When I try to start better minecraft 1.20.1 it keeps giving me the exitcode 1. Got the newest Java and also downloaded the Java 18 from adoptium. Everytime I try to change the Java Path to the one from adoptium it gives me an error of wrong Java version, so it wont even try to start.

when you allocate ram, you have to do it in the modded launcher, in this case, curseforge, as the rendering screen crash report showed that you didn't allocate ram, it was still at 4gb

allocate 8gb max, if your pc has less, then 5.5gb

and make sure you aren't running any programs in the background, including discord, as anything can take up ram

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Hi the other day i updated bmc 1.19.2 from v16 to v17 and it broke one of my farms for some reason. got some images of it. basically 8 incomplete wither skel spawners with collection, fall to half heart and brought to the center for farming through a water elevator. problem is that in v17, mid fall they kinda stop simulating? but it's centered around the player. i tried changing the entity distance settings to a bigger range but to no avail

heyho! i made an endermen farm but for some reason endermen dont spawn when im at the bottom of the farm, and only spawn when im either at the top or when i load in the chunks
i also noticed that endermen sometime will only agro to the endermite for a little while, and then un-agro if they dont fall down

5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.

8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

okay, this helped the issue slightly
endermen spawn when im at the bottom now, but only when i load in the chunks, so i still have the problem of having to fly back and forth

otherwise endermen slowly trickle in, like 5 every few minutes

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS

I play LAN with my Girlfriend but my pc started to suffer. CPU at 90% or more o can even play music or something besides Minecraft AND the game sometimes Freeze

I have another PC with 6 GB of Ram And a 4 Cores 4 Threads CPU to be the server at home.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:

3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.

5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

just an update, ill leave. 1.16.5 has serious performance issues, i ended up getting the 1.19 version which had MORE mods and got more or less the same performance as the 1.20 one
