An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

hello, im currently playing the better mc modpack and i looked in my quest book and saw i could get a rechargeable enderpearl for crafting a waystone, I did that and it didn't give me the enderpearl instead it gave me bottle of xp, but when i watched someone on youtube playing the same mod pack do the same quest he didn'r craft it but instead picked one up from a village and placed it somewhere else completing the quest and getting a rechargeable enderpearl

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

We've been playing Medieval MC 1.16.5 Forge a lot but all of us have been running into the "out of memory" issue, so I decided to try installing adoptium again, fair warning though, we are using CurseForge because some of the people in the group are not good with technical stuff, so I tried changing the Java version used for forge mod loader in CurseForge which basically did nothing, after that I tried switching it in the minecraft launcher which prompted me with Java version mismatch error. So we're forced to use the bundled Java which is Oracle's Java 8.

Has anyone done this successfully? I've tried going over the Performance Guide a bunch of times already but we're not really getting anything done.

Hello, I just come to say that if you have amd ryzen with integrated graphics you cannot play stable if you have 8gb of ram, since part of the ram memory is used as vram and this causes the ram to saturate, thanks. We have the same problem on our server with the latest (Feb 25) version of MMC3. It looks like farmers delight tools lost their forge/knife tag somehow. JEI doesn't list any tool capable of doing this, or lists 🛑 -sign as the "tool" to do it (with forge/knife tag on it)
