so i'm using a GTXGaming server, they're who I've used for about 5 years now. I've got minecraft set to 1.20.1 Forge set to 1.20 and BMC4 set to v26 (which is the newest I believe), but whenever I try to start the server I get stuck in this loop in the console

before installing forge i'm able to start the server and it shows in my ingame server list, but as an "incompatible vanilla server" and I can't ever actually join

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Yes, I believe it's something in between Diamond and Netherite.
Durability (at least to me) felt like diamond tho.

I recommend building a small Wither-Skeleton farm out of the spawners you find in the "Awful Dungeon" (where you probably found the Tungsten anyway).
Those skeleton drop bone, coal, wither skeleton skull and tungsten axes.

(In case you didn't know - You can pick up spawners by shift + right clicking right onto the spawner)

Since you're in the top right corner you need to head towards south-west - correct!

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

You’ll also want to get used to using Gyro + Flick-Stick since Minecraft is a terrible game to use analogue stick aiming for. It takes some getting used to, but is definitely worth the learning curve. Tbh I’m better with Gyro + Flick-Stick now than I ever have been with KB&M.

Is there a way to enchant items with JEI like you could with NEI? Even if it’s a separate mod I have to download, it would be so much nicer than having to give myself all the enchanted books, give myself 10 stacks of bottle o enchanting, use all the bottles, add all the enchantments manually, and get a new anvil if it breaks.

Asking again, I killed the King Aerwhale in the Aether, when I came back down to my base it was entirely filled with snow.

  1. Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

  1. When installing through adoptium, make sure that Add to PATH and Set JAVA_HOME variable are both set to be installed (please see https://imgur.com/a/jPu1h7h for how that would look)

    ii) Redirect your launcher/server to use your new installation of Java

  1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
  2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

I tried the Chunk Pregenerator Mod but it doesn't work. After that I contacted you. I should follow it like in the pinned video. However, I cannot use the codes in the game because they are not available to me when I enter them.

Im moving items from one storage network to another, theres 100% a better way but now I have hoppers from an exchange interface to a collection interface, but well its at hopper speed, dont have that much items but its atleast 45K. Tried putting an import cable on the exchange interface but then it connects and breaks the other core, but I also cant find a way to make the export cable spam export, I can only get it working using filter.

edit:Just did it manually wasnt as bad as I thought just took like 5 mins, but still good to know if anyone has solutions.

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

If all else fails, a manual installation should work:

brother i have to, the most up to date versions (25+) literally do not have their chunks load, theres like a 5 minute delay and itll only load the ones in front of me.
and i dont think its a case of allocating more RAM as i allocated all 32 gigs 😭

version 24 is chugging along just fine even after i wombo combod about 40 other mods into it

edit to this incase you respond, straight memory leak for me, RAM usage quickly spikes to the maximum allowed and doesn't go down.
This happens on all versions, 24 through 26 so I'll just hop onto another modpack.

Im using V26 of the pack and im getting an issue where when im loading new chunks the game stops working weirdly, i can move around semi normally but i cannot break blocks, kill mobs, and chunks stop loading, sometimes it fixes it self and chunks start loading normally but sometimes i have to leave the world and come back to fix it, it feels like the tick speed goes to 0 or server tps goes to 0. Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

i have this issue still after 15 days
I tried the Chunk Pregenerator Mod but it doesn't work. After that I contacted you. I should follow it like in the pinned video. However, I cannot use the codes in the game because they are not available to me when I enter them.

  1. Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

  1. Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
  2. Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)

Method ii

  1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
  2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

My friend's install of BMC4 modpack through curseforge was working with our modded server for a week. But recently been getting crashes upon joining the server with this error

The game crashed whilst encountered exception while building chunk meshes
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke
"net.minecraft.resources.ResourceLocation.m_135827_()" because "location" is null
Exit Code: -1

we've tried restarting the PC and reinstalling BMC4 through curseforge, nothing so far
