but testing it out that damage boost still remains. Or that smithing a relic with + or - durability onto an existing armor piece should not affect the durability (I think)

so dungeon difficulty is generally the best you will get, you can't reforge dungeon difficulty as the stats won't change, dungeon difficulty takes priority, with relics, you currently cannot put chest relics and helm relics into dungeon difficulty armors, so makes it pretty simple right now, just loot dungeons

reforging crafted armor sometimes will not show all stats/stats appear to go away visually in the tooltip however they are still there

same with relics

relics that have tieredz stats will not transfer the tieredz stats onto an item, but will transfer their relicex stats

so DD is mutually exclusive with everything, but if you craft something you can both reforge it and shove a relic on it (assuming helm or chest) to try and make up the difference. Relics when smithed will not transfer durability, or... honstly I'm not sure what other stats belong to tieredZ and not relicex. Maybe armor toughness?

So, there's this mod called dungeon difficulty that's been added recently. It makes dungeons more difficult in other dimensions and further distances from overworld spawn. But, the loot also has special stats that can't be obtained or crafted anywhere else. I quickly figured out that this just so also happens to be the best loot obtainable because the stats are just too good. The very basic progression goes Minecells at Overworld spawn, Overworld 3K+ blocks away from spawn, Minecells 3K+ blocks away, Nether/Twilight Forest, End Cities, and Obsidilith boss for the scaling loot.

The best gear is listed in pins already, not including Wizards and Spellblade as those are brand new mods and changes will still be happening with them.

I've noticed something odd with the Wizards config and I just want to know if its been altered in some way for balancing?
I've felt that I was doing really lack luster damage and I was trying to do the math so sorry if this is much but I'd really appreciate some cause or reasoning.

So I have the Ruby fire staff that gives +6 to fire damage. I have 15 points in int that by math should give a +3.75 to spell attack power. The base damage of fireball in the Wizards Wiki is 3.6. - If how I think the math is calculated is correct, that should be a 13.35 base damage fireball? I thought that would be it but then I realized I put a Spell Power IV enchant on the staff and yet still with all of this, the read out on the staff says 10.8 base damage.

Is this intended? If it is that's fine, but I'd hate to learn that some mods overwriting Wizards are causing an unintentional nerf to magic damage. If you think I'm calculating the damage wrong as well, please let me know!

Spells have zero base damage currently.
There is no Wizards wiki, so I don’t know what you could have read 🙂

This is just a poorly written guide - the “damage range” of those spells they give is just what the spell damage is when using a particular staff with no other bonuses (and it doesn’t even seem right as a novice wand only has 2 spell power).

There’s no base damage for spells, it’s a fixed multiplier. For example a fire spell may have a damage coefficient of 0.8, that means it will deal 80% of your total fire spell power from all sources, including the weapon, int stat, relics, and robes. If you have 10 fire spell power, it’ll deal 8 damage, not including critical strikes

Yeah, my personal feelings on the guide, and not trying to be mean, but they put in a lot of time making it look nice and formatted nicely. But the substance is very poor, there's virtually none as all of that you can read in-game.

I thought it would give me a + bonus to fire damage and it mentioned that it would give some armor. I assumed the lack of armor was just due to the PlayerEX system for distributing item rarity of stats but the bonus to spell power I assumed would have stayed? You get no base anything with regular robes and just gotta get lucky on getting/finding armor that can do basically everything an enchanted Wizard robe set can but but has base armor value on top of.

Ah, looking through the config I see what the robes are supposed to give (they don't yet due to incompatibility but still, really nice to know). Arcane gives crit damage, Fire gives crit chance, and Ice gives spell haste (faster casting).
