as of BMC3 FABRIC v7. this is the armor graph I made if yall are interested. both modded end-game armors are better than netherite even if the damage source is only dealing 1 damage.
but both armors are exactly the same until the source is dealing more than 36 damage per hit. full prot 4 netherite diamond is fatal at about 94 damage while full prot 4 dragon armor is fatal at about 105 damage

Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. but even tho dragon armor does a slightly better job at reducing damage(not many sources do more than 36 per hit) it's important to note that dragon armor has 110-helm ,130 -boots ,150-leggings and 160-chestplate, LESS durability than netherite-diamond armor

dragon armor can have built in elytra, and each piece has 10 KB resis while netherite diamond pieces have 1 each

and each netherite diamond piece pacifies endermen, piglins, and phantoms without the need of enchants.

these are all factors you should take into account when choosing between the 2 armor sets

So I found out that it is possible to change the birch_leaves.properties file in
/StayTrue/assets/minecraft/optifine/ctm/leaves/birch_leaves/orange/birch_leaves.properties
so that overrides the gray texture for the leaves to be orange but they still look gray in the inventory.

As for the acacia leaves, I couldn't find anything about them and the texture is also gray in the resourcepack so the colormap must not be right for these leaves... I have no clue how they work though.

If these issues are fixed in V7, unfortunately not for me, could someone either send me a working StayTrue resourcepack or explain how to fix the issue?
I am out of ideas at this point, especially with the acacia leaves. 😦

Hey I was redirected from LilyPad Management to get some assistance. I'm having issues with high ram.. I guess? It's a little confusing to me so, I'll do my best to explain and answer questions. But basically they said, "yeah, the problem is when it spikes briefly which is what the lilypad panel will show" and when we hit our limit of around 13GBs the server closes. Even while nobody is on the server is still manages to get a high ram and crash. I'm not entirely sure this is in any way related to the modpack itself.

• Game Version: 1.20.1
• Launcher: Cursefore
• Changes: Add a couple of different mods, nothing intense.
• Modpack Version: 25
• Ever got past crash condition: No, never gotten past the point because the ram usage only goes up.
• Crash: Lilypad Server, Load chunks and do anything ram intensive. And while the server itself will uses roughly half of the ram Lilypad displays, Lilypad will reach its cut off point and stop the server. They said again it was "yeah, the problem is when it spikes briefly which is what the lilypad panel will show"

Basically, what I'm asking is there any way I can lower the ram usage, or I think the term was Java reserving, and trying to lower that, so I don't end up reaching the cutoff point. If nobody can help or think its unrelated to the modpack, that makes sense. I have some other questions about trying to update my modpack and keep the world to the latest BetterMC version 1.21 V6, and if that is even a possibility. Sorry for any grammar mistakes, and thank you!

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

A few times it crashed the moment I opened the inventory, a few times it let me move the cursor around for a second or so first and twice it let me open the inventory and close it again as long as I didn't mouse-over anything in it - and then keep playing without crashing (until I opened the inventory again.) It lets me play as long as I want otherwise, though there's also an error message when looking at dropped objects (pls see screenshot.) Happens with and without the controller connected. Nobody else on the server is able to reproduce the issue and it happens in single player too

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

I haven't seen anyone else respond to this yet (probably because the developers are still trying to pin point the exact issue) so I'll just share the little thing I found for now. Stay true's pink birch leaves requires optifine to work, and optifine doesn't officially support running on Fabric. It does say on Stay True's official curseforge faq page that putting Stay True at the top of the resourse packs list and setting leaves to fancy should fix the grey leaves, but that hasn't worked for me personally. Additional on the their faq there is instructions on how to disable the custom birch leaves colours, I haven't tried this myself tho so I can't say if this works or is a good temporary fix. If anyone finds any more info on how to fix this please share, cuz these grey leaves are kinda driving me crazy at this point

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

You (likely) need to update your graphics drivers in order to resolve the crash. Here's how to go about doing that!

1. Identify your graphics card

• Press the GPU 0 graph and read your GPU from the top right

Note:

2. Download your drivers from the manufacturers site

Hi! Ive been running a minecraft server in my computer for a while but i havent been able to get anyone to join it? I Have set up and port forwarding for 25565 for TCP & UDP on the right device.
