Hmm, Eternal Crystals are from Better End, right? That would effectively lock the Nameless Guardian behind the End access. Or maybe I just suck at fighting, but that dude obliterated my armor and was the sole reason I had to make a new set - this time with Eternal Stellas.

No, not the pink kind. The Nether goblin offers stronger versions of vanilla potions.

If you can edit files in the server directory (like with FileZilla), it works.

Then you could either write down all the files you still remember that you edited them, or make a backup of the entire \configs folder (I assume that's where you made the changes).
Yes, download them to your computer, and then compare them to the base ones from the pack using a tool like Meld
That will show you all file differences, and all lines that you changed
structures where very near each other, mobs where to many, day and night where to short, world spanw was protected and so on
Then it's up to you to remember if you changed that, or mod dev did it

You can turn them into gold ingots iirc (and other geodes can be used to farm their respective ingots). Otherwise they are only for aesthetics.

Hi, I have a problem in my Medieval Minecraft world on NeoForge 1.21.1. A few days after starting a new world, my swords, fists, and tools like the pickaxe and axe won't let me attack mobs. I can't hit them at all. However, I can damage them with the bow. What could be happening? Could it be the best combat mod, or the attack speed boost or heart upgrade mod?

I got a server with bisect hosting, joined, and even from the beginning, I wasnāt able to attack anything. So I had to completely restart that world, and then I could. So my friend and I were playing, and then just now randomly, I stopped being able to attack again

I think I could get the console log for what happens when I attack. Because every time I do, my console sends me all sorts of things.

Hmm, there seems to be quite a lot of errors related to irons_jewelry - do you have anything from that mod equipped currently? Can you try to unequip those and see if it works then?
How do I change the build height on my server?
If you want to lower it for some reason, you can do that in the server.properties file. To increase the build height, you'd need some mod or datapack.
Iām trying to raise it. I tried to put in the mod 2032 World Height, but it didnāt change it. Do you know one that works?
I've never done it, so I can't say if or which mod or datapacks works. Did you create a new world after adding the mod?

Right. I just don't know how the mod works, so testing it in a new world would show if it works at all or not.
@trail stump Uhm, so I used the HigherHeights datapack, and it did increase the build limit. Here I stacked up to Y=500
However, my game crashed when I exited the world, something with Journeymap. Maybe Journeymap has an issue with mapping when there are blocks in heights it doesn't expect.
2032 did not work in a new world unfortunately. Iāll try out higher heights, thank you!

Location is correct, file format is correct, and version is correct. Hmmmm. Granted, I only tested in Singleplayer, not on a server, and v30 is ancient, but I don't think that should make a difference. Did you add the datapack on your client side as well?

That's... strange. I can't test it on a server right now :/ The only thing I can think of is that maybe the server.properties file is overwriting it? Perhaps you could change the max-build-height line there and see if it makes any difference.
I changed the build height in the server.properties file, but it doesnāt change the build height when I load up the world and test it. However, when I reopened that file, it still has the same number I typed in.
Then I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. I might have time later to test it on a server, but no promises.

Hey people, I just tried to play Medieval MC with some of my friends and to be able to do so I tried adding either e4mc or Essential. Both times though I got about the same error. Then I finally read it and saw that it apperently has free built-in hosting. How does that work? We tried to do it via the Share World button which then spit out the port. I then tried joining my friend via their IP Adress: the port but got the error "getsockopt". What does that mean and how could we fix it?

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.
To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.
It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!
We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.
There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

@trail stump I put the datapack on my server now, and it works right away. Which on the one hand is great, but on the other hand leaves me clueless about why it doesn't work for you.

Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.

Your firewall won't just let anyone access your PC (where the server is though), so you need to make an exception for it in your firewall (possibly even the router).

