oh gross.
Hi all, does anyone know why my modpack would not have the shaders tab in settings? its BMC4 Fabric with only a additional mod (wizards rpg if curious) could this be messing up my shaders or is there something else I could try to troubleshoot?
was it there before you added the mod or something?
also the wizards mod is useless without its dependencies if you haven't installed those, like spell engine and spell power attributes
it was working just fine when I was using share world but I just went through the process of hosting my own server and I have it wokring but now things look funky and shaders is not there
the better mc theme isnt even working and my ui is off
what launcher are you using? your menu setup is screwed up

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.
This video explains the process: https://youtu.be/xMYW1wMbmkM
To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
use atlauncher and readd your changes
heard ty
is there a way to carry mobs thru waystones?
okay i have moved the pack over to AT and the UI is fixed! however, shaders is still not there :/
screenshot your video settings
hii, does anyone know how to fix the getsockopt error?
!wsfull is likely your issue if trying to connect thru it
World Sharing servers are currently at capacity
If you're receiving the error "Connection refused: no further information" when trying to join a friend through "Start Co-op" or "Host World", it's likely that Luna's servers (used for world sharing) are currently full. We don't have a way to notify you when slots on our servers free up, but you are welcome to try again later.
We understand and recognise that this may be inconvenient, so we recommend in this case to host or rent your own server. For more information on hosting options, type !server.

viva la essentials i guess
!ea
The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. All of our modpacks already come with built-in, free world hosting, by clicking the "Share World' button in the Open to LAN menu. You can learn more by typing !ws in the #bots channel. You can also run type !server in the same channel to learn how to properly host a server for better performance and more flexibility. In modpacks that aren't owned by us, you can use mods such as e4mc or WorldHost to host a server completely for free without Essential's many issues and crashes and the microtransactions that they constantly bother users with. To learn more about alternatives to the Essential mod, check out this website.
Free Method
To host a server on your own computer, read the selfhosting guide.
This guide goes over how to install, create, and launch a free Minecraft server on all operating systems (MacOS, Linux and Windows). The guide also guides you through installing Java and optimizing your server for better performance.
If you are installing one of our older modpacks, ignore the "README" file that is included in the serverpack files, as they have outdated information.
Paid Method
We suggest renting a server from Bisect Hosting:
Approx. $10 - $25 a month depending on what plan you choose. You can also get 25% off with Code LunaPixel.
Go here and order a plan which fits you. We suggest 1GB per player but nothing lower than 4GB as the server needs at least 3GB to run.
Go to #server-hosting for more Info!
The following advice works for both the Free and Paid methods:
Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.

- What steps cause the crash? Idk what causes it but, I start ATL, click play on the instance then it loads for a bit and then shows the crash assistant window.

Do NOT Update Mods Manually!
Modpacks use specific versions of certain mods to prevent various issues, such as crashes or major game-breaking bugs. Mods will be updated by the modpack developer when they see fit. Please do not update the mods in a modpack manually, unless specifically told to do so.
To be clear; this is separate from updating the modpack (such as Better MC / Medieval MC / Prominence) itself. You should always stay up to date with the latest version of the modpack.
Thanks for helping but, I also got a quick question. So I would like to know how to update the version of the modpack because, when I right click the instance, the option to update the modpack is grayed out and i can't think of any other way to update it.

Yes, Easter is a thing, lots of people playing on the holiday weekend
if i make a server using the locally hosting thing can i put the world ive been using onto that?

Near the bottom
Read the selfhosting guide in that same command output
its not in there
It tells you where to find the serverpack
yh but how do i put my existing world on there
Read the bottom section of the server command like I said before
ive done that but its not my world
Did you remove the existing one on the server and rename the copied one "world" like it said?
yep
Idk why it wouldn't be working then
When I try to install the modpack from the packs section in atl, the newest version available to me is v25 which, is the one i already have installed
Which version of the pack?
u mean mc version?
Kinda, which modpack edition
bmc 3
For fabric?
yes
are you trying to install it from the modrinth section
cause modrinths latest is v25
It's not, you just have to clear the cache
yes and i have tried every other section aswell
Cuz Modrinth launcher stinks and doesn't update correctly
i mean like on modrinth site itself it hasnt gotten updated
Oh wtf
this was an issue w others
obvi im not chloe idk why id assume technical behind the scene stuff but yeah to get the latest ver you have to install off the curseforge section in atl
world sharing on better mc is only working on lan?
!ws
Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.
To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.
It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!
We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.
There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.
the problem is none of us can join each other, 3 months ago everything worked fine
The servers are probably still a bit full from the holiday weekend, you can run a server instance if you don't wanna deal with it
so playing rn for free isnt possible?
yeah idk why but it that would not work before but after i changed the mod restriction option from only current version to every version it works now which makes no sense to me. thanks for the help tho
you can self host for free

to

My friend and I were trying to play the BetterMc Fabric BM3 Modpack and whenever one of us try to host our world for the other to join it just says pinging the whole time and wont let us join. Would this be due to the fact im on the west coast and hes on the east coast?

