If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

Hey there! I wanted to check out Better MC and downloaded the Version for 1.20.1. I want to play offline and i just wanted to install it by myself without curseforge (i dont want to download cf)

I recognised that the Zip File is only ca 37mb and i extracted it and copied everything to the minecraft folder. I looked in the Mod Folder and there are only 2 Mods (inventorymanagement-1.3.1+1.20 and memoryleakfix-forge-1.17+-1.1.1)

I started MC with forge modloader created a World and saw that the game started Vanilla and when i look in Options for Mods there is only MC, Forge and that Memory Mod.

How do i get a Version with all Mods?? I looked online and i only find that Version at curseforge and some File at Modrinth i cant open (which is more 100mb)

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

Moreover, this dungeon structure has spawned in two worlds on Nether roof that I've tested, within a hundred block of origin and then nowhere else in that world, and in the 3rd world I tested, it didn't appear at all (or atleast I couldn't find it).

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Hi! I’m using BMC4 through curse forge, I set my ram to 8gb since the performance guide recommended that since I have 16gb. But when I load the game it says “More memory allocated than recommended for your system” and then shows me what the recommended is. I would first check how much ram your system is using without minecraft running. Almost sounds like you might have somethings open that are using the other half and it might be nearly maxing out your ram usage. But i could be wrong

The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. All of our modpacks already come with built-in, free world hosting, by clicking the "Share World' button in the Open to LAN menu. You can learn more by typing !ws in the ⁠#bots channel.