The server-setup video? I don't think so. It depends on your router and your OS, so it's best to look it up on the internet to see what fits your setup.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Sounds ping, but I'm not 100% sure. (they do stuff, but the server take a million years to catch up/notice)

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.
The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.
Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.
If lag persists, run the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50

if the entity was paused due to a ticking error, you'll usually need to kill it
though you may also be able to use the "try resume" from neruina if you still see that
not seeing any new ticking errors in this log

Looking at my collection of spawn eggs, I'd say you are unlucky.
Sorry I'm unsure on how AUTO leveling config works in MMC4. I have a server with friends and I the mobs are hitting level 46, but some of us are casual players and it's getting a little challening. I tried changing max level to 25 in the config but the mobs are still level 46. Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?
The autoleveling config is mostly overwritten by the datapack in \config\paxi\datapacks\mmc_autoleveling
so do i go through each json file to change the max level?
Hmm, if that's too much work you could consider lowering the Attributes bonuses per one level in the autoleveling-common.toml file instead. That part isn't overwritten by the datapack as far as I can tell.
Lowering the attributes won't change the level the mobs have but make them weaker still.
I managed to lower a lot of the mobs levels, however I'm having issues with a few vanilla mobs and the mine colonies one.
specifically zombies, skeletons etc
and for mine colonies: barbarians and chiefs
All of those should be covered by the \config\paxi\datapacks\mmc_autoleveling\data\minecraft\leveling_settings\dimensions\overworld.json file.
If some mobs are not affected for some reason, you can either wait for someone who knows more about it than me, or try the other route instead, with lowering the attributes.
friends and i went to fight the ender dragon and as soon as it spawned we all froze, tick rate got progressively worse till it crashed. anyone else dealt with similar. can't post logs right now, apologies.

I was EXP grinding in my Wither skeleton farm, and one of them bugged, refusing to die or move, and causing excess ticking or something along the lines? now i can't get into my world, and my game crashes to launcher every time i enter the world, and I don't have access to cheats to clear entities, if that would even work

Hello. I plan to start MMC modpack, but I'm not sure which version to use, 3, 4, or 5 etc. I plan to play a magic-focused game. Also, I don't want to experience too many performance issues. MMC5's chunk generation seems slower than MMC4 on my system. Which version would you recommend I choose?

OK so after getting back into the world and going to Lan to get commands, the "try resume" command did not exist
And after that it crashed me to homescreen, so another while until I can actually do anything again
It should appear in chat when you hit the ticking entity.
If you don't get it to work we can use the forge-config instead. Though it would be good to make a backup in that case.
Hello i got a problƩm with medieval Minecraft mm4. Im hosting server with shockbyte 12cores CPU, 12GRAM, storage infinite. My problƩm Is that config (got client site modpack520mods isch) shows bilion of errors what Is Wrong, cloudnt find, cannot generate, structures overlaping .. problem after problem. Our server Is only 1week old And crasing every 2 Hours with out of memory, server can't keep up... With only 1-5 players on server what dont cause any lagmacihnes, only casually walking. Is there solution to fix bambilion of errors, crasing server or giga Lags on end dimension? Or we should host on server site modpack (370mod+-). Sorry for oga-bogga english but u got point

Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.

Why does maledictus sometimes take absolutely no damage and other times I get his hp down to 1/4th with one hit? Is there a mechanic I'm missing?

good morning everyone! Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the spawn location for autoleveling? I'm making a server and want a custom spawn point but dont want the mobs to be insane level at spawn
so are you trying to set a spawn with a custom mob spawn or natural mob spawn?
the mobs ramps up in level depends on each player's world level
just natural mob spawn, i saw earlier someone say that the further you travel from spawn the higher level mobs will be because of the mod autoleveling and we want to find a cool starting place for spawn and start from there. But it could be thousands of blocks before we find a nice spawn spot so i wanted to make sure we dont spawn and mobs are high level as we are level 1
have you tried setting the world spawn at the spawn location?
give it a try on a test world

You throw one of the 12 special eyes to locate the End portal stronghold, like you'd do with ender eyes in vanilla.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

if its of any help, i think right before i got kicked out i removed my hunter belt and that caused me to unequip some other relics as well
Hmm, the logs indicate that it's because of a glow squid.
I've seen that problem before, but as far as I can remember the devs haven't directly addressed it.