not sure where to ask this question but i have a paid server w BMC3, but say i wanted to switch to forge and not ffabric, could i transfer the world to BMC4?

Well, more like a Flathead into a Triangle
still having the same issue just to clarify for the "server-ip=" in "server properties" I can edit this with notes right?
Long story short: no, you're trying to change packs with a world that will most definitely get screwed up due to major mod differences
yea thats what i thought just had to ask

okay thanks

Did you make the mod changes listed there?
No I just updated it like Curseforge told me too
Updated what? The mods or the modpack itself?
Because you should not manually update mods
Also you have an added curios mod when the pack already has one
Reinstall the pack at this point tbh, back up any world you had made if you want to keep it
I cant even launch the game 😂
And don't hit update when it's just individual mods, you should only be using the change version button for the modpack itself
You don't need to? Copy it from your saves folder
Alr
Dose BMC serverpack has server performance improve mods?
bmc is fully optimized, if your server is having perfomance issues follow the following guide
!tps
Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.
The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.
Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.
If lag persists, run the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50
Then, send the link in this channel.

I just install through curse then import through Modrinth and it works great
don't need curse. modrinth allows you to download packs. and curse often breaks downloads
yeah but every time I tried using Modrinth to install this pack, it caused a lot of problems. Also the versions didn't always seem to matchup.
curse worked much better in my experience
plus then you don't have to do the manual installs that Modrinth requires
well manual installs happen on any third party launcher lol but yes modrinth is a bit behind on versions
then use atlauncher instead
also modrinth keeps resetting ram allocation. which is really stupid to not fix
yeah but then i have to use atlauncher xd
and that's weird, I haven't had any ram issues with modrinth
atlauncher has been the most stable across the board, and can install from both places
atl is great for modifying packs as well?
It has add/edit mod buttons, clear information of when there's an update for the actual modpack
look I don't have anything against ATLauncher other than the fact that Modrinth is where all my other packs are already + it looks better
Hello, we host a server with bisecthosting, we installed the new version of Better MC 3 v29.5 and it's now impossible to connect to the server. Thanks for ur help (It's preinstall with Curseforge, here's the server logs https://mclo.gs/pY8hcyV)
oof
all players affected?
yes
You said preinstall using curseforge, you mean the install function on bisect hosting, or did you get the serverpack from curse and install yourself?
we get the serverpack from curse and install ourselves
that's manual installing. preinstalling is having bisect do it for you. Did you download from curse's website or app?
We download from the app, but I'm not sure that we install the modpack manually
use curse's website. never the app. it broke the download. Download serverpack from curse site and use that instead
How can we fix the problem ? We don't want to lose ur save

!alternates

Does anyone know how to access more than one backpack on BMC3 1.21.1? I've seen plenty of others do this but cant seem to access more than one backpack no matter what I do
not with backpacked. You've probably seen others use the other backpack mods like inmis, travelers, sophisticated
Yeah inmis is the one being used in this modpack and the one I am using. Any tips on how I might fix it?
which bmc?

inmis is not in the pack by default?
It is on here by default
Yeah I started playing this version after a 100 days youtube video and saw multiple backpacks being used, but now I cant seem to get it working
Switching backpacks on hotbars keys using "b" opens the same backpack regardless of which hotkey your on or of different backpack tiers. Right clicking on either makes it only go into the accessories slot and back again.
does anyone know if i need the grauu download to be in my server pack for it to work?, i have already had grauu running after downloading but my friends still cant join my server

If you're having issues with your friends joining your server, your port for Minecraft may be closed.
-
Check with https://portchecker.co/ with your IP and Minecraft's port (drop down menu) to see if it's open.
-
If it's closed you will need to search online "How to open Minecraft port for server with (ISP Name)
Important note: a lot will allow port forwarding, but there may be some ISPs that will not allow any port forwarding. Please check online if this is the case for yours.

