Might not be that great in this modpack. But Idk all the gear and enchants in this pack so can't say for sure. All I can say is look up all the gear in JEI and see what it does, its stats, etc. Testing in a separate world where you can go into creative to get items and then back to survival to put yourself in a realistic scenario also helps a lot.

Combat skills are also useful. But that just takes focused practice.

yeah after using both optifine and the other performace mods ive decided to stick with optifine, its probably beacuse of my rig but there is a maybe 10-20 fps diffrence between opti and the other performance mods. optifine has way more fun things i can do with it and if i edit settings on my game then i can get the fps up to around 59-57 fps the other performance mods dont really help and i have no idea why everyone here shits on optifine so much
