I have been playing for a couple weeks now and I have noticed that the Mob spawn rates seem very low. I have been in Overworld caves, Nether caves, and the Surface of The Overworld and Nether and it almost feels like i'm in Peaceful. Something I found very Strange was, as I was headed towards a Nether Fortress to farm Wither heads, I found that there was no mobs to be found. No Blaze, Wither Skeletons, or Zombie Pigmen. Even more strange, I have found out that turning your render distance down causes a heaping amount of all types of Mobs to spawn around Me. Does Anybody have any idea what may be causing the Spawn rates of Mobs to be so low.

@fair fiber @steel breach yeah many spawns and spawn rates were fiddled with in this pack hence others and myself included can't get for example creeperfarms to work my advice try different aquaticbiomes for your farm until guides come out or it might be addressed in a fix

@fiery horizon depends on how much ram you have given to the mod. Too high (8gb) can also throttle performance and low (3gb) doesn't need explaining. Sometimes restarting the mod might help it or in my case I get great frames 1 day and stutter every 5 secs the next day it's a rather big pack for old Java minecraft

There is something wrong with raids. I did around 7 waves and decided to log off, and do some more waves of the raid later, and when I loaded the world back in, the raid was declared a defeat despite there still being a villager and bed left.

any stews or soups that come from the farmers pot do that

fishing is your friend as well. You can chop up most fish into at least 1-10 fillets

If you want to move Villagers you can carry the baby villagers with the carry bind, easy to get a couple back to your base to breed them. Im told you can carry spawners.

The sophisticated backpack mod is amazing, they can be placed on the ground and hooked up to hoppers, plenty of upgrades for them too.
