Since you're playing cold/fire dmg, your dmg will mostly rely on rerolling apotheosis to get +4-5 cold/fire dmg. The thing that gives you the highest dps out of a weapon's stats is probably speed attack

I am trying to obtain some blaze rods from a Blaze contained in a jar with a Drygmy from the Ars Nouveau mod. Is there a chance that blaze rods are NOT obtainable this way in MMC4 26.5HF? I've got a cow, chicken and a sheep also in jars and have received a ton of meat, leather, feathers, and wool, but not a single blaze rod.

In a message thread regarding High Elf magical damage not increasing with a user named Willow, you stated the above. I'm using Ars Nouveau as my only magic in MMC4 26.5HF and can verify that switching from Human using a Projectile:Harm:Amplify:Amplify spell to High Elf, showed no change at all on the Target Dummy. I did 11 points damage with a Level 2 spell book as a Human and then after switching Origin to High Elf, I did the same amount. Did you ever get a chance to look into any possible changes? I'll likely switch back to Human as using High Elf for increased magic damage doesn't seem to be working as intended and the trade-offs in Physical and Damage aren't worth it without being a heavy hitter magically.

Hi, I have a problem with modpack. When I'm entering the world, my accessories, artifacts, backpack etc gets removed. The same thing happens with skills from passive skill tree. Nothing else is changing (advancements remain the same etc and my normal inventory is full). I've added the tool belt mod to the modpack, however it worked normally previously. It happend to me second time in a row and I don't know what to do :c

Best XP Farm strategy for late game: Set up a farm of Reinforced blazes ( or any mob that you have that gives lots of experience or mob drops ) and make the spawnerā€™s have No AI, then max out the spawn cap ( using ghost tears in the spawner ) and spawn count ( using fermented spider eyes ) as well as the min and max spawn delay ( sugar and clocks ). Then, get a weapon and enchant it with Knowledge of the ages 3 ( in my case I used the Celestisynth Breezebreaker ) and reforge it to get loot piƱata and mob drops teleport to you, then input the Perfect Splendor gem, preferably with the skill tree section in the image below, then make a helmet and insert a Perfect Jewel of the safari and a perfect jade. Then, make a potion of Ancient knowledge 2 ( if you can, try getting the alchemist skill tree section for increased effect length and strength ) then kill as many mobs as you can! ( I recommend using the Breezebreaker as the Shift-right click move is very useful for large AOE damage ) Then look for an Emerald Stoneplate Ring and wear it, then get the Tome of Peritia form blood magic and keep it somewhere in your inventory, then go crazy on those blazes! ( if you can find a mob that drops more XP and can be spawned via spawner, please do tell! )

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Those were the crashes in the first days of playing the game, I couldn't find them anymore cuz the reinstall . But you or someone else has already seen it. The problem of having too many items like a farm. H Or crash immediately when trying to enter the game without crashing. It only resolved when I turned it up to 10

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

Hello, I've got an issue with "resources could not be loaded". I play v25 , with some extra mods.
Once I enter the main menu, It shows up in the top right corner: Failed to load resources.

I usually disable a lot of datapacks like stoneborn and excalibur because I don't need them.

Also I use Tlauncher to run the modpack.

Any ideas?

MMC4 so there's this issue where if you use a lava immune class such as incubus or blazeborn and have some amount of skill points invested in blocking, your shield will start blocking lava damage (even tho your immuned) every single game tick and destroys it's durability. It's very annoying if you want to use shield in combination with lava so if anyone could find a fix or some line to change in the Json file i'd be very grateful.

Howdy so i was playing on the newest version of the modpack on a server with some friends and i have a question regarding some of the stuff because we've found some issues and some stuff just feels off

like for example i was fighting the nether gauntlet alone and i've fought it plenty of times before from plenty of other modpacks and uhh for whatever reason in this pack whenever it hits my with its laser ability it instantly breaks all armor, is that intentional?

Also i was essentially playing an archer class and i found a cool looking bow i could craft with a mod that i think added celestial weapons or something. I crafted the bow and it instantly disappeared from my inventory which makes me think its disabled but the recipe isnt actually disabled which is confusing to me.

