Pins for optimal gear have had a tiny update as some new discoveries have been made. I was wrong on Star Plat before, I apologize. It appears as if the damage bonus goes away with certain tiers because it no longer shows up on the stats, but that is not the case. You still get the extra 0.5 attack damage per piece on Star Plat.
Another thing as well, pretty sure I just figured out what caused the stats on the MC Dungeons Armors to go away. At least I know the mod responsible and the update. Had this theory for a while, just needed to get some time to test it.
As soon as the affix of relics update was brought in from relicex, the mc dungeons armors stats went away (extra attk speed, damage, movement speed, etc.). So it was the affix update that did it for some reason.
When I disable relicex, the stats come back.

really? I wasn't removing armor or anything, but on a test run of the modpack I was refilling 4 ice carriers constantly and still not dropping in temperature. And I don't know what's up with the dehydration mod, but the page says you should be able to purify water in the furnace and no combination of water bucket/water bottle/water flask or furnace type that I tried actually did anything. The campfire cauldron worked, but I couldn't empty out my flask to refill it with purified water unless I drank all the dirty water first.
It was altogether just an awful experience

The pin just mentions using the campfire cauldron which I did say worked, but the furnace boiling did not, which the pin does not mention. And I don't think it's fair to say that it's fine as long you put some strong enchants on it when I'm spawning in the middle of the desert.
Regardless, I do not like them and was just asking if there would be any stability issues to me removing them, or would I have to edit the config to make them irrelevant and keep the UI elements?

I would not look for a cave underground actually. I know, seems counterintuitive. However, I find enough deepslate caves when exploring the overworld as either a large crater, ravine, or general crack in the earth will lead to a deepslate cave 99% of the time.
Deepslate is also a vanilla thing. It starts coming in gradually, replacing stone, at y=8 to y=0 and then it's all down below y=0

metallurgium, thing about the origins is, their bonuses and their cons in terms of tools/weapons are only affected on vanilla stuff
So, as a Paladin, it doesn't matter as you won't get a bonus on modded weapons and you won't get the debuff on modded weapons.

Rageblades are fun because with sweeping edge III, you get haste VII as soon as you kill a mob

well, the glass swords for right now are the best but honestly hard to get because you can't reforge those so you have to get lucky and find decent/good ones

So you can mix n match when dual wielding which is really nice. I'm probably going to be finding a very good mix n match combo soon when the modpack updates next.

That's my default as well, but I wasn't sure if normal was tuned to be like hard vanilla, and hard was like darksouls difficulty or something

if they are using dream warp spell and get the white color error then the answer is in #faq, if that is not the error they are getting though then it is something else and some kind of crash report or log will be needed in order to help

Just an fyi, my friend died and when respawning, he got the same white color error that I did from the dream warp spell. We fixed the issue by having someone walk near the spawn of the other player
