There's the mc version, and then a modpack version, I just tested the latest release of the modpack, v51.

Lets get this sorted out first. Look at the top of the screen of the file explorer when in the serverpack folder, the one you downloaded from CF. What does it say? For example, I got the v51 so it says BMC... v51

The reason being is that if you are missing mods, sounds like your serverpack download went wrong

and well, I just tested v51 so if that's what you are using then it really did go wrong

Either that or you didn't copy over all the mods from the serverpack download

Just started up a server using the Better Minecraft [PLUS] modpack. Everything seems to finally be working fine, except one fairly large issue... - every given person can only join once until the 2nd time is given an error... is this a typical problem or do i need to provide more information?

I'm trying to setup a server for BetterMinecraft 1.18.1 on Forge, but the server has an error that looks like it has to do with Naturescompass not having a permission? Anyone know what this is?

That's a bug between the latest version of forge and the natures compass mod. You can either remove it, or redo the setup on Forge 39.0.6. I've tested both ways and both get the server to launch, so should work for either choice

Hello! Been playing Better Minecraft forge 1.17.1 for a few weeks. After a few days of exploration I was hoping to see some structures, but the only ones I'm coming across so far are the towers with the underground tunnels with spawners. also since im here, I have seen a thing before that said Better Minecraft is basically for people newer to modded minecraft, better minecraft plus for "experienced modded mc players", and medievel for like lots of experience

but I have played BMCP and it is just so heavy for my computer

BMCP just has tinkers and tetra which are 2 things that conflict each other since they both do the same thing and are the only things that don't make sense

so I dont really get the whole "Experienced" crap

The other day I found a "tower dungeon" (kinda purple-tealish one) with a lot of piglins and skeletons inside. My problem is that I cannot even look towards this tower, because if i do - i got a slideshow. What is strange, my CPU usage even drops at this moment to something like 3% at one core (ryzen 1600x, 16gb 3200Mhz RAM.)

Yeah, It'll be the java.exe and javaw.exe that you used in your java installation which should be located in the C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_291\bin folder or something similar, I think you have the same java tho. Make sure those are allowed at least according to one guide.

the only thing I can suggest is to make sure the mods are compatible and then do some trial-and-error testing

Like, start off with 10 mods, and slowly remove the biggest ones until it starts working