Yes. You can make a backup of your world-save (just in case), then go into the save, into \serverconfig, open the forge-server.toml file and set the line
removeErroringEntities = false to true
That way the game should automatically remove the glow squids when you load back into your world next time.

yeah, so one person has joined the project who's solely focused on the 1.20.1 version, including fixing compat with sinytra connector
and even despite the shortcomings of connector, it already works way better than the original forge port
and then the other person who was maintaining the project is still focusing on 1.21.1, but the reason nothing has happened is because they're doing some huge rewrite so it'll be stuck in development hell for like another year lol

I have been enjoying Medieval MC ( Neoforge mmc5) for quite some time wiht no issues. Recently, something happened where I lost a sword that I had made due to some strange bug and after that I cannot seem to do dmg with any kind of melee weapon and when I use my quick cast for Iron's spells my game crashes. I reinstalled the whole modpack and did not change anything. Seems maybe that the problem is from my world. Can anyone help?

It has something to do with your origin. There's a keybind to read your origin's description (I think O is default).
It seems to be a bug with Ace's Spell Utils that they fixed in their latest version. It should work again when you replace the mod in your \mods folder with the newest mod version.
Do I update it through curseforge or though internet?

I have like 48 luck

Yes - but for me - it always seems longer to build than just farm a whole bunch of mob spawners.
I mean
All mobs have a cap of 2477 exp per drop
So it eventually just becomes entities per second
The best spawners aren't even fully craftable but must be found and upgraded
But with the lvl mod for Mobs, mobs in the end drop MORE xp. MAybe you can even use Spawners in there to have those mobs drop more xp?

They have a limit? Never knew that, I always level so fast with an enderman farm (not this season of my playthrough but last one)
Apotheosis really takes xp and just makes it a progression cap to upgrade over time
Tbf with that amount it only takes like 13 entities to go from level 0 to 100 which is more than enough experience for most operations
Currently the worst amount is 600
And not really even, really it's 200
Well I already was level 300 and I never actually ACTIVELY farmed xp. I have auto XP and somehow I farmed a lot of XP while in the nether. š

Modding has always been interesting
I've never really messed with actual Java itself but I've worked with other resources like datapacks and KubeJS a bunch, and I don't mind the thought of more of vanilla's resources being data driven.
I've always been intrigued by the idea of combining a bunch of mods and merging their base content additions with integration to create a truly unique product
One of the things that I hope that will be possible after this change: Better optimization. The problem with minecraft is... It's absolutely ineffecient. I hope it is possible to change the code in a way that makes it way way more performant.
Also adding the possibility of Villagers or other modded creatures build while you are away.
So we can get an actual threat.

I've always been intrigued by the idea of a medieval modpack where the world around you evolves.
Right now we only have the MineColony mod that does that in a way if players are online and helping their villagers.
But I want them to work for their own. You are traveling afar and find another village from that mod and you need to make relation or even war.
I want something like that for AGES.
Or make the forgotten cities ACTUALLY a thread that evolves. Make them spread out while killing other entities and eventually coming to attack your base so youi need to build some kind of defense or hire villagers to fight for you.
Make a Faction system - You can become an Illager Player yourself and helping Illagers instead of the villagers.
So many ideas held back by Minecrafts poorly optimazation AND not being able to do stuff while you are away.
One of the biggest things about mods is the fact that by default they don't really integrate well with each other. It's why you see so much content in the vanilla dimensions but any modded dimensions is more or less the same every time.

