ancient tomes, if combined in a anvil with a enchanted item that has the enchant of the ancient tome, it gives the enchanted item +1 tier to the enchant of the enchanted item, like, let's say you have a ancient tome of unbreaking, and your tool has unbreaking 2, if you combine the two, you get unbreaking 3, but there's a max, you can't just dump all the ancient tomes and make unbreaking 50, (note that you need the enchant itself on your item or the ancient tome won't work), and the max tier of all the enchants is written in each ancient tome

Hello! I have a question about BMC3.

I only started using this modpack a few days ago. I am trying to increase the limit of chunks I can forceload, but can't quite figure out how.

I am playing singleplayer. The ftbchunks file does not appear here, where it should be.

When I try to access it, I get an error saying: 'The item 'ftbchunks' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?'

I would like to mention that I have made no edits or modifications to the config files of any mods, nor did I delete or add any such files. Everything is a fresh install of BMC3.

How can I find and edit the config file for the Shield Expansion mod in order to reduce the cooldown after blocking?

Also, is there any way of crafting the vanilla shield? The normal recipe, with the 6 wood planks and iron ingot at the top, doesn't work anymore, because of this mod.

When I search for 'shield' in the JEI menu and press R to show the recipe for the vanilla shield, it actually shows me the recipes involving the shield (such as customizing it with a banner).
