Hey all! Question -

I have a hosting service I use, and they were assisting me with some issues I was having while installing my server with the latest release of MMC4 v16.

Apparently the forge version they have was conflicting with only one mod?
They sent me this basically in the support ticket I had with them.

Any suggestions? Would removing that mess things up or downgrading have any impact on how the pack plays etc? I haven't actually touched the pack so I wanted to ask lol

Apparently they currently only have up to Forge 1.20.1 47.1.46 and not the 1.20.1 - 47.2 which villages-pillages wants.

My server just started crashing last night and I'm unable to enter the nether anymore without the server dying. I'm using the 1.18.2 medieval forge minecraft on the bisecthosting and have tried reinstalling the jar pack, but I keep getting the same NPE. Any suggestions?

Never mind, I ended up wiping the DIM-1 entities folder and rebooting and that fixed the issue

Will leave that stacktrace there just in case anyone else runs into a null pointer exception with the dungeon libraries modpack

I'm trying out an MMC4 server v15 and it seems anything that breaks more than one block at a time is broken. Have tried the pickaxe reforge, vein mining enchant and ars nouveau break spell. Nothing works. I don't fully understand the config, is there some kind of conflict or an incorrect setting that I can fix on my end? Or do I have to wait for an update?

You (likely) need to update your graphics drivers in order to resolve the crash. Here's how to go about doing that!

Dont know if this is a feature or a visual bug, but building blocks (and sometimes the Ars item) are transparent within the hotbar when placed to the left of the Ars item. Any ideas?
(if you know what causes the xp number to do that too that would be great)

Hey guys im checking out this modpack in 1.20.1 and found a little issue im trying to sort out. Playing a human and randomly taking damage for no reason. Now im pretty sure it has to be due to heat cold but i get no overheated status effect and no hypothermia effect. I took the time to make wool armor etc and equiped it but same thing (I have seen the hypothermia effect before and wool armor counteracted it)

if you download the MMC4 v16 server pack, there’s a datapack in /config/paxi/datapacks called “mmc_apotheosis” which you can also use on an MMC3 server

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

There's more people mentioning it, essentially you can't get Dirt from Dirt Paths, the type you find in villages, having been spawned or created with a shovel. You break the block and nothing drops. Seems to be an issue both in MedievalMC and BetterMC4, the Forge versions

Hi, I'm having problems with the MMC4 v15-17. I've been trying veinmining and forging tool mining like 3x3. As well as Ars Nouveau spell mining, felling trees, and effects like linger and aoe. It is basically impossible to effect more than one block at a time.

1. I've tried this on a multiplayer server and single player. A couple configuration changes on the server, but nothing on single player.
2. I am using Prism launcher.
3. 1.20.1
4. I've tried this on v15-17
5. Just play the game as normal and get vein mining, as well as spell glyphs.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

I am playing a server with my friends on MMC3 and we're having issues with damage, the mobs just take an insane amount of hits to kill (50+ for a level 16 skeleton) and kill us really quickly even with armor and stuff, even on Easy difficulty. You (likely) need to update your graphics drivers in order to resolve the crash. Here's how to go about doing that!

1. Identify your graphics card

• Press the GPU 0 graph and read your GPU from the top right

Note:

I keep trying to start the server with /usr/lib/jvm/jdk-1.8-oracle-aarch64/bin/java -Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true -Xmx8G -Xms8G -jar forge.jar nogui instead of the start script, because the state of my server is controlled with systemd. The server starts up, and seemingly stops responding after throwing a couple errors: Couldn't parse data file minecraft:<itemName> from minecraft:recipes/<itemName>.json. Any ideas what might cause this?

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod causes world corruption and other issues, and is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

I'm not sure what's preventing my server from launching correctly, but I've wiped the slate clean and have redeployed it clean from the ZIP file. I updated variables.txt with -Xmx8G and -Xms8G as the arguments, and the java path with /usr/lib/jvm/jdk-1.8-oracle-aarch64/bin/java. The server starts up, and then the console immediately hangs indefinitely once it gets to the point shown in the attached logs. Is there anyone who knows how to fix this?

Hello I have a question i hope someone can help me with. out in the field i could look at a tree and the game would tell me what kind it was and what i need to harvest an item. i dont know what i hit but now is gives me no info about anything minerals plants or anything

I still haven't tried updating Moonlight Lib yet, but it appears that EVERY type of "Map" crashes my players if they pick them up now lol. Default vanilla, treasure, twlight forest, tavern, etc.

I'll try in the morning and see if theres an update for the mod and maybe see if that helps xD