Well Medieval Minecraft adds interesting dimensions. I really like the Dimension mods they have in there - Aether (while this mod needs updates...), Twillight Forest adding a unique dimension with progress in mind and a really cool Ghast Boss fight, The underground mod that adds the new dimension with rothlings and such is also very interesting although it lacks somewhat content.
I really like those.
But they need to be fleshed out more.
I really like the Broken Scripts idea of adding events into the game - While I also like Horror, I also think such an event system would be interesting for other type of mods.
Each passing day there is a value that gets randomized, and there can be certain events happen that will change something about the world or just add enemies into the game or something like that.
Voices of The Void has really interesting events - Although completely different than Minecraft in Gameplay - An Event system would be VERY interesting.

Tbf Apotheosis does a lot of the heavy lifting here with the whole adventure system and affix loot entries (what allows modded gear to spawn in chests all over the world)
I've been trying to have my latest recipes include items from other dimensions to incentive exploring them. Like Enchanting Library requires Aether materials, Augmenting Table requires Twilight Forest and Undergarden materials, etc.
Only so much I can do based on the dimension and how much content it adds but it's still there
I would really see everything Enchanting thingies have to be made out of Aether stuff.
That's a great Idea - Hiding mechanics behind the Dimensions.
Nether adds the possibility for Potions, Aether the possibility of Enchanting and other magic things... Although the Aether dimension is really bland right now...
Maybe adding a modder to make the Aether WAY more full of stuff and adding resources there?
I've been adding Alex's Caves items to multiple things too, so the Library requires the Magnetic Caves, Aquatic Filtration shelf requires the Abyssal Chasms, Augmenting Table requires the Candy Cavity
Nothing that's so much a necessary item that you're desperately going to need so much as a "explore and unlock new possibilities to improve your power slightly"
Obviously items like the Reforging Table wouldn't work for this, just the items with unique capabilities
Those that you can survive comfortably without it but investing into it pays off

Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

If you can't hit anything on MMC5 it's most likely because you equipped something from irons_jewelry. That's at least what solved it for all the other people so far, no idea why you're supposed to change the launcher before checking that.
And you can remove mods as long as they are not required dependencies by another mod. If the server owner removed some mod, you need to of course remove it too in order to join the server.

The demons are a bit challenging if you don't go in prepared but with the rest of the Nether being a pushover and the utility you can acquire with magic mods it's really not a problem
As long as you just stayed powered up with the potential that dimensions give you you shouldn't really struggle at all in this modpack

As someone who plays MMC4, I'm saying this modpack needs a proper update. I wouldn't recommend anyone start it.
I lost some of my recent progress because the server didn't shut down properly. The reason is pack default have https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/foolproof 1.0.1 but its broken. You need to update to version 1.0.4

you can make a backup if you please just by copying your saves folder before updating

i modified a skyblock pack once by adding mods to it on my personal instance thats the extent of deving i've done

Hey, Iāve run into an issue and Iām not sure if itās related to the game or the modpack, so I decided to ask here.
Game version: Medieval MC [NEOFORGE] 1.21.1 v27
Launcher: ATLauncher
Recent changes: Fresh install (only my save was added)
Normally, I play at around 120ā130 FPS, sometimes dropping to about 50 in heavier areas. I usually play in borderless mode.
However, I noticed something strange ā if I open the NVIDIA Control Panel and change the scaling mode from GPU to Display, then switch the game to Fullscreen and apply the settings, go back to the Control Panel and change scaling back to GPU, and finally return to the game and set it back to Borderless, my FPS suddenly jumps to around 170ā180, with drops only to 90ā100 FPS.
Itās worth mentioning that this only works if I do it after loading into a world. Doing it in the main menu or before joining doesnāt make any difference, and the FPS boost disappears if I reload or leave the world.
Also, it doesnāt seem to depend on which display modes I switch between ā the effect happens as long as I change between any two modes (Fullscreen, Borderless, or Windowed) while toggling the scaling mode in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
Does anyone know what could be causing this behavior?

