bosses of mass destruction are late game bosses for vanilla minecraft. nearly godlike even. In this pack, if you get orichalcum gear and prot 20 (two prot VIII and 1 prot IV) you should be able to handle it.

so long as your armour holds up and you deal enough dmg

bare minimum gear is diamond prot IV unbreaking III gear with a sharp 5 diamond sword basically. anything higher than that can make the fight easier/faster. mind you, prot 20 gives max dmg reduction even in leather armour. so that's why we emphasize prot 20 so heavily in areas like the pins

I did The Returning Knight while playing Archer on a test world in full Prot IV diamond along with unbreaking and mending and two diamond swords with unbreaking and mending, pumped up str to 35 with 50 luck and 15 dex, and yeah still got wrecked many times. Had to learn to switch to arcanus wand and lunge quickly.

Hey, I'm having some trouble with the GDlauncher. It's telling me that some of the mods in the Medieval MC Fabric modpack can't be downloaded by the launcher. So it's trying to download them from cursedforge but is now glitching out. Is there a faq for the launcher?

all modpacks are optimized and these launchers are far better than curse because curse has the bloatware known as overwolf

overwolf has to run in the background when using curse

as such, RAM is taken up for no reason at all

Hence the term bloatware

it's a bit slow but it comes with an enchantment built in that transfers overkill damage to a nearby enemy

with other enchantments and some points in Dex to speed it up, it's pretty good

not an amazing one-hit killer or anything but I like it

and the Soulslike weapons are good too, very visually impressive to boot as well

I learned the Hunter Cannon kinda needs ranged-related skills to be increased to be good at higher levels though which is unfortunate

1. Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

• Java 11 for versions 1.16.5 and below (can also use 8 if its not working)
• Java 18 for any versions newer (or 17 if 18 doesn't work)
• Consider installing the JRE instead of the JDK for a smaller file size

2. When installing through adoptium, make sure that Add to PATH and Set JAVA_HOME variable are both set to be installed (please see https://imgur.com/a/jPu1h7h for how that would look)

3. Check if java has been correctly installed by running java --version (or java -version on older versions), and seeing if the output is correct (see https://imgur.com/a/OWcoq4p for an example of the output)

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

i'm having an issue where i'm still suffering from overheating in the nether, even after following the pinned message. idk if being an ogre has anything to do with it but other than that, I am wearing no armor and i have an ice pack that is enchanted with a hardening catalyst and yet i can barely stay in the nether for 3-5 minutes before i'm taking damage from the heat

is there something else i'm missing?

you should be fine as long as you aren't in a quartz desert tbh

and the ice pack should be at least in your inventory

Hello! To better diagnose your issue, please answer ALL of the following questions:

1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? (Adding/removing mods, changing configs, anything in the Resourcepacks menu)
2. What launcher are you using? (CurseForge, GDLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. When does the crash happen?
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Does a crash report generate? If so, send the file here. If not, is there an exit code? (On CurseForge, right click the instance, Open Folder, and go to the crash reports folder. Alternatively, post the log's text on mclo.gs and send the link here.)
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq!
9. To reiterate #1. did you install install the Modpack through a launcher or did you download the Server Pack or use the Server Files as the Modpack?
10. To reiterate #2. did you use a cracked launcher like TLauncher?

Please attach your latest.log file to your message as well. This can be found in the logs folder.

when im holding a wolf or in creative mode, there's no fog, but when im on survival without holding a doggo there's fog even if i did my best in video setting to desativate it.. does the mod have a different way to desactivate it or something? I don't play minecraft often but i googled for vanilla and nothing so i was wondering if the mod had something for it. fog makes it hard to see and I just don't like it

did you disabled the fog on sodium? If yes, BCLib might be overriding it, so look into its settings and disable its custom fog

Oh i have been having frame drops , intense one out of nowhere, but i just thought it was a minecraft thing. I coudl be at 60 fps solid with tons of mobs on screen in an area and like 2h later this same type of are with less or zero mobs becomes barely playable

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

Ok I changed the origins server config and disabled siren night vision and it fixed it. Not a perfect solution but it should work as long as I never take off my head trinket
