Hello guys. Ive just gotten the BMC3 Forge version modpack to test it out after I was kinda done with the BMC1 Fabric one. The issue is - game crashes every so often with Exit Code 1 and I had the same issue with the Fabric, cant wrap my head around why is it happening though.

My sugar cane farm is outdoors, built on a lake. When winter comes and the lake freezes, most of my sugar cane is destroyed because it is no longer near a water source block, and I am left with very few crops.

I am in the nether and I found some weird bricks called transient bricks. I got an effect called Spore and all of a sudden my screen turned dark blue and it's like there was a creature attached to me.

I killed it with my sword but it gave me a wither 2 effect.

7. Does a crash report generate? If so, send the file here. If not, is there an exit code? (On CurseForge, right click the instance, Open Folder, and go to the crash reports folder. Alternatively, post the log's text on mclo.gs and send the link here.)
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq!
9. To reiterate #1. did you install install the Modpack through a launcher or did you download the Server Pack or use the Server Files as the Modpack?
10. To reiterate #2. did you use a cracked launcher like TLauncher?

That's just curseforge doing a security check. Sometimes bugs out on GDL. Basically you either just have to come back later or sometimes going on the actual curseforge website, letting it do its check and then retrying with GDL can work sometimes.

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. When does the crash happen?
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Does a crash report generate? If so, send the file here. If not, is there an exit code? (On CurseForge, right click the instance, Open Folder, and go to the crash reports folder. Alternatively, post the log's text on mclo.gs and send the link here.)
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq!
9. To reiterate #1. did you install install the Modpack through a launcher or did you download the Server Pack or use the Server Files as the Modpack?
10. To reiterate #2. did you use a cracked launcher like TLauncher?

Please attach your latest.log file to your message as well. This can be found in the logs folder.

ATLauncher didn't work, simply just closed itself. GDLauncher starts minecraft, however, I don't think it is supposed to be stuck like this (its murdering my PC as we speak, which is surprising considering my PC specs)

Hi all, I'm new here so im hoping this is the right channel to post this in. I have just started using better minecraft for 1.19.2 and am wanting to change the config file for the leaf piles from immersive weather. I tried changing everything to 0 and it appears to replaced my file with the default one and titled mine the same name with 2 at the end (the common-1.toml file). Does anyone know how to change these and what to change them to in order to stop leaf piles forming and slowing me down? Id even be happy with a tiny tile block that just has the appearance if that makes sense? I'll send a photo of the config file that I edited and the one it replaced it with.

Okay it was java on automatic in launcher, but it was still showed that its 18. Unticked so its manual and it automatically selected the same path to the 18, now f3 shows java 18. Confusion is still at large 😄

4. If the output isn't as intended, you have 2 options.

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. No, its not a biome its a block, but everything on this level is made of brimstone, not netherack (and that is why i think maybe a different biome, maybe brimstone is only biome specific)

That is really strange, I spend the last 30 minutes in creative using vein mining, there seems to be no Ancient debree in all 3 underground biomes (Brimstone Caverns, Basalt Deltas, Wailing Garth) I couldnt find any other biomes on lvl 12

Glowstone Gardens also checked, non there (I've dug huge areas (100 blocks / 100 blocks/ 20 hight out and couldnt find a single 1)

Finaly found 2 next to each other, but it seems the spawn rate is like, now when i noticed the percentage is 0.02% wich is 2 out of 10000, it seems right maybe I'm just unlucky

You are not unlucky, it's just very rare. Mine at Y = 15 either using a pickaxe with vein miner or exploding the blocks with beds. I managed to get around 25 ancient debris in 3 minecraft days of mining.
