Yes to all of the above, 1.16 version is largely bug free and having played some Of this pack with it today it seems to run fine. The best part is that it’s almost completely optional, it shouldn’t get in the way of anything already in the pack and the other mods around it should make minecolonies more interesting

umm its called a Capsling and its from Hyperion. Checking the mod page and it seems like you feed them basalt to get some stuff back (which are then used to create those cool arrows)

Hmm might have to have a look into that because gunpowder is a big yes pls... tho you can craft it too with smth like sulphur, coal varients and smth else (i wanna say bonemeal? but i can’t remember rn lol)... also you can buy from goblin trader 2 for 1 emerald up to 32 emeralds worth (64 gunpowder) and you can get it from wandering trader sometimes... or make a ghast farm/ general overworld mob farm.. etc

Well in overworld there is the foundry you can raid (bit dangerous because aggro piglins & blaze spawners) but take fire resistance and destroy the spawners and you’ll be good - most chests have scrap in them and theres ancient debris everywhere- i’ve not had to mine for it once and got loads of ingots! Enough for full armor&# twice! Also nether structures often have it too

best gear is from the abyss which is why its gated behind quests. enchants is really up to you theres no clear winner. best way to find dungeons is cartographer maps but look for shiraz palace in desert biomes. that thing pays out big time if you spend the time finding all the hidden stuff

Hey guys, got a question wen it comes to pre generate a better mc server, i have done accordingly to the video post by sharkie on the overworld, the question is: should i do the same task such as set up a world border and do a fast_gen_chek like overworld on the other dimensions? or pre generate less or not touch it at all? like pre generate the end and the moded dimensions, got quite few friends that will play on my server. hope my question is not to complicated 🌟

Hey is there anyone here that can help walk me and my roomate through setting up a server with the Better Minecraft (Forge) Modpack for 1.17.1? this is kind of uncharted territory for us

I have a genuine question, i have messed with all the settings (changing them or turning them all to the lowest) i have tried optifine, and even tried changing out resource packs. I have a consistent fps drop with Better Minecraft FORGE 1.16.5, an issue i have never encountered with any other modpack. (just finished messing around with MC Eternal for a few weeks with no issues) Does anyone know what it could possibly be? It isn't a memory issue, or not enough RAM, and it isn't the minecraft 1.16.5 version.

I have a serious issue with cartographers on my server. Turning a villager into one freezes the server for several seconds, I assume as they try finding structures. I am pregenerating the world further in an attempt to prevent this, but does anyone know of a fix for the core issue?

youd have to do some /locate checking i guess

It's not a fix though, since if someone goes exploring beyond our pregen radius and they trade with a cartographer there, it'd try finding all new structures

Unless anyone knows of a mod or config setting that could help with this, the only true fix I know of would be setting the world border, which I don't want to do if I can avoid it

It's still there, I've tested. The rider has the loot table of one of the other mobs, but loot table doesn't affect equipment drop rates. I ended up using a datapack to exchange the spawner for one with modified armor drop chances

You can pick up the spawners and move them somewhere they physically can't spawn while you set up a farm
