Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

The problem is that every time we turn the aternos server on to host the world, minecraft says that there are 2 mods that will not work on the client side and will not load the world at all. Me and my friends are having lots of issues with BMC 5 v10 NeoForge on our server.

1: Wizard towers (the oxidized copper roof looking ones with all the skele spawners at the bottom) have no loot in the top chest or I think in the bottom one above the spawner too. I played BMC4 and they usually have good loot at the top but it was empty at 3 different locations.

2: My friend keeps editing the waystones config to remove xp costs, force spawn at all villages and allow global waystones for all players but it keeps creating a new waystones common config every time and doesn't actually even do anything, the changes made never actually work in game even after restarting the server many times and trying over and over again. I have done it myself on BMC4 and it seems BMC5 is bugged.

3: A baby drowned zombie with a trident spawned in a cave and killed my friend and nearly me too. There was no water anywhere nearby and it was running on land throwing tridents (wtf). Lots of other strange mob issues we have found too but this was the most significant.

If anyone has a way of fixing any of these issues I would greatly appreciate it!

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

I just have a quick question about Better MC [FORGE] BMC4 v34.5

I'm hosting a local server for me and some friends to play on. But chunk-loading has become some what of an issue.
I'm wondering if there is a way to improve on chunk-loading to a point where the server can handle people exploring.
Loading chunks take an awful amount of time even when I'm alone on the server.
The problem is most noticeable when using a dragon to explore. But even using a boat will give you the same issue in a less noticeable way, you are just not fast enough to get stuck in nothing waiting for chunks to load.

Granted, the pc hosting the server is not the best in any way, and I get that the mods probably require more to load new chunks than vanilla. But in vanilla we could be up to 8 players exploring the world at once with marginal issues. The computer is not being used for anything other than hosting this server.
System specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 3970X @ 3.5GHz
RAM: 32GB DDR3 @ 823MHz
GPU: 3071MB NVIDIA Quadro K4000
Again, I'm fully aware that these are awful. But if the server can't handle one player exploring, I feel like there might be some configuration I could do.

I'm using the server files provided from CurseForge.
The server it self has been given 8GB of RAM. I have tried to give it up to 12GB but the chunks are still loading at the same pace.
View distance is set to 10. Simulation distance has not been changed as it was removed from the "server.properties" file.
No changes has been done to any configs or properties other than port and IP changes.

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

Chunks are taking more than 1 minute to load fully (for the servers view distance)

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Hi, did anyone experienced an error on BMC5-Neoforge-1.21.1 v11 Servers, where Mobs (e.g. Creepers or Villagers) cannot find a path if they are under or infront of an Trapdoor? Tried to build a Creeper Farm and a Villager Breeder on my server. Villagers couldnt detect the bed, creepers spawned but couldnt move. If someone have a clue which config setting this could be I´m happy, because in Singleplayer this error does not happen

   no crash: Path Finding Error on hosted Server (only on Server) if using Trapdoors for e.g. Creeper Farm or Villager Breeder
   Steps:
   Putting Creeper under Trapdoors -> they wont move
   Building a Villager Breeder -> Villagers wont detect the beds behind the trapdoors

   (Those farms work in Singleplayer, issue is only on Servers)

I hit an Invoker so hard it bugged the game? It just disappeared and it's still alive, I even used a diamond magnum torch and Horn of Sight to clear up the mobs and look for it, no where in the mansion. Any ideas on how to fix it? It's boss bar is still present

hey y'all! im reinstalling the latest version of better mc since i have an old one. i ran into the same issue i had before where there's some incompatible files. im using essential mod to launch this game. my bf and i were able to find a file or files that messed with essential mod and we currently have a better mc world that is compatible with essential. however, we forgot what the file(s) was/were. could anyone share some insight on what to delete to make them work together again?