@maiden spire Sorry to ping you, but I could really use your insight. I suspect my issue might be related more to Ubuntu or the server environment than the modpack itself.
The Problem:
The server runs great overall, both me and my friend experience no lag, entities behave normally, and there’s no performance drop.
However, we’re both now encountering a ghost block issue:
Breaking a block or interacting with doors/trapdoors works functionally we receive the drop or it opens.
But visually, the block or door remains "there" for 5–10 seconds before disappearing.
No delay in mob interaction, no rubber-banding, no general lag.
What I've Tried / Diagnosed:
Server TPS is stable at 20.
Ping between server and client (main PC) is under 2ms consistently.
I switched Java from the default version to Java 21.
This issue only started after I moved the server from my Windows PC to a dedicated Ubuntu machine (both have same world/mod setup).
Even with just me on the server, the ghosting still happens.
It might be something with ubuntu network? I will like your help in further diagnosis/troubleshoot

hello, what's the difference between Better MC 1/2/3/4?
- 1.21.1
- Prism launcher
- Nope
- v29.5
- there were no crashes
- I downloaded the modpack
Better MC [FABRIC] BMC3 1.21.1from the sourceforge website https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/better-mc-fabric-bmc3 . this assembly is built on fabric, downloaded from the same site from additional server pack files, and when I start the server, it saysBetter MC [NEOFORGE] 1.21, and it does not allow me to log in to the server
does everyone experience these phantom blocks or just some people?
does it happen with every single block, or is it from a specific mod?
does it happen anywhere in the minecraft world, or just in certain areas?
during the time that the phantom blocks is visible, can you interact with it/get blocked by it?
during the time the phantom blocks is visible, does the rest of the server lag? can you interact with and use chests, crafting tables, break other blocks
the saying neoforge is a visual thing happening to a few players, its not related to your issue at hand, it seems to be a client issue
did you try restarting prism, is it up to date? if that doesnt work, try logging out of your mc account and back in on it
thanks, ill try, yes, i tried restarting prism
Me and 1 friend play it and we both experience phantom blocks.
Every block, it be dirt, stone, doors, trap doors, etc.
Anywhere in the minecraft world
we cant interact with it, and nor do we get blocked by it, we can go through it and even the border when you put crossaire on it appear with the real block and not phantom block
when phantom block is visible there be no lag in the server. no tick spike and we can open chest, crafting table etc
sounds like it may be related to a network mod in the modpack
idk which ones we use in this, but it might be worth experimenting
causing desync
one thing I notice is, it happens when I do something the first time, like if i open a door, it image will not update, but after i give it some time and open and close it few times, there will be no delay for a while
same with blocks
- 1.21.1
- Curseforge
- no
- 3 v25
- nope
- it crashes after clicking play in the minecraft launcher
what do you mean by experimenting?
removing any network optimization mods from the server and client temporarily and rerunning everyt
everything *

You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
tried it, no success, I removed krypton, connectivity, lithium and modernfix.
I also tried vanilla server and it does not have phantom blocks. what do i do now?

solved
@meager yacht would you have any idea why phantoms blocks are happening?
I think I solved the issue. It was my mistake.
After solving the java crash issue and fixing the RAM errors, I did not reinstalled the server and that might have corrupted a network config something. I totally forgot about that.
After reinstalling it, the issue seem to be fixed. Mostly there is no phantom blocks, sometimes there is the delay of 1sec but I will rather blame that for bad hardware.
sorry for disturbing you when the mistake was this obvious. thanks for the responses <3
I downloaded better mc fabric bmc3 and added simple voice chat, i cant hear my friends tho and it shows the disconnected symbol, im using the built in server hosting, does simple voice chat work with it or do i gotta use somt else to play with my friends with simple voice chat
can't use simple voice chat with the world sharing unfortunately
because it doesnt also forward the voice chat port
alr
if you self host a server instance you can, as long as you port forward the voice chat port as well as the server port
Does anyone know where to find the 1.21.1 server file? I can only find the 1.21 on curse forge
under additional files
praying the lunapixel slots open up soon
try it and see
then might be still full cause of the holidays and spring break

Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
can't :(
Thank you tho
So just downloaded (followed side instructions to add the extra mods and resources) Better MC through Modrinth and started playing. Looking to setup a server at some point and testing modpacks. Had a quick few questions:
- Is it normal for Xaero's to cut off part of the map you've explored? (Blue regions in screenshot)
- Has anyone else encountered this in Terrablender? (Red arrows and region)
- Is it normal for obsidian to have 2 different textures? If so, how many other blocks are like this?
I totally understand if you say I need to seek support from the independent mod creators for #1 and #2. But I have never encountered this issue with either of those 2 mods before and still currently do not in other modpacks I have setup, so figured I'd check to see if there was a known conflict someone came across.
Side note for #3, the texture for each block seems random depending on the coordinates.
https://mclo.gs/8BZZDWB pls help </3
i can open mc and stuff but as soon as i try to create a world the game crashes
do you have a crash report?
the link i sent was the crash report
yeah imma leave my laptop on and lay on my pc
does any1 know how to port foward ive opened the port up on the rogers app but like it refueses to let my friend join
only i can join
@main inlet Which modpack are you using and have you modified it in any way?
Adding to this, it seems that some netherrack textures have reverted back to pre 1.14 while others (those mixed with other stuff like a Nether Moss Block) has the post 1.14 texture
i need an actual game log not your client debug log or whatever this is
!logs
To better assist with fixing your issue, we will need some logs:
-
Curseforge -> Right click the modpack instance -> Open Folder.
-
ATLauncher -> Click 'Open Folder' on the modpack instance.
-
MultiMC -> Select your instace and click 'Instance Folder' on the right.
-
** For servers** -> Open the folder containing your server files.
To find the latest.log file, navigate to the 'logs' folder.
To find the hs_err_pid.log file, simply look for the file name after opening the instance folder.
To find a crash report, navigate to the 'crash-reports folder and find the most recent file after your crash occurred.
Once located, please upload the requested file here. If it fails, upload to https://mclo.gs/ and share the link here.
- go to settings on the map and on the last page click "reload all regions"
- yeah that just happens sometimes with terrablender, just a visual bug with the biome name
- make sure you don't have programmer art enabled in resource packs
Ah, okay. Would your fix for #3 also fix an issue where it seems some of the end blocks are see through? (I'm trying it right now but wanted to throw that out there)
no idea
Use playit.gg on your laptop
not recommended
it has performance issues
If you really gotta port forward try to find a form with a specific guide for rogers
!port
If you're having issues with your friends joining your server, your port for Minecraft may be closed.
-
Check with https://portchecker.co/ with your IP and Minecraft's port (drop down menu) to see if it's open.
-
If it's closed you will need to search online "How to open Minecraft port for server with (ISP Name)
Important note: a lot will allow port forwarding, but there may be some ISPs that will not allow any port forwarding. Please check online if this is the case for yours.
the only way is through the app
the app tells me its open
It does but its better then nothing
but when i check on this website it says closed and my friend cant join
idk ill call rogers whjen im free this week
then it means you didn't open it
It's specifically the Pythandendron blocks.
Turnign off Programmer Art did not fix these blocks but it did fix the other texture issues, thanks!
Any idea what biome is supposed to be represented by that terrablender stand in? Cuz it seems to just spawn stone, dirt, and grass blocks (no grass, ores, trees, or anything else) above sea level
did you change anything else in your resource pack list at any point?
is it labeled as TCP and UDP?
I fully admit I lazily turned EVERYTHING on 😅 hence why programmer art was turned on
that's probably the problem them, all of the necessary resource packs are enabled by default
if you blindly enable a bunch of other stuff in random order you're asking for stuff to break
I thought I had to enable everything since I had to manually download some stuff (running on modrinth)
I wish you luck. I couldn’t get mine to work hopefully you have better luck then me
bad juujuu
yes, I should know better
if things are turned off, likely for a very good reason
anyone know the list of what is defaulted on/off?
probably better to reinstall fresh

You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Does anyone know the mod that adds rerolls to enchantments?
Look up rust at night
is there a huge difference between fabric and forge in terms of structure? Its so hard to find strcutures. I have only found few small houses and 1-2big structures. and have explored almost 10k blocks

mine craft 1.20.1 server
how to fix?
How is the server hosted?
Sorry I forgot I'm using play.hosting
Downloaded the server pack and just pasted in mods
Yeah that's not gonna work, you need to use the entire serverpack
You ignored all of the configs and any extra files
I pasted all the files in mods
I know, that's not enough
Is there an installing guide?
You need to paste in the entire serverpack
!server idk if it's gonna apply to a random server host but here

Ok will try thx (:
what was changed in the newest update?
i added the things shall i just start now?
is there a way to get Jades Item Mod Name to work in Prom II RPG
sorry
No
Custom server jar?
Its automatically detected if it's there
Ok
Although idk why your server container is running Java 19 that is not a common version
I can change it if it will bug the modpack
Btw play hosting in popular
Edit variables.txt and set skip-java-checks to true if it gives you problems
Where did you download the serverpack
curse forge
Hm
Double check that the FTB mods are in the mods folder and the ftbquests folder in config is intact

