If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

It has support for blood magic, butchery, and hexerei, maybe others
Though only hexereis matters here

You can also make hexerei blood by jumping in a cauldron with a blood sigil, which can be found as loot in witch villages, or made form blackstone (which you can find in the overworld)

haven't played in a while. game's crashing when trying to load, error code "805". At one point there was a window asking if i wanted to update some mod. It said it was "Essential Mod Update", which i honestly assumed was referring to the mod called "Essential" and didn't give it a second thought. You can find netherack around dark wells and ruined portals in the overworld, as well as the magma blocks to make the blast furnace

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.

7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Hey! Some of me and my members of my discord are having trouble with launching this mod pack. We continue to get a crash report every time we launch the game with an error code 1. My husband that is also playing and has also followed all the same steps as us does not have this same crash issue.

  1. Game Version 1.20.1
  2. Launcher: CurseForge
  3. I have not changed any mods in any way
  4. Version 1.0.11
  5. The game crashes on launch every time
  6. I click play on the mod in curse forge which launches the game, when I click play in the game it crashes with error code 1

We don't support Aternos nor can we assist you with using it for reasons listed below;

  1. You are unable to add / edit the mods to implement a fix that can be game changing at times.
  2. We are unable to control the updates of our packs on Aternos, nor ever will.
  3. The hosting is not strong enough to host our packs on there without it crashing every so often.
  4. We have other free methods that work much better than Aternos does. Run the !ws command and the !server command in #bots for more information on how to host a server for free.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.

For anyone wanting to disable the pulsing and heartbeat effect, in the config folder of the modpack there's a .txt file called "enhancedvisuals-client"

In there, there's code for "damage" which you can replace to "false"

Can anyone help? I can load in just fine, even load a singleplayer. i dont lag or crash. but anytime i enter multiplayer i am stuck in one spot and it slingshots/snaps me back into place, i cant move or anything, which can cause my death. then i lose connection completely. no matter what i do i cant stay in for more than a minute before i crash.

I never enable true hardcore on modpacks due to glitches that kill the player. Hardmode without dying is the same as hardcore in the end after all.
unfortunately speaking of glitched deaths, I said 'legitimate deaths' for a reason as I did die once, but that was due to a glitched portal literally teleporting me below bedrock and instantly killing me.

also as an fyi: the bonescaller staff lacks usefullness due to the sanity mechanic, the spawned skelletons count as pets, meaning if they die, you lose most of your sanity

    It's random, as sometimes I can open it and sometimes it crashes.

has anyone had a problem with the backpack jukebox upgrade? When ever I press play the title of the song displays but I can't hear any music. My jukebox volume is up and so is my music volume, I'm not sure if there's a setting I need to enable or something. This is my first comment so thank you for any replies.

not trying to ask useless questions or something, but how would VSync change anything about the chunk generation being slow? and after testing, it didnt make a difference. the slow chunk generation isnt really a serious issue as it doesnt make the game unplayable, but it is somewhat of an inconvenience when trying to explore

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Moon For Mac devices using Apple Silicon/arm (M1/M2/etc.) CPUs

There is an issue with Java 17.0.8 and newer where you may experience "A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment", which can cause the Java runtime to crash under a variety of circumstances. To resolve this:
Mac:

  1. Go here and hover over the Download buttons until you see one with the option to install a .dmg file. If you have an M-series Mac, then make sure to install the ARM64 version of this file.
  2. Install ATLauncher and open it. For more information on how to install and use ATLauncher, run the !alternates command in #bots.
  3. Click "Settings" on the right
  4. Click "Java/Minecraft" at the top
  5. Set "Use Java Provided by Minecraft" to false by unchecking the checkbox
  6. Manually specify the following Java path in the text box to the left to the "Reset" button: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-21.jdk/Contents/Home

  • One of the times after i reinstalled it, it didn't crash, but that only happened once, when i closed it and tried to open again it kept crashing, even after reinstalling it again.

  • Opening the game. It loads in fine up until "Minecraft Progress", which then it keeps going until it crashes.

  • As some extra notes, when i was still on Windows 10 the modpack worked perfectly, it was only after i changed to Linux Nobara that it started crashing everytime, regular minecraft works fine and some other modpacks i used also worked perfectly so i figured there was an issue with this one in specific that made it crash on Linux for some reason

GLFW

  1. Download the latest GLFW library files from your distros official repositories. If you are on a slow updating distro (like Ubuntu), instead download the latest pre-built files from my repository at https://github.com/Frontear/glfw-libs/releases
  2. Add -Dorg.lwjgl.glfw.libname=/path/to/file to your launcher java arguments. An example of what this might look like is -Dorg.lwjgl.glfw.libname=/home/frontear/Downloads/libglfw.so.

  1. Download the latest OpenAL library files from your distros official repositories.
