Saw this after posting and tested it - I've confirmed that the issue was an outdated version of fabric in version 3.5 and ARM versions of Java not playing nicely with the modified renderer. Definitely a MacOS exclusive issue.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

hello when I downloaded the fabric from cursed forge, it came in a folder with everything in it. How can I put the mods on so that when I launch out of minecraft launcher, it has the mods?

If people are experiencing render thread crashes it could be the APU driver - I’d be surprised for it to be at the JVM as SteamOS is very close to stock Linux aside from a few modifications for windows games

I triple checked that the farm should work for this version and that i built it right. the problem is the tnt isn't tnt'ing. it's not duping or dropping. i am confused. is there a setting i need to change? is it the debugify mod?

Hi! I'm currently on the hunt for a mod that is part of BetterMC2.
For context, I want to enable the vanilla crafting book (the one added in 1.12), it is currently disabled.

I was able to do this in ATM9 after some time, chaging a single setting in a file.
Specifically, from the Crafting Tweaks mod, in craftingtweaks-common.toml, I changed
hideVanillaCraftingGuide = false to true.

However BetterMC doesn't use CraftingTweaks. I tried turning off a few mods that had "menu" in the name but to no avail.

So I ask for your help here - which mod do you believe can cause this?
I would then try to turn it off and see if the book comes back. When I find it, I'd then go to that mod's creator and figure it out from there.

Sadly I'm not the only who was asking for that function to work properly. I have a couple friends who also started around or after 1.12 and kinda need the book to play.

But, it seems there's something else to look at. From what youre saying, the vanilla book causes lag. I'm also experiencing the same lag when using the button.

It seems the lag is created because of the use of the "show craftable only" function in both ways for whatever reason. Since it is not an issue in ATM9, it must be some interaction with a mod somewhere

I can't interact with waystones in peoples claims. People have to place waystones out of claims for them to be able to be used. How can I change this?
I've found the openpack patries and claims config file but to be honest it is very confusing. I need to add #fwaystones:waystones to the allow interaction list. Also I think this should be by default in the pack

1. Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

• Java 11 (https://adoptium.net/temurin/releases/?version=11) for versions 1.16.5 and below (can also use 8 if its not working)
• Java 18 (https://adoptium.net/temurin/releases/?version=18) for any versions newer (or 17 if 18 doesn't work)
• Consider installing the JRE instead of the JDK for a smaller file size

2. When installing through adoptium, make sure that Add to PATH and Set JAVA_HOME variable are both set to be installed (please see https://imgur.com/a/jPu1h7h for how that would look)

3. Check if java has been correctly installed by running java --version (or java -version on older versions), and seeing if the output is correct (see https://imgur.com/a/OWcoq4p for an example of the output)

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

hey so im having issues with being stuck on holding a sunflower stem 😭 i was holding shift and breaking sunflowers and eventually did something to cause me to get stuck holding its stem?? i have no clue how to fix this

My better minecraft is crashing and sending me back to curse forge. I am able to launch it, and get in my world and walk around for a bit, however after a minute or two it crashes and sends me back to my Mods on CurseForge. I searched on google and youtube, however no solutions popped up.

im using Curse Forge and playing on 1.20.1.
Its on v23.5. I play the game and in less than a minute it just disappears. It was able to play normally this morning, however after around 12pm PST the crashes started happening and havent stopped. Truth is this is my first time using a modpack on minecraft ever lol (btw this is happening on my aternos server with a couple friends but they are able to use it fine)

curseforge doesnt let you switch your java version

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

Hi, I'm running BMC2 Fabric server side but I can't get the .ps1 file to work, keeps saying incorrect modloader specified and four extra errors about null issues, the OS that's being run is Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation. The only way I could get it running was manually installing the fabric server jar and making java args through the system variables, is there a way to fix since im on old OS? Or do i have to do it through the ps1 for everything to load?

truth be told you should probably update to a newer version of windows anyways, server 2008 isnt any better for hosting than standard windows is

technically you should be pointing to the .exe in the bin

since thats how the ps1 uses it

so C:/path/to/java/bin/java.exe
