The structures are sold separately as each item.

Only the claim stakes are currently functional relative to SAGE.

The other structures will be of more use in future iterations but no definitive timeline at the moment.

Right now all you need is the claimstake to passively generate FOOD, FUEL, AMMO, TOOLS in the faction claims program

I think locking and staking are often used in the same way in this context.
For locking atlas you get reduction in marketplace fees and some polis.
For locking polis you get voting power on proposals for the DAO and polis in return (depends on how long you lock it - 2 weeks to 5 years).

worked out the fuel needed and then scanned and didnt have enough fuel to return.
worked out what i had mined in the the last three days approx 111 Atlas and then got charged 300 atlas to destruct.

Thats why you need to have a proper strategy before doing anything in sage. It can be costly.
It takes as long for the ships to respawn as it would if you would subwarp back to the CSS.
If you want to be on the safe side and not lose money I would strongly encourage you to go over the resources we posted.

You need to have a properly optimised scanning fleet first. Once you do you give the fleet some food (if they need food for scanning), and go to an empty sector on the map. There you can scan.

Unfortunately there wont be any mobile optimisation happening before the release on Fleet Command (which is sage in UE5). Rumour says that might happen first half next year (not confirmed by the team).
You can try to lower text size or increase screen resolution somehow (some users reported this might help), but other than that I can only ask you to access sage through the desktop browser 🙏

A question about Ship Enlistment - it looks like Atlas rewards don't depend on the provided supplies what is the point of the supplies then?

Are you asking about Faction Fleet?
The supplies were necessairy so there was some early utility. The resources are the cornerstones of the Star Atlas economy, without them it would just be nft staking.
At this point the rewards have been drastically reduced, I wouldnt expect to make too much profit there.

I really dont think Faction Fleet is worth your time, the rewards you get have been lowered drastically over the last couple of months.
And yes, you need to provide supplies. If your fleet runs out of supplies they stop generating atlas.
The more ships you put in there the more atlas you get (and the more resources you need to resupply)

But there's new opportunity rn with the update from yesterday. You might be able to craft with your two crewmembers at a starbase, buying raw resources and selling them after crafting (maybe even mining and selling resources with your X5 but I cant guarantee the sonana fees wont eat you up). Unfortunately this update is way to new to identify a meta yet, you'd have to find out yourself.

Thats probably too little to put a decent fleet together, but scanning might be something you'd want to look into.
Some of the tools arent that complicated to use really, but they are community created. Always do your own research if you ever decide to use a third party tool

An alternative you could do is to create a new wallet within the game and send whatever ships you'd like to fly there.

I feel your point, but Star Atlas has top notch security and audits.
I personally am also very careful with inputting seed phrases (and its wise to be), but the alpha tag doesnt go with security. That was very important to the team since the beginning.
Still it is a good habit to just send to your ingame wallet whatever you need and not import your seed phrases straight away.

Depends on what you want to do.
If you just want to play in UE5 thats more than enough. You'll be able to play as your crew member (the cosmetics and character might not be fully implemented, but team is getting there) and fly your ship around.
If you want to participate in the economy by playing sage (the browsergame) unfortunately one small ship and one crew member wont be enough. You'll need a decent fleet and strategy to make some money there.

Drills and buildings have not been implemented yet into Sage. The same goes for any storage, which is unlimited at the moment. Hopefully, next year, we will see some progress in that regard. The team was talking about it in the latest town hall.

Hi. Yesterday, I purchased the 40 crew , ticked the box to confirm the transaction and transferred them to my Starbase. However, I waited for almost 12 hours, but the crew members did not appear in my account.
I then tried clearing my cookies and re-entering my wallet, only to realize that three different accounts were listed under Sage Lab with the same wallet. It appears that the 40 crew were transferred to another account. I attempted to transfer them back, but unfortunately, only two crew members could be withdrawn.

Yes, I bought 40 crew from the marketplace and immediately set them to go to the starbase, then waited for almost 20 hours.

However, the crew did not appear. Later, I realized that when I logged into Sage Lab using my wallet, three different profiles showed up. It turns out the 40 crew were in the starbase of another profile, not my main profile.

Currently, my situation and goal are to transfer the crew from the other profile into my wallet so I can move them to the starbase of my main profile.

Unfortunately, I was only able to transfer 2 crew, while the remaining 38 crew cannot be transferred into my wallet.

Yes, its not optimal, just a temporary workaround. You could try to transfer two crew, but it will probably fail too

Yes, the crew not loading at port of entry was fixed in the last version, but then if you try to batch transfer crew any direction most if not all of the transactions will fail (even if the UI says all is fine lol)

solana fee on sage labs, like all the transation you need to make. that just take me 0.04 SOL for like 20 tansations... not worth, especial if you have a small fleet (1000€). was a bug like yesterday or for 2 days, that the fee was double, and after that the fee is so expensive

and the 0.04 are 2 token accounts

everything is a solana txn 0.00005, except solana token account creation, these are 0.002, but you get the token accounts back as soon you close them, its an automated process, so as soon you interact with any asset it creates token accounts, same goes for fleets and cargo
so each time you transport or mine things, cargo token accounts get created for your fleet these usually get closed when you unload, but when you disband a fleet a message will pop up in the starbase that you have open cargo accounts when you press it you get the solana token/renting account fees back
