mage doesn't spawn with mage staff or anything, mods are separate from each other, so basically starting out as mage doesn't make you any better at the other magic mods in the modpack than any other class

The only thing you have is a fireball which is pretty much the same as the Ghast and you can walk on water while holding a heart of the sea (but even that can be surpassed by a more superior way of water walking)

Hey guys, so I've been trying to get a working server on my pc. And it is weird, but my friend is being crashed because of world save. Every time we make new world, it works until something happens (idk what, but in random moment he get kicked, and then every time he joins, he is kicked with timeout. He is in game, running but after 1 minute he is kicked, like he wouldn't have internet connection). We were playing in one world for 1h, and this bug came. Then we made new world, played 10 minutes and bug came etc. Random moments, but it is depending on world, because every time we make new, it's working again. Does anybody know what is going on?

In my experience, this generally means you either have a firewall issue, a new antivirus software, or some other client that is blocking your connection to the server.

Could try going through those, whatever he has, an add exceptions for minecraft in them. Or just turn them off briefly to see which is causing the issue (if any).

I'm not even sure what you mean by false ban. But these are private servers and private communities. They can kick you from their community at any time if you're not a good fit. If they felt you were annoying or a nuisance, even though you weren't breaking rules, they are very much within their rights to just force you out.

Enchants for Bow list Archer/Elf: Bows that won't be incompatible with the following enchants and also best/most reliable enchant setup I personally found: Unbreaking III, Mending, Power V, Flame, Void Shot III, Fuse Shot III, Replenish III, Bonus Shot III, Ricochet III, Chain Reaction III, Accelerate III, Tempo Theft III, Posture Breaker III, and Cobweb Shot. I personally chose Echo of the Valley as it fits the whole Artemis theme and comes with Ricochet I. Cobweb Shot is amazing with Thundering Quiver (loot you have to find) as the mob gets stuck in the cobweb so they are forced to take the full damage of the lightning strike!

Honestly, to figure out stuff in this modpack, you just have to read. Quests is a good start (Also mentioned in Beginner Tips in my tier list as well)

Having a basic knowledge on single-player rpgs such as Skyrim can actually help as well because you'll understand the concept of having stats and leveling them, however the stats do say what they add when you hover over them. (Also shown in Beginner Tips).

Alright, gonna explain some things on Archer and just giving people an idea of my logic about things because people still be confused on stuff.

Gonna post this example here. Beginner Archer and just got to the point where I feel like I can do more combat stuff. This is because Archer suffers from damage in the beginning as you need a way to get arrows and/or need to find certain items. But here, you can see my stats. Also have a Chest Relic that is giving me 5 Intelligence, but it is also giving 120% Ranged Crit Damage (so can be defined as usable for now). I have a Necklace relic giving another 30% Ranged Crit Damage. And yet another Ring Relic giving 160% Ranged Crit Damage.

So as you can see, I still need to work on Luck for crit chance, but I can do some damage because of what I've been concentrating on. Remember, still early-game. Because of stuff I've found, I'll be shifting into what I can consider mid-game pretty soon

I have a bow with Power I and Infinity. I have Echo of the Valley (crafted) with Unbreaking III, Mending, and its natural enchant which is Ricochet I. I got Mending by going up to a Sky Village (took 3 stacks of dirt then made way down by water on the farms in village) and making a Mending Villager with rerolls this time because Archer already needs to farm anyway. Made by trapping the villager in a boat. I crafted waystones to teleport there. Found another villager and made a Fletcher for Arrows. Using Carrot Farm to trade for emeralds from Farmers.

I was using the Cackling Broom (can be gotten from witches) weapon for a while because of its range as getting in close is a bad idea for Archer because we deal half melee damage. Switched to a Gravity Hammer because I happened to find it while exploring. I've only explored about 5-7K blocks or so. Then crafted the wand from Arcanus (2 sticks and amethyst) and eventually found Magic Missile which is really a turning point and helps a lot! So yeah, progression example of early-game.

A command block is hooked up to a simple clock with "/testfor @a" as the command. This will check for any players online.

A comparator is used to pull the result from the command block.

This comparator goes directly into a second command block that has "/gamerule doDaylightCycle true".

On top of the second command block is a redstone torch and above that another command block with "/gamerule doDaylightCycle false".

 

This can all be compactly contained in bedrock (and hidden away underground if you wish).```

Checked the pins and I don't see an answer: Why is my "thirst" dropping like a rock from the instant I spawn? Within a minute or two of spawning on a new world, I'm taking damage from dehydration.

Hello ! i just installed the mod pack, but now i guess its winter and it's freezing cold and i keep dying because of this, and i can't find how to stay warm besides potions and the Heating stones
I tried all the armors that say "protection from freezing weather" but none of them seems to work ...

Is it intentional that ogres can't use essentially any relics other than rings and necklaces? I know they can only use "flexible" armor but, like, they can't wear a cap? A scarf?

If one relic got tagged as flexible then they would all get tagged as flexible. Also, Medieval Origins mod dev(s) and Relicex mod dev(s) would have to cooperate to achieve this. They would have to inform each other of what is going on which is unlikely. So yeah, no chest or helm relic for Ogres. Every class has its pitfalls but also their strengths.

Oh, I didn't realize that much was going on under the hood (i.e. multiple mods interacting). I totally get it's a balance thing ultimately, I don't think ogres are "too weak" without them or anything. I've been enjoying my big boy. I just wanted to ask about it.

Honestly, I don't explore deserts that much. If y'all are staying in deserts and cold biomes and not moving in a straight line in order to get out then that is a survival thing that y'all need to do. You can manage to stop and explore a building or make note of it to come back to later, but when first encountering, either find a way around or straight line through it. Gotta have some common sense. You see your water going down and temp raising or lowering, then get out as quick as possible.
