I was confused by it, trying to install the upgrades. So I looked to a video. In the modpack they only work as crafting recipe ingredients. But in the video he was able to click on the cables to get a UI and place the upgrade into the UI.

I went to the darkhax discord and they literally insisted "put it in the cable. That's how it works." They were kinda snotty too 😅
