Hello, is it normal that some error messages and warnings are displayed when starting the BetterMC 16.5 server for the first time?

We had a version 15 server running. A player was kicked mid-game. When he reconnected all his items were gone, all animals, all villagers. And in the server log there were a hundred error messages. Since then, the server can no longer be terminated properly. it hangs at the step Overworld Save. And when restarting, several thousand errors are displayed.

But it doesn't matter now we'll start again in version 16.5 if the errors and warnings are normal

Hi, i found a chest in a sunken ship in my world that more or less crashes the game whenever i interact with it

It will cause endless lag that won't even let me quit out and reload, the game just gets stuck on "saving world" when i try to exit

1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

Found another bug. Anvil Inventories go poof if you exit an anvil and it turns into a cracked anvil

I'm not really sure how or why, just lost a looting IV sword and a sweeping edge III book in that way.

I'm playing 1.19.2, v 16.5 of the modpack. I am playing an unmodded version of the modpack, using cusreforge ot launch. As I say, i'm just trying to launch the game. No, I have not gotten past this. I will try to look into the crash report file later.

I think this is linked to a crash which happened yesterday when my whole PC crashed into a Blue screen when I tried to open the modpack and had to restart as well... I'm at a loss

i did few tests and nothing changes on server side, when i turned redstone clock on. All spark graphs are stable and flat. I have java 18 with aikar flags. It looks like this issue is on the client side but i dont know, where. I reinstalled client many times, disable particles, shaders and so on. Nothing helped. Every time i activate redstone clock, game client starts to shutter and fps drops by 10-20%. I haven't seen this on other modpacks

I did it already before asking.

1. I have java 18 adoptium, checked already with java -version commans
2. Allocated 6 Gb Ram. I tried more, but it doesnt help
3. I changed render and simulation distance to 5 even though my computer can handle 12+
4. Particles on minimum
5. Entity distance on 75%
6. Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is disabled already
7. Dynamic Lights mod is disabled in ATlauncher.
   But how does this relate to my situation where single redstone circuit near my character causes constant shuttering? And it is present only in fabric version of BMC

I have an iron farm that uses water to move the golems. Water froze in the winter, but even now that it's summer water isn't running right. It goes one block and abruptly stops. I've tried replacing the water and even all the blocks the water touches. Any ideas? I'll get screenshots and more info if needed later when kids get to bed. Thanks!

Thanks but keeping water from freezing isn't the issue, it's that once thawed the water never flows the right way again, even after removing and replacing both the water and all blocks touching it. Water is only traveling 2 blocks and stopping instead of 8

I have tried deleting the dimensions folder within my world folder but it just regenerates the same dimension at the same state. I have also tried resetting the advancements for the players on the server. If there some other directory I am missing removing a file from?

ok thanks :). What happened was a Ghasts ended up setting the trees that never burn in the dark forest on fire and the fire spread everywhere so I was hoping for a quick fix to get rid of it.

nether traveling = 8 blocks per block,
lost paradise traveling = 10 blocks per block,

Hello! For us to properly help you with your issue, you will need to answer all 8 questions below. Post the answers in this channel:

1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? If so, what did you do? (Updating/adding/removing mods, changing configs)
2. What launcher, or program, are you using to launch the game? (CurseForge, ATLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. What steps are necessary to reproduce the crash? (Launching the game, exploring the world, etc)
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Send the crash report file into this channel. Right click the modpack, Open Folder, and navigate to the Crash Reports folder. Drag the newest one here. If there is no crash reports folder, do the same thing with the latest.log file in the logs folder.
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq?

the Goblin Traders mod by jab125 was replaced with the official port by the original dev

the new one is incompatible with end Goblin Traders
