Transferring Your World

If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".

Fixing Lag

To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.

ill tell u this tho, i did manually install the graal, and had to manually set it on browse files as path during the atlauncher settings thin, then it kept saying mc is running using my integ graphics, so i had to manually set the bmc path to custom graphics on the windows graphics display so that itll use my nvidia gpu

could that maybe be a root cause ? if so, do u advice me to reinstall and maybe guide me on smoothly installing the graal thing without the bmc using my integrated graphics and instead my dedicated gpu?

Better MC 4 - v41 crashed without a crash report. The logs have been uploaded to mclo.gs:

5. No it started crashing when I was exploring the world and it suddenly started to lag so much I got 1 or 2 FPS and then it froze and crashed.
6. I got to the certain location in my world, it was on Praire's and then it started to lag to 1-2 FPS and froze. Anytime I log into my world, I can travel for around 10 seconds before the same thing happens.

Preferably from seeing your screen, you'll need a new MB alongside with GPU and RAM, bcs if you'd buy just a GPU for instance, it will create a bottleneck. You're lucky, bcs if you have a rig, you don't have to buy new ones. I got pretty good experience with second hand parts which have been maintained well and are affordable.

And for organ, kidney is best bcs you can still live with one

Yeah, those three are responsibly for the raw power of your pc (apart from the external factors like temperature, dust, etc.).

That's why I'm a big fan of upgrading MB first, because it acts as a base for your upgrades. WHen you have a good motherboard, you have newest CPU sockets, SATA ports and PCIexpress (for gpu) sockets. When you have a good foundation, you can upgrade parts one by one

So for the best experience, I'd go for the whole MB alongside with CPU, GPU. Otherwise, I'd check compatibility with your MB and the highest grade of GPU you can go and upgrade the GPU

Hey all, I used the Twilight Forest portal but got DC'ed with the error 'Internal Exception:io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Failed to decode packet 'clientbound/minecraft:custom_payload' and now get DC'ed everytime I try to join. I'm attaching both the 'latest' log and the 'report'. My friend who I play with can go into Twilight Forest without a problem, so I'm guessing the issue is on my end rather than the server. Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Update : from the console I teleported my friend to the spawn and the server no longer crashes. So I think there is a corrupted chuck on the map.

so i would suggest both of you switching to atlauncher, reinstalling the modpack on it, and then trying again

additionally, lan in general can be a bit hit or miss with mods, so i would suggest one of you to use the serverpack and self host (you can skip the port forwarding part), then just connect to the ip of whichever computer is hosting

that would be the theoretically most stable option

Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

I'm playing "better minecraft skyblock v9" with a friend, both installed it this afternoon with curseforge and playing solo. We enjoy it a lot, and would like to play it multiplayer if possible. We are not that much experienced with modding servers, (i only know in general you copy mods in mods folder, both on pc and server). We have an exaroton server where i set forge 1.20.1

First i tried to download the zip file and extract it, and transfer it into mods folder in server. when i try to login server it says "error, missing many mods"

Secondly, i restarted fresh and i copied the 300+ mods (from the cursedforge appdata mods, local folder) into server mods folder, but after doing so, server crash at opening.

This mod is amazing but i have no clue how I'm suppose to setup a server that has it. I didn't find any tutorial.

Any advice will be appreciated

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.

Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.

If lag persists, run the following command ingame:

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

Transferring Your World

If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".

Fixing Lag

To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