I asked ChatGPT about it tho ā according to what it said, this might be some kind of driver-level OpenGL context resync. Basically, when I change the NVIDIA scaling mode and switch display modes while already in a loaded world, it apparently forces the GPU driver and Minecraftās OpenGL framebuffer to rebuild their connection.
It described it as a sort of āsoft resetā of the rendering pipeline that clears out frame-buffer latency or timing issues between the Java-based renderer (LWJGL) and the GPU driver. That would explain why it only works once Iām already in-world (since thatās when the main rendering context is active) and why it goes away after reloading, because the framebuffer gets recreated.
So, not really a normal display mode thing ā more like an accidental GPU-driver handshake refresh that temporarily boosts performance.

You can get unbreakable charms anyways and many potion effects at a massively scaled amplifier permanently and constantly being reapplied would wreck havoc on balance

Hello, I installed the modpack a week ago, was playing fine until today the Modrinth app stopped launching the game correctly, quoting no NeoForge launcher was selected. Later today the error message changed saying there was no 1.21.1 Jar available. After that I repaired the installation, while it starts loading again, it crashes as you can see. Any help is GREATLY appreciated as I was having TONS of fun.

Currently LPS packs are not being updated on the Modrinth site, and as such are outdated. This is while the devs figure out a way to automate uploads of the pack properly.
Until the packs can be properly updated, we recommend using ATL (use !alternates in #bots for further info on the installation process ) or Prism launcher. You can download the CurseForge version of our packs on these launchers while still being able to make instances from Modrinth versions of other packs not owned by us.
Please note this does not apply to individual mod projects of developers at LPS.

It's a Vault from vanilla Minecraft. Specifically one from an Infested Temple from When Dungeons Arise.
You need to defeat waves of mobs from spawners from the dungeon until they drop keys, which can then be used to open the vaults.
yeah i was trying to find the block name so i'd know which structure it is
i think WDA uses vaults for more than the infested temple
not 100% sure
apparently updating to magic and extras to v5.6.2 fixes this but itās a trade off because it removes augments and also the mowzies mob items were removed (needs a different add on now)

Make sure the mobGriefing gamerule is set to true and that the land is not claimed.
Place the dragon right in front of the forge. It should automatically breathe into it when there are the correct items inside it (mine does at least). Otherwise use the keybind to make it breathe.
I did that and nothing. I heard that sometime having a young stage 1 dragon close bugs the thing. Could this be why?
I didn't know stage 1 dragons can power the forge at all. I'd feed him some dragon meals to get him to stage 2 at least.

will there ever be a quest overhaul on this pack ? iāve always enjoyed the pack but my two biggest gripes have been quests and balance. Feels like the quest have always been a weak point and itās pretty easy to miss a lot of mods. for a mod pack centered around medieval/mythological times it would make sense

That might be vanilla Minecraft kicking in. Maybe try looking through the Minecraft settings and see if you can find it?

Currently LPS packs are not being updated on the Modrinth site, and as such are outdated. This is while the devs figure out a way to automate uploads of the pack properly.
Until the packs can be properly updated, we recommend using ATL (use !alternates in #bots for further info on the installation process ) or Prism launcher. You can download the CurseForge version of our packs on these launchers while still being able to make instances from Modrinth versions of other packs not owned by us.
Please note this does not apply to individual mod projects of developers at LPS.

or if you are playing MMC4 there's item you can make to locate it

My friends and I are looking to fire up a minecraft server again, previously we put alot of time into MMC4 and I'm kind of gravitating that way, but is there somewhere that lays out the differences between MMC4 and 5? I was a big fan of how much MMC4 had and still had like 98% custom textures and shaders

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
hi everyone! whats the best way to level up mis/later game? it seems xp is harder and harder to get around level 60 or so it seems exponential getting to 150 feels like theres got to be another way to level up.
You can silk touch spawners and upgrade them with Apotheosis (press U while hovering over a spawner in your inventory). When you then use a weapon with Looting, Scavenger and Knowledge of the Ages, getting XP is not a problem at all.

how do i get knowledge of the ages enchantment?
From the enchanting table, trading with villagers or on random gear in loot chests. It might be a treasure enchantment, in that case you need a Shelf of Arcane Treasures in your enchantment table setup.
