they're individual modpacks

Well 3 is pretty stable and 4 is too but 4 is constantly being updated and has better performance too and in terms of mod it will be better than 3 soon so yeah it’s really upto you. You can also try installing both playing em for like 10-20 mins and then decide by yourself

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

I was wondering if I could get some help with crashes I've been having frequently on my Mac. I haven't modified the modpack. I am using the CurseForge launcher and I am playing 1.20.1 v21 Better MC on a hosted server. My game crashes intermittently with exploration/playing. Here is the crash report:

There is a temp fix for this posted within the Immortal Devs' ( Paradise lost creators ) discord. It's a custom jar file, you'll just place it in your mod folder.

I tested the fix and added it to my server and it's corrected the portal issues.

My sky goats keep disappearing ;^;

I built a sky island, and I cultivated a farm up there with sky animals. Now since my home's construction I've kept a pet goat named Sage. OG Sage stuck it out with me until I was nearly done the main space of my house. I was fairly confident that she'd stay there no problems with how long she's been there(she stays in the house with a trough), until one day she disappeared. RIP Sage. So I brought another goat up to the island, this one named Arch. He didn't stay long like Sage. In a matter of days he was gone. Fast forward to my 4th Sage quite recently, I keep a small enclosure of animals on my farm. Nothing fancy, three cows, three sheep, a chicken coup. None them disappear but, my dearest Sage the fourth just vanished without a trace, even with being in the enclosure.

TL;DR I bring goats on high sky island house and they're the only entities that disappear

Why must my goats leave me? Am I treating them poorly? Are they afraid of heights? Do I smell bad?

It's been grouped in with Minecraft's bug tracking on entities randomly despawning. It's tragically hilarious because all the screenshot attachments are just images of empty spaces.

Hi, im looking for some help, have not been able to get pas the launcher for better MC forge. Im using curseforge to launch, v21 of the modpack for minecraft 1.20.1. I have not modified the modpack. I have tried wiping it and reinstalling, I have used GeForce experience to update my drivers and still no luck. I get the exit code 1 error. Please let me know if you need anymore information, any help appreciated!
