I don't have MMC5 installed so I cannot check what other mods there are. You could add SereneSeasons back though and use /gamerule doSeasonCycle false, then you don't have seasons anyway.

Wait, I can see your modlist in the logs. You seem to still have Serene Seasons Plus **.**.**.** in your mod folder. Removing that could be enough.

Uhm. Do you play other modpacks as well? Your log says hexerei@1.20.1-0.4.2.3 but that isn't in MMC4.
The logs might be from one of those. Can you go into your \logs folder, scroll down and send the file that's called latest.log?

Alright. Either make a fresh install, or do a right click on the instance β Open Folder β \logs and send the latest.log so that we can see a bit more than just the end of the logs. Because I have no clue where it is getting the "server mods" from.

Your log is full of [worlds_together] No valid registry found! errors. I have never heard of "worlds together", whatever it is seems to attempt to link your MMC4 world with some other modpack world, which is why you can't connect. Do you know what this "worlds together" is?

My bad for not sending a picture and I hope its not insulting to ask how to turn it off π so far this modpack has been one of the most immersed I've had but I have friends who get headaches from certain textures let alone the view bobbing. Im happy I dont have that issue but I know a few people on the server are gonna ask me

Hello everyone. I'm new here and hosting a MMC4 server for a large group.
Issue: Player is in a Candy Biome (Alex's Caves) and has spawned a "Gum Worm". Whenever this player joins the game, it crashes instantly due to this mob. We've also had some issues with boss mobs in the Twilight Forest.
We're using the most up to date version of the mod pack. Server specs can be provided, but are (should be) more than sufficient. Server is running Unbuntu 25.10

At least what I always do is making a complete new install and copy the world save over. Because sometimes updates at bisect can break things.
And the problem with the teleport particles is the same that I had some days ago in v28.
A friend used a special spell and then the server crashed and we couldnt get it up and running. So I started it in singleplayer and then uploaded the world save again. This then solved our problem.
Bug Report for MMC4 v37hf:
Twilight Forest - Naga Issue: The Naga is stuck/frozen and unable to move or attack.
Twilight Forest - Portal Spawn Issue: Upon entering the portal, the player spawns high in the sky and dies from fall damage.

I'll try it later, but the Twilight Forest spawn point is completely floating in the sky. It looks more like a bug.
yeah that's not normal, but I'm thinking it's just a very unlucky rare worldgen issue
this is fixed in Hazen n' Stuff 1.3.7, but to update that you need to update AzureLib, which means you would need to remove Cataclysm Spellbooks, Discerning the Eldritch, and Mobs of Mythology
so for now I would instead just advise avoiding the rod of discord/related HnS spells

My issue that I'm having is memory leaks, caused by memory allocation, something in the modpack is eating up my ram and the ram is not deallocating.

Iron's Spells has an ingame guide book, that's probably a good place to start. Once you got a spell book with spells inside, you can use a keybind to cast them (can be changed in keybind settings).

If it says "Curios" and not something like "Jewelry" it might even be for more than just rings and necklaces, possibly everything you can put in curio slots.

In MMC4 there are, I don't know how muon handled it in MMC5. They should work in rings and necklaces for sure, if they work for relics or other curio items you can find out by putting it in an anvil and see if it can be added.
Can you send the config file? That sounds different than the 1.20.1 version.

Ah okay. Then yeah, you'll have to lower all those numbers. Right now it seems to say "if the game attempts to generate it, it has a 100% success rate". So, for example, setting all values to 0.5 would be a 50% success rate and thus halve the amount of generated structures.
So recently I found that my memory allocation would be gradually increasing over time, it takes about a couple of hours, the more ram I allocate the longer it takes, but something is eating it up and it's not deallocating, so I'm wondering if there are any mods that could cause memory leaks?
Unfortunately I do not have a screenshot of this, but when I press F3 and I look to the right corner, I can see that the percentage gradually increases over time and does not go back down

I have made similar experiences in newer versions of MMC4 (I think it became noticable after v35 or so). Unfortunately that isn't all too surprising for big modpacks. I have no insight into the technical aspects of it though, so I am unable to tell you which mods are causing or most likely to cause memory leaks. That might be something the devs could know. There's the mod AllTheLeaks though, maybe you want to check if it has some sort of diagnostic tool to find possible causes.

Looks like an update from HazenNStuff removed the dreadstone ore, so now whenever you load previously-explored chunks the game is replacing the now-removed ore. That's nothing you need to solve, it just needs to do that for every chunk and then it's done.

