kind of the problem with minecrafts design and why theres so many “optimization” mods

fundamentally minecraft wastes ram each tick

so thats like, 20 ticks per second

each second wastes a lot of memory

it adds up fast

you can see it in action by pressing F3 and watching your memory in the top right fill up

it will always approach the max, then drop down because java tries to free up all the wasted memory every so often

hence the jvm flags we always recommend, those help with that

either way, minecraft eats ram

give it 4GB or 400GB

eventually youll see it max out somewhere at the top

Zenith comes with a mod called porting lib
makes it easier to port between forge & fabric
Twilight Forest also comes with porting lib but they have an older version
so, until twilight forest updates their porting lib version, i cant update to the newer version of zenith
the newer version of Zenith includes a fix for this. its a bug w/ the zenith mod

You didn't read the correct section, there is 4 types of wands for each of the four elements, any spells you learned have to use the corresponding wand of the correct element, you can use REI (Roughly enough items) to find out what element the spell is that you learned.

Earlier I encountered a level 91 baby zombie with full armor and that was the worst experience in my life

it kinda feels like that making high end weapons only able to be found via looting greatly neuters the entire crafting experience. why bother crafting anything if nothing you craft will ever top the stuff you loot? it makes mining and crafting comparatively useless.

it just seems like that system is an attempt to turn minecraft into something resembling diablo, but because it's minecraft it does a bad job. it makes for a worse minecraft experience and a not so great diablo approximation.

1. Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

• Java 11 (https://adoptium.net/temurin/releases/?version=11) for versions 1.16.5 and below (can also use 8 if its not working)

• Consider installing the JRE instead of the JDK for a smaller file size

2. When installing through adoptium, make sure that Add to PATH and Set JAVA_HOME variable are both set to be installed (please see https://imgur.com/a/jPu1h7h for how that would look)

3. Check if java has been correctly installed by running java --version (or java -version on older versions), and seeing if the output is correct (see https://imgur.com/a/OWcoq4p for an example of the output)

• NOTE: 64 bit versions of java ALWAYS have '64-bit Server VM' in the version output. If that is not there, you have installed a 32-BIT version!! If you're getting Out of Memory errors or any other errors, PLEASE install 64-bit

1. Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
2. Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)

1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

For anyone having the chest crash bug thing you can just work around it by changing max-tick-time to -1 in server.properties
