in the curseforge launcher you have to right click the modpack you want to play in gdlauncher, and click on "open folder", then you should see a folder called "saves" and you right click on it and copy it, now you can close curseforge and go into gdlauncher, right click on the same modpack you did with curseforge, and click once again on "Open folder" and then paste the saves folder in there

- Click on the Minecraft Tab on the Left side of the CurseForge App.
- Click button next to the Create Custom Profile option.
- Click Repair Installation option.

You make a backup which you can do in-game. Then you right click instance to open folder. You will see a backups folder. So now you have that world in backups. Then you can click the double arrows to change version and then update to latest. World should be in backups folder and then you just transfer to saves.

It is a feature of ImmersiveWeathering, that gives a chance to spawn leaf piles ( a gravity block) when regular leaves decay. Since FallingTrees has fast leaf decay options, it tries to spawn a bunch of falling leaf piles at once and freaks out my game. Thank goodness.

if that's happening on the server then try messing with your ai improvements config. Mob rendering problems was an issue I and some others had. Villagers didn't have the right skins and children were rendered as full size, slimes were all the same size regardless of how they spawned, maybe other problems.

if you just want to play one mod then manually setting up forge is the move. Not sure why you would be crashing when trying to run the .jar file though.

Just click on the plus sign in the bottom left corner to create a new instance, under the vanilla tab use the drop down menu to select forge > 1.16.5 > 36.2.39, click the arrow on the bottom right and give it a name
