i have the premium version of bisect but the update available icon does not show up above the mod pack version i have. once i stop the server and try to update it, it completes, reloads and still says the same thing upon joining. im doing something wrong just not sure what. should i just try to manually do it with the mod folders and all that?

On other people s Better Minecraft Lets Plays, I see people upgrading the size of their backpack. Is this a mod that i'm missing? (Backpacked?)
(There is a setting in game that allows me to change the size but it doesn't seem to work either. Is that a setting i must change in my server?)

Also, it looks like snow follows me around. I don't mind the snow effect, but I really don't like that it piles up on the ground.

I would put it to 8GB. On the forge menu there should be a little gear in the bottom left. Go to Minecraft and there should be a slider in the settings

5. When does the crash happen?
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Does a crash report generate? If so, send the file here. If not, is there an exit code? (On CurseForge, right click the instance, Open Folder, and go to the crash reports folder. Alternatively, post the log's text on mclo.gs and send the link here)

So this modpack seems to have an issue with conflicting recipes between Quark and CaC Backport. Quark has the only recipe for the Deepslate Brick Vertical Slab but it can only be made from Quark deepslate which doesn't generate because it was replaced by CAC Backport. There are actually a lot of conflicting recipes revolving around deepslate which makes things unobtainable.

I can decompile the JAR and change the recipes from there (probably), but is there an easier way of fixing this?

Using cobbled deepslate from the CAC Backport mod you can create Stone Bricks from CAC Backport in the stone cutter. Putting those back in allows you to make CAC Backport items, but it looks like the brick vertical slabs from CAC Backport were removed in favour of Quark. Issue is that Quark deepslate is unobtainable

Clicking on the CAC Backport vertical slabs doesn't give a recipe (which I suppose means it's disabled), and clicking on the one from Quark shows the stonecutter recipe, but it requires Quark deepslate which isn't obtainable

you can report the issue in their github #faq question 12 or wait until a mod or developer is talking in the server to ask them to put it in the bucket list

Ah I had never used those before. Anyway, the fix from the Issue works after testing, but I've never made a modpack and it sounds like you don't manually edit recipe files inside the JAR files lmao
