You can open a ticket and explain it, if it's because you can't set up a server properly trough a server host that isn't bisect then I probs won't help but who knows

The issue is that when I made my server using the server pack other people on my network can join fine and the server runs smoothy but when anybody outside of my network tries to join through the same IP it gives a long error and cannot connect. I tried to host using hamachi as well but still the same error comes up.

That's just port forwarding and not an issue with the pack, hundreds of people play with their friends like that and people who don't know how to port forward will have that issue and this is why people get server hosts

Is Diamond/general ore generation intentionally buffed in this mod pack? After feeling like I was swimming in ore with minimal time investment, I loaded up an x-ray pack and found this:

Yeah probably just because it’s a mod so it would treat the deep stale ores as it own set of ores but has the same set drop

I fixed mine with lowering the render distance in server.properties from 10 to 8 and installed ferritecore in my server. I think its included now in the v24 version of the modpack and I installed fastbench and fastfurnace in my server

Reading up on the cursed realm mod page, the mod owner has said there should be no villagers or illagers generating in the cursed realm, and seems to indicate those are being generated by other mods in the Better Minecraft modpack, which are placing structures in the cursed realm.

I'm guessing this can be tweaked via config files clientside, but I'm very new to all this. Was wondering if this was something that could be tweaked for a future release, or if its going to be left up for users to do on their own.

to anyone looking for the spider queen, they do exist. I searched for 6 hours without finding one so I gave up and went into spectator mode to see if they exist. I had to fly through around 5k blocks to find this one, I found countless minotaur rooms, tons of hydras, a few small mobs like bull and that gold block flying thing, and some rooms just full of blue crystal gems. This room isn't even attached to anything so no reasonable player would have been able to find this without xray or dumb luck mining.

Just try exploring caves (underwater caves have plenty) and youll find many. I got over 2 stacks in under an hour just from diving through a huge cave system

It has a readme file that'll help you

They're pretty much it tbh, and if those two causes issue it might be because you were doing it wrong and heck I find it confusing too.
The simple voice chat has a discord where they can give support if you find the informations in the faq and wiki confusing

In the changelog on why it was removed, it can cause issues for server hosts but the mods still works fine if you're willing to put in the time and effort to make it work

Villagers follow you if you are holding an Emerald block. So just trade until you get 9 emeralds. To precision park them, use slabs to make a small 1 wide trough, and put a ceiling over the trough so its only 2 high. Lure the villager in, then place a slab at the entrance to close it. Then sneak to get out.

It works the same way as luring animals with their breeding food item. You sometimes have to wait a moment for the villager to recognize you are holding the emerald, and then stay within leashing range of him. If you get out of range he resets and often runs all the way back to his last idle spot. It may have been bugged before, but it definitely works as of last night (as long as the villager is not a guard villager).

I think I had the same problem as you, enchanting + repairing is too expensive to be worthwhile. My solution was to add a ring of repair mod to the server (client also needs to download it) and it passively repairs your gear so you only need exp for enchanting and books. It still takes a while (10-15 mins to repair diamond pick to 100%) so it's not that OP.

its normal forge. Ive been using curseforge launcher to run the modpack but when trying to install optifine into the mods it crashes. So another user suggested to just do a normal install of it and im kinda lost now. I downloaded the zip from online but i dont know where to drop it now
