Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

Hi, is there a way to troubleshoot what's causing potential connection lag? I was playing on my friend's server (server is based on Australia; I'm on Indonesia, if that matters), and it worked fine at one point. But now, I start to have bad latency lag spikes when teleporting to other waystones, or even when I'm just running fast and loading chunks. Hello, i've updated BetterMC to the latest version but it crashes after a few seconds on that forge loading mods screen. I know i'm not losing that much content and all ands its not the end of the world because i made a backup before updating.

@sullen scroll From the update im actually getting higher fps then I was before the update, now I am usually getting around 80 and 100 fps with shaders. But for more fps, go to your Nvidia control panel, go to manage 3d settings, go to program settings, and set your preferred graphics processor to high performance. Select javaw.exe, then turn power management mode in the Nvidia control panel to prefer maximum performance, and click apply. Change OpenGL rendering GPU to your graphics card. This increased my fps by around 50 or 60.

because i've been launching my updated instance after transferring over the config files, and then started noticing an "update available" button despite the version being 27.5.

currently doing a fresh install, going to check and see if there's a config that i'm missing that changes per version

i'll fill out the more info thing if i can't figure it out, but honestly i just wanna know for future reference. i change a lot of configs on my own to customize the game and if there's a config file that controls what the current version is id like to know if possible

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

found the fix turned out the zoom built in with essential is bugged so i just binded my zoom key to another mod with zoom

you probably have old config files from v26 or something

it knows what version the modpack is running because it checks the bcc-common.toml config file

you're going to have a lot of issues

crashes, issues with the main menu

every datapack we added in v27 will be missing for you

and your resource load order will be messed up

but do not reuse every old config from v26

you're basically missing half of v27

also almost everything fixed in v27.5 was from config changes lol

well, the major issue is that if we actively support piracy then we can get our server suspended and lose our entire community

secondly, CF doesnt given API keys to pirated launchers

so no pirated launchers can actually install mods or resourcepacks correctly

they'll install wrong versions of certain mods, grab the wrong forge modloader version, skip over mods completely, or skip the options.txt file

most pirated launchers use the server files for client installation

so players end up missing every single client mod

so every performance mod, every clientside qol tweak

I'm using four of the the Incomplete Wither Skeleton Spawners from the Stalwart Dungeons mod. My set-up is super quick and dirty, but you get PLENTY of skulls, bones, and coal. Also I go from 0 to 30 xp in like a minute. It's pretty OP if you need an alternative.

Hi I just (stupidly) updated from one of the previous versions that had like 330 mods on it, to one of the newer ones with closer to 275 mods on it, and doing so made me completely unable to even play the modpack

I’m having trouble reverting back to what I was formerly playing on since I wasn’t really paying attention when I updated so idk what version I was on.

I think the last time my BMC v27 server crashed yesterday it saved a crashlog in a crashlog directory.
Now I'm trying to find out the reason my BMC v27.5 server crashed at a random time and the latest debug.txt starts where my server automatically restarted (it restarts once its crashes due to pterodactyl), and the dated log before that ends right before I can see a "crash" log manually

Crashes happen at random times throughout the day and by that I lose stuff that I have farmed since the last auto save. I have no clue why the server crashes sadly, playing with my husband. I cant even seem to find the crash messages themself. I do neither have a crash-reports directory nor a hs_err_pid file in my main server directory - only the general logs. to be honest we dont understand at all why anyone would make the decision to make end citys that rare. ok fine if your playing alone you only need one elytra if you dont lose your stuff but playing on a server makes having elytras impossible

no crash report, where within here is hs_err_pid file

as the message says, if theres no hserrpid file then send the latest.log file

it might be glow_squid

you can update/remove the enders delight mod
