Replay mod has huge issues with some of these modpacks, to the point of crashing medieval Minecraft 1.19.2. We can't really help with Replay Mod issues. Your best bet is contacting mod author if they have a github or similar but even then as it is a mods conflict, they may be unable to help.

Im trying to get the "start.ps1" file to open to start a server and Im unable to do that despite doing the additional methods listed under the "readme" file. How do i open the PS1 file if the Powershell application doesnt work despite the listed fix?

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

open nvidia control panel, manage 3d settings, program settings, and then find the javaw.exe that is in a folder of your launcher (memorized location) and add that
then you can do the same thing with windows start, settings, system, graphics settings, browse for that same javaw.exe, and set to high performance.
can add java.exe from same location as well if need be but typically it's the javaw.exe of the launcher you are using that needs to be tied to your graphics card.

@night birch i havent modified the mod pack, this is my first modpack. im using curseforge, playing on 1.19.2. to replicate the issue all i have to do is go through the nether portal, i have yet to get it to allow me to explore the nether. i dont happen to see a crash reports folder in the bmc1 folder, i havent yet checked the faq just popped on the server and wanted to ask for help as this has been frustrating me for days.

The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

Theres replacements that allow some of those mods to run whole in this modpack, so just disregard that. If your PC hard-crashed theres probably something else going on.

What's the machines specs? CPU/GPU/Memory/PSU

Weird that it would be isolated to loading into the nether though, just some things to try:

Backup your saves folder, wipe the modpack and reinstall.
Allocate more memory to the client.
Check Java version, ideally run Adoptium (Java 18 release for this pack).

I prefer ATLauncher to CF, but I don't particularly think this is a launcher issue, but ATLauncher makes it easier to specify which JRE you're using (at least in my opinion)

3. Check if java has been correctly installed by running java --version (or java -version on older versions), and seeing if the output is correct (see https://imgur.com/a/OWcoq4p for an example of the output)

• NOTE: 64 bit versions of java ALWAYS have '64-bit Server VM' in the version output. If that is not there, you have installed a 32-BIT version!! If you're getting Out of Memory errors or any other errors, PLEASE install 64-bit

4. If the output isn't as intended, you have 2 options.
   i) Delete ALL other java versions from your PC (ONLY recommended if you don't need them)
   ii) Redirect your launcher/server to use your new installation of Java

1. Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
2. Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)

Method ii

1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

you would really only need to add permissions for mods you added and turned on permissions mode for

ie essentialcommands, fabrichomes, fabrictpa, worldedit, servercore, a discord integration mod

I'm just trying to optimize my server, getting some folks experiencing lag and other folks either not experiencing it or experiencing it to a lesser degree. I can provide a spark link if someone could help me figure out what the cause of the server side lag is because there are a lot of messages in the console window about the server running behind. Hardware wise I would think it would be reasonably ok, have a E5-4667 v4 and 64GB of RAM.

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

If you can not launch your server/game after using these flags, then remove the word java from the start. Also, make sure you are using Java 18 on 1.18.2 / 1.19.2 and Java 11 on 1.16.5. These should be downloaded from Adoptium's website.

If lag persists, do the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50