Hi I was hoping someone could help me with some mod compatibilities.
Incompatible mods found!
net.fabricmc.loader.impl.FormattedException: Some of your mods are incompatible with the game or each other!
A potential solution has been determined, this may resolve your problem:
- Remove mod 'FTB XMod Compat' (ftbxmodcompat) 1.2.3 (C:\Users\Wafi Khan\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\Better MC [FABRIC] BMC1\mods\ftb-xmod-compat-fabric-1.2.3.jar).
- Replace mod 'Fabric Loader' (fabricloader) 0.14.24 with version 0.15.0 or later.
- Replace mod 'Just Enough Items' (jei) 11.8.1.1034 with any version that is compatible with:
- fabricloader, version 0.15.0 or later
- fabric-api 0.76.1+1.19.2

how did you even get this error to happen
The pack already has JEI or EMI, idr which
ahh okay thank you
i assume theres no way to update the fabric loader? and if there is will it break the game?
you shouldnt update mods no
!updatemods
Do NOT Update Mods Manually!
Modpacks use specific versions of certain mods to prevent various issues, such as crashes or major game-breaking bugs. Mods will be updated by the modpack developer when they see fit. Please do not update the mods in a modpack manually, unless specifically told to do so.
To be clear; this is separate from updating the modpack (such as Better MC / Medieval MC / Prominence) itself. You should always stay up to date with the latest version of the modpack.
Thanks everyone

I did yes
it looks like it's conflicting with better end trying to generate its own stuff
I don't recall RU having effect on end? is that something new?
Yeah it doesn't touch the end at all and I used it without issue in 1.20 and when I updated
idk tbh, haven't used 1.21 very much
Can the item prompt in the upper-right corner be moved to the center-top position?

i mean it is a biome called "end corruption" lol
Where would i download the modpack for fabric? I am very new to this 😦
Using a Modlauncher, such as ATLauncher.
Im going to make a server and would perfer not to use a launcher. Is this possible?
Well, if you want to make a server, you can download the serverpack from a place (like the Curseforge website).
Are you on Windows?
Oops, typo.
I am. I've made a few regular vanilla server, well many, but my first foray into mods
!powershell
An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!
Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.
Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:UsersUsernameDocumentsMinecraftServer)
You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.
IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.
Might want to do this when you download a serverpack
Oh ok. Very cool ty
but otherwise, it should generally be the same for starting a server?
Ty for your help. So when i download the pack from curseforge , i dont see the "fabric" version or maybe its called something otherwise
You went to the right place for Better MC (Fabric), right? Make sure you used filtering and stuff.

if you plan on running and playing the modpack yourself on said server you will definitely need a modpack launcher, the pack won't run properly trying to install it to the vanilla launcher
That's one of our packs, yeah. BMC 3 is a sort of "version" of the pack? Edition?
gotcha.
Well I have 2 computers. One for the server and I will connect to said server
So can i "serve" the game with a launcher on my server and just log onto that server?
wdym? the server just runs in the terminal, you need the modpack launcher to actually run the game to play on the server
Sounds great, I will give it a whirl. Thanks!

Hi, I wanted to start play Better mc but which should I play? BMC 4 or 5?
I saw 5 was neoforge tho
5 has newer updates on mods and 1.21 features, but doesn't have as much content as 4 due to many mods not having updated to 1.21 yet
So BMC 3 is the Best one to choose?
Where did 3 come from? 😭
I saw recent updates on bmc3 and a lot of people play this version
theres not any best but BMC4 for forge and BMC2 for fabric are the ones with the most content and are actively maintaned/updated currently
But first i wanted to ask about newer versions...
Oh wait, you're in the wrong channel talking about bmc4 and 5
Oh
4 and 5 are forge/neoforge, fabric only goes up to 3
Sorry
bmc3 for fabric and bmc5 for neoforge are 1.21.1's, so newest verions, just less modded content due to mods not getting updated yet

ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
you wrote the config incorrectly
hello i need help
im trying to buy a server and am unsure of how much gb to add to it

Does anyone know how to get the Collection Enchant from Charm (forked) it doesn't seem to be part of villager and enchanting table loot tables.
quick question what is the i am error enchanted book? and what do i put it on?
or is it simply a literal error and can't be used?
Is there any way to make these paperdolls appear permanently without disappearing?
so does better minecraft just not really work with any server hosting service
it works with plenty lol what service are you using
apex hosting, im trying to do BMC3 fabric but i keep getting the getsockopt error