@molten vigil So recently I found that my memory allocation would be gradually increasing over time. The more ram I add to the game the longer it takes. Something is eating up all of my ram and it's not deal locating, I'm wondering if any of the mods have been known to cause memory leaks? Or maybe just a specific one? I could also send a screenshot of my issue once I find it again, but I noticed that when I look at my memory allocation and the percentage seems to go up and down and then gradually goes up even more and then a bit down, but it doesn't stop going up.
Once your memory usage gets pretty high, can you:

I added Sophisticated Backpacks to my server so we use the tank and xp pump upgrades for that. I don't think there's xp storage in base MMC5

Yeah just a Vanilla one. I couldn't find any where you didn't have to use armadillo's so I just made one that's a tower your supposed to build over the ocean and a bunch of mobs spawn in
I don't think armadillos are in 1.20.1 so I just used that. It works great, but since the combat system is kind of sensitive, I had to disable mob greifing because creepers would explode if I got too close and destroy my farm

I only built one because I'm trying to utilize Apothesis to the max with enchanting. For that you need a lot of xp to contribute and the enchants you get are crazy good. But it takes a bit to get to a high enough level
I know that there's a boss you can kill that legit gives you 100 levels, I wish I utilized that into Apothesis before I died lol
For Sophisticated Backpacks yes. That's not the one MMC5 comes with though

What are the 4 mods in MMC5 that don't support AzureLib 3.1+? Downgradin Hazen just broke some of our player data, and some of us can't even join the server anymore

Follow up question, do we know what exactly caused the issues from Hazen to warrant the downgrade? If they're something that can be avoided then I'd prefer to just do that for my server
I think it's called Lesser Spell Slot Improvement. Well, that's one of them, there are a couple variants, some from T.O Magic iirc.

you can update Hazen to up to 1.3.5, past that requires updating AzureLib

That config doesn't change the length of daytime or nighttime, it's just determining the value used to calculate the length of a season. If you set it to 48000 for example, two day/night cycles will pass before the season moves to the next day, making the season effectively twice as long.

it should be buffed to the max for damage and loot
capturing is just to get the spawn eggs for the spawners :D
With Apotheosis in the game you should be able to add another damage enchantment like Smite. Fire Aspect would be a little extra damage. And Minecolonies adds Raider's Bane or something like that, should be compatible with the other enchants as well.
sad that there is no special enchant just for more damage against bosses :D
You can legit just be a summoner and use minions to help kill bosses, they do more damage than you

there are ways to increase charm slots
You just use irons spells, the blood spells have undead zombie summons, the ender class has books that can shoot explosives at enemies, the emerald class you can summon vexes to assist

hrmm. MMC v29 NEOFORGE doesn't show recipes you can do in the Minecolony buildings in NEI/JEI/Whatever It Is Now anymore. Makes it a bit difficult to plan ahead.

Running mmc4 on bisect. Was trying to find how to turn off dragon griefing for ice and fire but can't seem to find dragon griefing anywhere in the iceandfire configs was wondeirng if it was moved as I haven't used ice and fire in a while, or if it was lumped in with mog griefing in general now

I was just suggesting that to help with bosses, you can also use the staff to boost your stats too
Since some are a pain to deal with and you take more damage than you deal to the boss
I didnt had any problem to kill them and mostly didnt take any damage.

I know that there's one in the nether, he kind of has a pedestal and if you get real close and shoot him, he will start to attack you, he summons fast zombies and zombie villagers to kill you. The other hard one I ran into is the second boss in everdawn. Currently working on him but he does a heap ton of damage
Then theres the undead king where he will put debuffs on you and summon undead zombies and killing him gets you the blood staff

there's the one with skeleton disguised as a cow those guy also drops good exp

naw I used capturing to get a bunch of eggs to swap spawners to have a large mob grinder

inside there's reinforced blaze and incomplete wither spawner
they drop crazy amount of exp
also remember there's a cap to how many exp orbs they can drop even with maxed stats

Yes and keep in mind to increase your difficulty by pressing Z/Y on your keyboard

you can get dragonsteel by either dragon raising and making the forge
or get lucky and get the ingot from smelter bag
The basic settings for apotheosis to open the stage is normally on Z or Y

The only thing it really has is forgotten ingots for the sigil of socketing, and even then warden tendrils are just so much easier

