I run a pack similar to the Plus but no optifine with 100+ frames, 16 render distance, with 12gb ram allocated on an older Ryzen5 2600

Yea i personanlly don't see the benefits with using OptiFine as a rendering engine as in my experience it's just cause more issues

if you're playing solo I'd suggest taking out performant & try sodium reforged - but most servers run performant so you won't be able to connect

But If you want shaders OptiFine is still the way to go - i just know G8 causes a crash with the recent forge versions

Hi, I joined this server to ask a question about this modpack that I couldn't fine answers for anywhere. I started playing and found this well, that when walking up to it a got a achievement simply called "Jump". When I went in at the bottom this mist granted me Resistance for about 2 minutes. I just built a brazier for the first time on a server running v28. I used it to get a soul torch and stood around for 10ish seconds waiting to see the outline, but instead I got kicked with a stackoverflow error. Now it looks like the server is down. question i am runing v30 and when holding a mending enxhanted weapon or armor i am still geting xp and the armor is getting less to repair but still repiaring.if the durability of all your armor is full but not the tool. the exp is still divided between the armor and the tool like if they were broken but instead of repairing the amror i get xp

Any tips on how to make this modpack run more smoothly on servers? Running a 12 gig bisect server with no more than 3 to 4 people on at a time. Never had a server before so I’m not sure what settings to tweak to minimize lag as much as possible.

Also whatever mod makes it so only half of those online need to sleep seems to only work sometimes lol

I tried installing this forge version onto a server and the way I did it was Install forge on my server first of all. Then I opened up curseforge and opened the file directory of better minecraft, Opened the "mods" folder and dragged everything in that folder into the mods folder I had on my server, tried restarting the server and it kept crashing

One of my players just logged into our Better Minecraft OTV server and it was said that version is being discontinued and changed to 1.17 Forge.

Weird - when I seem to enchant from the table, I can't seem to add more than one more vanilla, but if I find something with any number of mods on it, I can add a buncg

I guess if you're OP you can just /enchant it on manually to get around the limitation.. or are you saying that's what you're trying and it's giving you red flavor text and an error?

I was having similar issues where the /enchant command wouldn't allow me to add a higher level than III to many items, saying it's not supported above that tier for that type of gear, even though it exists on other discovered gear organically in game

Yeah, I get not wanting to cheat it, I wonder if it's because you've combined vanilla enchants with mod enchants into a single book

Can you test it by "cheating" a book without Sweeping Edge III and see if it will work?