We don't support Aternos nor can we assist you with using it for reasons listed below;
- You are unable to add / edit the mods to implement a fix that can be game changing at times.
- We are unable to control the updates of our packs on Aternos, nor ever will.
- The hosting is not strong enough to host our packs on there without it crashing every so often.
- We have other free methods that work much better than Aternos does. Run the !ws command and the !server command in #bots for more information on how to host a server for free.
aternos also deleted all lps packs off the site so
do you know why my friends get high ping
dont ping people lmao, i was just about to answer anyways but they likely have bad connection to the us based luna servers then
yes, world sharing is shared thru the luna servers
exaroton?
same thing applies from aternos considering its the exact same just a paid version lmao
they have normal 100ms for 10 mins but after that the ping starts to go up insanly high
my friends are playing from there right now.
ok? we still dont offer support for it
you can usethe host world feature

Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
too much ping
the server must be in America
yeah im not surprised youd have bad ping w it since i told them the worldsharing servers are US based
yeah
no like the 140ms are fine but after a while it gets up to 4k and then i have to rejoin my own world, else they cant even move
okay i really dont know the solution to that other than they just probably dont have good connection to the luna servers and i suggest reading the server command i ran above for alternate methods for multiplayer if youre having issues with world sharing
im on windows 11 and the windows 11 guide is hard to understand for me
i dont really know coding
my english is also not c1 level

did you just update or were you already on latest
i think i updated before i asked about the book initially earlier, and when i went to check again when you suggested i noticed that i was already on the latest, no other newer update was there
do i have to perhaps create a new world?
did you find the book before updating
yes i believe so
yeah thats probably why
just dw about it
shouldnt happen again
if you find a new one lmk
is that so, alright, then what is the actual book then?
its just bugged
yeah but you probably wont find it in any chests

!alternates
You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

any other players lagging in server
no its just me only
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50
Then, send the link in this channel.

hello! im looking for some sort of guide or something to help me out to know what im doing
thats going to heavily depend on what you need it for, if you need a guide to playing the pack itself, that would be your questbook in game in the top left of your inv when its open
if you need a guide for anything else you're going to need to specify
read the questbook ingame
i tried, but i dont fully get it
be more specific
idk why no bosses spawn
they do spawn?
the piglin beast dont want to spawn
You sure you're in the right place?
is in an specific place????? damn
yo my game crashes when i try to load into a world if i remove the dungeons arise mod
ok it just spawned
send a screenshot of the folder config -> paxi -> datapacks
how to i use simple voice chat with that world share, so my friend can just do the same udp then i can hear them
help pls
can't, because the world share isn't capable of also forwarding the voice chat port
you can make a server instance and port forward both yourself though

I gave him the port that was in the chat and he entered it when adding the server
Try without the port number, just address ending with .gg
which adress?

Can someone guide me through getting essential mod on better minecraft 1.19.2. I cant seem to figure it out.
!ea
ok bot decided to die
Thanks so much I had no idea!
like this sword for example
only shows that thing on the left
!optifine
It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.
If you are interested in Optifine alternatives for your own gameplay, you can find a list here
Note that a majority of these mods are already included in our modpacks.
For an indepth explanation of why Optifine is bad, you can read this document created by Sodium's developer, Jellysquid.

Better MC 3 - v25 crashed. The logs have been uploaded to mclo.gs:
- 1.21.1 [FABRIC]
- What launcher did you run Minecraft with? (e.g. CurseForge, ATLauncher, MultiMC, ...)
- Have you changed the modpack in any way except mods?
- v25
- Have you ever gotten past the crash condition without crashing, or does the game always crash?
- What steps cause the crash?

theres already a fork of e4mc in the pack for worldsharing
There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.
voicechat ports cant be forwarded thru world sharing, its not gonna be causing crashes, i dont think, but its not gonna work with worldsharing
hello guys
can someone please tell me the difference between BMC1,BMC2 AND BCM3 ?
the older ones have more mods is what im guessing?
the key differences: bmc1 isnt regularly updated/maintained anymore so ill focus on bmc2/bmc3 difs
bmc2 is for 1.20.1, while bmc3 is for 1.21.1
the modding scene for 1.21.1 is still fresh and things are still getting updated for it, so theres less mods in bmc3 than bmc2, yeah, but features new to 1.21.1 are in it
its generally a preference thing, you're free to compare the mod lists of both