But for dmg
A full Ignis set gives +80% fire, + 40% fire resist, +20% uni. Add on spell book +30%, and add fire weapon (Raven's Bane) +15%. Add Perfect Dragonfire Spessartite to the spellbook for another +25%, Perfect Ballast Gem for another +20% Uni, Perfect Golem's Onyx for another 10% Uni, and that gives you a total of 300% Fire Spell Power, before any flat increases or bonuses from skill trees. Add on the skill trees and it can get pretty damn high. A level 10 Firebolt (basic fire projectile spell) does 10.5 damage. With the above bonuses, that two shots anyone in diamond armour.
Gems work both ways though, you can get some hefty resistances if you pick the right gems
If your main issue is gettin destroyed by magic, you could grab the magehunter armour
+12.5% spell resist per piece
However it does nerf your spell damage by 20% per piece
Perfect Golem's Onyx gives 8% spell resist
which launcher would be good for playing medieval mc mod?

Oh there's also the upgrade orbs, Protection Upgrade gives 5% resist

CurseForge launcher works fine for most people. If you have ATLauncher or Prism, those tend to be more stable though.

Hell yeah it does! You get productive pets called 'colonists' that get resources for you and they even protect your territory from hostile mobs and raiders
Get them high enough and they actually become more efficient at crafting, down to being able to create for example a Redstone comparator from a single nether quartz, stone and Redstone torch
the one caveat is that it DOES take quite a bit of waiting before they get into a properly self-sustaining state
also, their crafting recipes aren't showing up in EMI for we reason.

MMC5 is using Accessories instead of Curios, it's possible that the curios slot doesn't exist in this mod.
They may be called Charms instead of Curios but charm slots don't accept everything only things tagged as charms

Ok the Nausea and teleporting is based on how much Endermen teleport
So if you're fighting Enderman in bad terrain or a certain Dragon is murdering its own inhabitants, then it's going to trigger a lot more
More Enderman also means more teleporting

Yep, make a second hammer to start upgrading your first or find a forge hammer to continue working. You're gonna want to make a lot of hammer upgrades to progress down Tetra.

Then they're probably not teleporting around
Try igniting them on fire or placing water

Ancient knights are a thing in MMC4. You can find one of them in every pyromancer tower from Iron's.
Though you'll get more netherite from the Foundry from WDA.
when i search for ancient knights armor, parts, loot and so on nothing shows up in JEI

Inside it is the line

Magic deals usually more damage than standard weapons, you might want to look into Iron's Spells for that. And for defence Apotheosis is good to enhance your armor with affixes and gems.

Nope. There is a level cap per dimension. The highest you can get is in the End dimension where mobs are capped at level 160 when you go far enough.

Wb. There was no bounty in the entity file, sadly. What you can do though is temporarily moving the lootbeam mod out of your \mods folder. It's only a visual thing, so no item will be lost in the process. Once you joined back and picked up the bounty, you can put the mod back.

In mmc4 is there a way to adjust the blood moon happening rate? As well as the random necromancer spawn?
Blood moon rate can be adjusted in \config\lunar-common.toml
Iron's config doesn't seem to allow adjustment of the necromancer, so you'd have to use the config of ysns instead. In \config\ysns, the per_dimension_entities.json5 file.

i updated to .38 now i cant play with shaders on because the fps goes under 15 in v36.5 the fps was over 90 with shaders

For whatever reason, whenever I fullscreen (MMC4), the game goes hay-wire and flashes every single frame.
and besides this i dont know how to remove mods from the modpack
what launcher you using to run modpack from
curse forge
some mods have graphical features that may interact with shaders
you can do basic thing, open folder of modpack from curseforge, go to modpacks and just delete all mods Muon mentioned
but ehy am i the only one with the problem ? here should be many people who have fps drops at this point ?
or I think there's option from launcher itslef
fps drops may depend on hardware in this situation

i found the shoulder surfing mods in course forge but there is no option to delete or deactivate them
` open the profile options and "unlock" the pack. (if youve never gone in there before its the 3 dot icon on the top right when viewing the mod list)
then in the profile you can click the check boxes to the left of each mod to disable individual mods. `

i restart the game now i deactivated the mods
for info you must activate "allow contetn management" and than you can activate and deactive mods in the modpack by looking in the mod list
i deactivated all 3
restarting needs a little

what ever the devs made there................ its cpu heavy

the devs of this mod uses this high number everywhere

i deactivatet the "highly" advanced camera mods and my fps is up over 100 again with shaders on high
now i cvan go to sleep and tomorrow fix all the config files