Am playing the 26.5HF version and was wondering how much, if in any way, would it break things if I removed several or all of the non-Ars Nouveau magic mods such as Ironā€™s Spells and Spellbooks, etc. We are trying to focus primarily on Ars Nouveau and hoping to improve performance by slimming the pack down a bit.

Not sure that itā€™s performance related, but my wife gets the server disconnection error about every 30-45 minutes on a home LAN network connected via WiFi. We have played smaller mod packs with about 100-150 mods and this never happened before.

I host the server on my computer and run my instance as well. Using ATLauncher for the server and instance launch on my end. Iā€™ve allocated 9021MB as directed by whatever mod checks RAM on startup. Server gets the same. I have 32Gig of RAM.

Hey for anyone searching how to get rid of snow, from snow real magic! I was able to alleviate a lot of accumulation by changing the value of maxLayers in the snowrealmagic-common.yaml from 8 to 2. For some reason when it hit 8 layers or a "block" it just never melted.

I wanted to add Ars Elemental and Ars Additions to the modpack. I'm using ATLauncher and it was trivial to add them client-side using the add mod button. Similar to how I used to add mods for client and server on my own server (before switching to ATLauncher) I opened the Instance folder and the Server folder and just copied the two files from the Instance folder to the Server folder. When trying to launch the server, it consistently crashed trying to load Ars Elemental. No problem with Ars Additions. Is there a better way to have done this? I wound up deleting the files for Ars Elemental from the instance and server folders and could then launch the server with Ars Additions added. Didn't run into any problems like this when I added Lootr mod to the instance and server folder.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

We found a game breaking bug:

The Frost Robe from RAM-Compat is causing ticking issues on the player when its worn

  1. Does mob level increase over time in game or distance from spawn?

Hi guys, I have a small issue that i want to tackle. I'm hosting a medieval mc 1.16.5 server on my own pc, but i want to version hop the server to 1.20 while keeping/most of the original data. For the majority of devs this is a hobby, asking when a project they're working on will release adds unnecessary pressure. The only thing that increased pressure does is contribute towards demotivation and burnout, causing the project to take longer.

If there is no crash report, navigate to the logs folder and upload "latest.log."
If there is no log, navigate to the base pack directory and upload the hs_err_pid file, if there is one.

Iā€™m having an issue changing launchers from forge to Atlauncher. Iā€™m getting stuck where you have to download the mod pack to Atlauncher from forge. It canā€™t download the ā€œfire and iceā€ mod for version 1.16. And I canā€™t download it manually because the link for fire and ice seems to be broken.

Is anyone else having an issue like this or know a work around to this ?

Just a word of warning to everyone who is in the Aether; do NOT use the treechop mod with ANY Ancient Aether logs as it'll cause a stack overflow and crash upon joining/loading into your world/server.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

I can't seem to boot up the mod. My Java is updated, and I have provided >8 GB of ram for the mod, but when I click play on the Minecraft screen (after Curseforge has opened it up), Once it speeds through finalizing it says it just crashes with Exit Code 1. Has this happened to anybody else?

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

If you can not launch your server/game after using these flags, then remove the word java from the start. Also, make sure you are using Java 18 on 1.18.2 / 1.19.2 and Java 11 on 1.16.5. These should be downloaded from Adoptium's website.

What is Prominence?

Prominence aims to provide content for everyone, whether it's magic, tech, combat, building, you will not miss out on it. With balance and performance always being top priority.

Differences (Forge vs Fabric, 1 vs 2)

FORGE Forge has a focus on the core of the modpack: Balance with content for everyone. Including community favorite mods such as Alex's Caves, Alex's Mobs, Minecolonies, Aether, etc. Prodiving a classic modded minecraft experience, rich on content, and for everyone.

FABRIC Fabric has the same focus on balance and content for everyone, but adds on top its own RPG-like endgame. With unique custom content such as artifacts, end game bosses, a story campaign and more. It also features public official servers called realms.

Prominence Prominence I is on 1.19.2. It no longer recieves content updates and only stability updates.

prominence_II Prominence II is on 1.20.1. It recieves weekly updates with new content and more custom content.

TL;DR

If you are looking for a unique experience with a lot of content and balance in mind, Prominence is for you.

If you like RPG content, go for its Fabric version. If you prefer more of a classic modded mc experience, then go for Forge.
