question: it was recommended that i swap from forge to atlauncher to avoid a crash involving the ender dragon. however, two biomancy processing blocks, the digester and decomposer, are also creating infinite sound sources that require rejoining the world to fix. my buddies still on curseforge are not having this issue. is there a fix for both at once, or is this a case of lesser of two bugs?

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Hello, Is there any way to disable the creepers that fly like rockets? I like the modpack like it is, but I feel like I would enjoy it even more if the creepers weren't so anoying. That's the only thing I want for my survival world. I can't build anything I like because they simply destroy it.

Me and a few others REALLY liked the pack you guys made!!
But we noticed that it can be more "enjoyable" with a few QoL additions and doo-dads here and there, as many new players were just giving up on it in within the first hour or so..

Hey guys I'm trrying to use a plugin to disable daylight cycle when players are offline the server. However, I noticed that the gamerule doDaylightCycle_tc exists which I've never seen before. I'm guessing this is the one that the modpack uses, because disabling regular daylight cycle doesn't work, and that I may have stuffed up some server settings by modifying the default daylight cycle. Any suggestions?

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

Issue: Running a world as a server causes the questbook(accessed through the inventory)to be blank and the "forbiden tome" doesnt spawn in inventory
- inital spawn loads with a shield, wooden sword, and 9 bread
Testing in single player worlds had spawn items set to 8 torches and 1 forbidden tome (quests were working when accessed through the inventory as well)

hello, i have problems with lags on my server. Often in console I see message; Dropping voice chat packets! Your Server might be overloaded! and Is the server overloaded? Running 60296ms or 1205 ticks behind.

"Why do you want less creepers?" -- Simply because I can't figure out where to disable the creeper's ability to "see" you thru walls and blow up next to said walls without line of sight. It doesn't make the game scary, its more annoying and feels like the modpack is griefing you. I'd rather not have creepers at all then to have one of them randomly decide to be an a-hole.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

    The game launches in singleplayer, but im having problems launching a private server using the forge server.
  6. What steps cause the crash?
    The server wont launch once i put the mods in the mod folder inside my server files.
    The server launches normally without any of the mods but with the mods it gets stuck on "bootstrap launcher"
    All of the crash reports state:
    "Failure message: xxxxxxxxx Mod (xxxxxxxxx) has failed to load correctly
    java.lang.RuntimeException: Attempted to load class net/minecraft/client/gui/screens/Screen for invalid dist

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Hey guys, I'm having an issue really ironing out what the issue is with my server, things will run fine for a while then we'll be hit with tons of server lag. I'm using custom arguments from the guide but still seem to be running into issues. Also every couple of hours my memory will rocket up to my max of 7G and crash the server.

The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. All of our modpacks already come with built-in, free world hosting, by clicking the "Share World' button in the Open to LAN menu. You can learn more by typing !ws in the ⁠#bots channel. You can also run type !server in the same channel to learn how to properly host a server for better performance and more flexibility. In modpacks that aren't owned by us, you can use mods such as e4mc or WorldHost to host a server completely for free without Essential's many issues and crashes and the microtransactions that they constantly bother users with. To learn more about alternatives to the Essential mod, check out this website.

Minecraft 1.19.2, MultiMC, did not change the modpack except disabling sound physics remastered, v15, always crashes as long as mod is active, just run the program. I used arch linux with openjdk 21. im not at the pc right now, I can upload the crash log later.

Voice chat mod is disabled by default on Bisect servers due to it causing a crash if you're not using a dedicated IP (this is majority of budget servers). Generally all that needs doing to re-enable it is removing the .d from the end of the voice chat mod file (Assuming you have a Dedicated IP + UDP is enabled on the panel).

it isnt performance per say, my performance is fine, once it starts loading it loads fine, and my fps is maxed out at what i have it capped at. it really is just the world taking a little too long to load, causing the server to see my partner, sitting in the void for more than 30 seconds, and booting them off because theres no input from the users client (i assume)

oh yeah, curseforge has an awesome ui, but i have regular issues with mods conflicting with each other, performance issues, at one point curseforge was using almost 3 gigs of my memory in the background, but i honestly thought it was just java being terrible as usual

Howdy everyone. I'm trying to host a fear nightfall server on my computer for my wife and I because playing LAN is laggy sometimes. I tried to download the server pack through CurseForge but when I open the "start.ps1" file it just opens in a Notepad. I tried to save as a .bat file but then it closes.

I'm lost, I just remember the old ways of Minecraft server making and I'm definitely behind in anything new. Or perhaps I'm doing something wrong.
