Theres enchants like Warmin/Cooling that change the temp for you. Theres potions like Heat/Cold resistance. You can also stand near torches (many) /fires to warm up.

I've found that the mod's temp system sort of just sucks though, super unbalanced. My server folks and I just voted to disable it and thats what we did as I was still getting Hyperthermia with the best set of armor against the heat, Heat II pots, and Warming VI enchants lol

Theres not enough in the config, in my opinion, to cutomize the intensity either. So ultimately we decided to just turn of the temperature side of the mod.

We're playing on a server, so it was in my configs, there was a "Survive Configs" folder with lots of true/false options for Temp/Thirst/Stamina etc.

Mmm you might have to make a team with the scoreboard command (default MC stuff?) then just disable PvP among that? I'm not sure if theres another way to do that on a LAN run world

So, in the forge version of this modpack for 1.92.2, there are a series of apotheosis gems that boost the power of their respective spell schools when slotted into equipment. I've attached a screenshot of JEI results for "flawless" and highlighted the fire school gem as an example
in the 1.20.1 version of this modpack, MMC4, these gems appear to be missing
with only the spell resistance one left
I'd like to confirm with someone if this is an intentional modification by the modpack developer
or if it's an issue on my end
I've tried redownloading the modpack, and looking into the .jar files of iron spells and spellbooks + apotheosis, and all the files seem to be there
I've also tried looking into the changelogs for MMC4 as well but I didn't find anything that mentioned these particular gems

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

eventually yes, ideally you would need some gems to help you out, stuff like overheal and maybe lifesteal if that exists, hope you have prot VII on every single piece

So we run our server off of a hand me down pc after someone upgraded to a new one. we're finding that our server can run fine with about 5 people for a few hours but when we get back on to it later, especially overnight, it runs so far behind and breaking a block takes 10 seconds.
Is this indicitive of a memory leak? the PC has 8gb of ram and we gave the server access to all of it. is that the problem? maybe windows itself doesnt have enough ram? because when we go to reset the server, the entire PC runs that slow. trying to close the powershell prompt takes 20 seconds. usually restarting the whole pc fixes it and the server runs fine again for a time

Does anyone know if the Magnificent Mansion Caster Tome is causing issues, seems like it is the only reason to why my overworld main area causing players to be stuck in place looping until being timed out. Places like the Twilight area or any portal areas are not effected. Being far away from the suspected lagging area does reduce the issue but not that well.

Prior to that we've had 10+ players online and whenever any one player enters Twighlight it caused delayed block destruction, delayed pickup, etc.

nah, it's only been 6-7 days at most. They are pretty good to me. They even changed the Command Lines on their side so I could optimize the server. They also increased the max player count from 20 to 100 free-of-charge. Their support is pretty cool.

Everyone loves it! Only thing I had to do is disable Phantom Origin cuz there's no Obsidian Doors to keep players safe in their own territories.
And disable the Uncrafting Table from the Twighlight Forest Mod (cuz players were cheesing it)
Lodestones apparently were giving Netheryte Bars or something and Origin Stones were giving like 3x Netheryte + 1x Netheryte Star
Other than that, it's really fun! I play Elytrian or something like that and with the magic spells you can infinitely glide around the map
It's like a wing-suit 😛

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!
Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.
Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)
You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.
IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

I moved server machines today and had to transfer everything. When I relaunched the server I forgot to install Chunky (not sure if that broke something or not, it's reinstalled now).
Are the Aether map files located in world/dimensions/aether/the_aether/region?
Is that all I need to delete? Or is there something in the DIM-1/regions folder I need to delete also?
Where do the Chunky files or map data save? (I tried looking at their wiki but couldnt figure it out. Want to delete and pregenerated stuff and just regen it if possible)

Why are the mobs in the overworld level up so slow? I feel too OP with my current gear and would like more challenge especially with my city guards all geared up and I kinda want to be invaded by stronger mobs and see how my soldiers do

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.
To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.
To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

I think it was patched latest update because people were accidently doing that without realising and losing their backpacks
so I think only way to place on ground is to take it off and right click on floor with it in your hand

I had issues with the Temparature system and the Energy/Stamina system. Even tried tweaking them but still had issues.
I just went into my config/Survival Configs folder and edited teh temperature-common.toml and stamina-common.toml and set the:

I've been running a server for just myself to reduce the strain on my system. The modpack is getting very out of hand on the memory requirements it started out just fine at 8 gigs of ram for the server and now its all the way up to 18 gigs for just one player with only 5 chunks loaded

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

If you can not launch your server/game after using these flags, then remove the word java from the start. Also, make sure you are using Java 18 on 1.18.2 / 1.19.2 and Java 11 on 1.16.5. These should be downloaded from Adoptium's website.
