For a while, i've been playing an old version of Fear Nightfall [v15 specifically], and I'm looking to move what I've made to the newest version of the game. My first priority is bringing what i've built, then entities, then everything else. I'm more than happy to play through progression I've already done, I just want my home and my pets. i'm not entirely sure what would the best tools to do this would be. I have Amulet downloaded, but i'm completely willing to look into other possible choices.

I found a solution to this if anyone is looking for it!
I used structure blocks, a vanilla mechanic to transfer the base across. Inside the world folder, there's a folder called "structures" which you can copy over into the new world folder. Load them in with the structure block again, and it should work! Entities are a little finicky, so save them separately.

So I fixed this like yesterday- where I had some problems with shaders where I run the shader and my screen goes black but I can still interact with the world and I can see through my UI and all. I was told to do the optimizations with the performance, I followed all directions, loaded minecraft up, worked the shaders and it was working fine. My friend joined and now my screen is black again 😭

okay it has been a while since I've asked and there's still no update on my question so let me ask again

Question: Why do mobs (or at the very least the Box of Horrors mod's mobs) immediately despawn after night-time ends? I tried to keep Michael Davies and the Fresno Nightcrawler as pets, and they got deleted into the abyss. If this is a specific Fear Nightfall feature, is there any kind of way to turn off or remove this? Would be highly appreaciated since me and my friends have some obscure pets. Thanks.

There isn't any quest for it atm, and theres 2 options you can do to remove the Damned
First is if you are in curseforge, you can go to profile options and allow content management, then disable or remove the mod
The other way if to go to the Teraphobia config and set its day count much higher, which will stop it from spawning

I've started this modpack a few weeks ago. But it seems that a lot of mobs are missing... I sometimes come across non-vanilla mobs, like ghost creeper, dwellers and so, but I've never seen bosses, and I'm stuck to move forward in the chapters. I've killed 0 bosses yet, and it's frustrating.

Also, the game is very, very difficult in my opinion.. Cave mining is almost impossible, I have difficulties finding iron because I get flooted too quickly. Any recommandations about this? Wich stuff should I try to focus on?

I have a similar issue. Someone on our dedicated server dipped string into a Hexerei cauldron full of tallow to make a candle and it white-screened everyone in the server, crashed all of our games, and made us unable to rejoin--even after a server restart.

Required:

If there is no crash report, navigate to the logs folder and upload "latest.log."
If there is no log, navigate to the base pack directory and upload the hs_err_pid file, if there is one.

If so, remove the mod Immersive MC - it changes barrel and other block overlays, mostly used for VR

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

hey, in the modpack there's this zombie choking (?) / gurgling noise that seems to trigger every time a zombie spawns. it's much louder than all the mob noises, and triggers so often that it's just a little annoying. i was wondering if anyone knew a way to disable specific mob sounds?

There is a muffler mod, next to your character when you open intentory there is a button you can click to bring up the m uffler mod, then disable the sounds from Zombie awareness

Hm, actually it might be a differend mod for zombie noises in RoC, but you can still search within the muffler mod for zombie noises to mute

you're the best. it was an alert sound in zombie awareness that triggered (rather loudly) any time a zombie became aware of you. there was a setting in its config to reduce this alert sound (both types of it) to basically 0. :). my immersion is saved and you are its hero, tysm~!

The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. Otherwise, Horror Elements has some very specific non-loottable-utilizing chests in a lab.

it's actually an axe but you can throw a bone pickaxe on the sons of sins blood that it'll turn to flesh
