You attack it for a bit, like 30 seconds or so, and you'll get your average dps. When it slows down quite a bit, you'll get a good idea of average dps.

That's how testing dps works, you have to be attacking for a certain period of time. Mathematics.

10 seconds is not good enough to calculate dps in any game. It's unrealistic.

#

You just wait till it slows down. Then you have a good idea of average. Of course it will raise with longer time, that's how the math on dps tends to work. However, the graph would show a pretty straight steep slope upwards and then that slope would be far less steep pretty quick with a very small incline the longer you are attacking. However, when it slows down is where you'll have your average dps.

And you can see this happen when you watch your dps

Sounds like a combat skill issue, more experience in combat with kiting, positioning, preparation, etc. Also getting Radiance III and other enchants. I reroll villagers now to get enchants (used to reroll enchant table because you could do fast rerolls for free back in 1.19, but it has changed so villagers for certain enchants it is then for me).

cool, So some background: I installed and configured Fabric and the Medieval modpack, no issues. Then I added FabricProxy-Lite-2.3.0 and crossstitch-0.1.5 and changed the secret on "config/FabricProxy-Lite.toml" to the same one as my Velocity proxy.

so im running a server and its been working fine, but now i (and my friends) are unable to join. this is the server log when we try, right before the game crashes. we had a power outage earlier, and i never set up static ip, so i figured that was the issue- and it was, the server wasnt even launching before i changed it. but now this... i even tried installing new server files and reusing the world, same result. i loaded the server world up in a single player world, it loads me in fine, so i know its not that. any ideas?

There is no armor for that. You can drink overheating potion before nether and then drinking one before effect runs out. You can make 8 minute ones. You can use ice pack as well, again, equipping before entering nether. Having unbreaking III and mending so that it is easy to repair. You lose thirst quicker when body is hot. So have to prevent body getting hot. Armor actually makes it worse, so take off armor when you can.

Having heating stones and campfire as well as being inside with both is ideal for warming up if you are cold. When your body is normal temp, wear all armor and don't let skin touch cold, then you won't get cold enough to the point you are taking damage.

Not sure what you mean by "1.19/1.18.2". Latest version of Medieval MC [Fabric] is v10, which is built on minecraft 1.19.2.
Are you 100% certain you're on the latest version?

sorry @proper orchid I was playing fabric at the time of the question I switched to forge and saw the quest so decided to just go with that, as for the updated version of fabric i just played what ever the updated version on curse forge was available it says it was recently updated but im not sure why it wouldnt have the quests from v10
