Did something change with the Starbase Maintenance and upKeep? I was supply crew and Framework and gaining LP. Now it seems there is a food supply but not toolkits. So my crafting just sits and does not move....There is no way I can bring enough toolkits to craft the framework, so what the hell?
What is the move here? Is there a group effort or is this just not something a single person can do anymore?

Nothing changed in regards to upkeep costs.
It has always been very hard to keep a base running by yourself unless youre a whale.
Maybe theres a UI bug showing you wrong values. Try a hard refresh (ctrl+F5) and restarting your browser

I am seeing a red warning in tiny letters BTW, they need to be bigger and maybe not red on a black background? But, why if you need toolkits along with food would anyone supply food and not toolkits?

You need toolkits to do upgrades on the starbase, you need food to craft. You don’t necessarily need both

Yeah, youre better off sticking to starbases with other people providing resources as well. Its not meant to be played by yourself.
Join a guild or the faction specific groups, they usually provide intel on where upgrades are happening

No date on the UE5 integration but the browser version will still exist in parallel for some time. Should happen early 2025, but thats only speculation

1. My PC has 1070ti as graphic card, just a little bit below, I won't be able to be play the Epic store version of Star Atlas because the game is crashing when I try to start the showroom for example. Is that normal?

hey fam .. for your first question, have you tried adjusting the game settings to it's lowest config? see if that helps lower the graphics requirement

but yes, if your current machine doesn't meet the minimum game requirements, those crashes can definitely happen

as for the ROI, there's a lot of areas to consider on this. and you're right, at the moment, small players is a bit challenged when it comes to profit

This is maybe basic, but I need to undestand, If I have 2 mine ships that can hold 64k of cargo and 2 freight ships that can hold 64k of cargo, it's better to create only one fleet that goes from central station to ONI4 (for example) and bring 128k cargo back or it's better to create 2 fleets, one that is only mining and the other only for cargo (only 64k cargo). At the end of the day a think it's better only one fleet, thats goes to ONI5 using warp, then mines and come back to central station with the full cargo

i think on this calculation you have to do the math on how long you transport vs what you loose on time mining + transport costs might be cheaper if you have only transport ships in the fleet

if going back and forth takes like 2 hours, how much you could have mined in that time.

crafting fees are different, you pay atlas, what you might mean is solana token accounts

everything is a solana txn 0.00005, except solana token account creation, these are 0.002, but you get the token accounts back as soon you close them, its an automated process, so as soon you interact with any asset it creates token accounts, same goes for fleets and cargo
so each time you transport or mine things, cargo token accounts get created for your fleet these usually get closed when you unload, but when you disband a fleet a message will pop up in the starbase that you have open cargo accounts when you press it you get the solana token/renting account fees back

Warp and Subwarp.

Warp is fast, uses more fuel and is limited by a Ships Warp distance.
Example a Calico MaxHog Fleet can Warp 4 Squares/Au, then stops and has to Cool Down, then it can warp another 4 Au, in our example

Subwarp is Slower, uses less fuel, but gives you a bigger range. Can 1 jump long distances, no cooldowns, takes longer though.

Yes the Radius you see is the limit of that fleets Warp range.
Adding a ship, with a increased Warp range, to a Fleet, increases the Fleets range, example adding a Rainbow Chi to a fleet of Maxhogs increses the Fleets range to 5 Au

Atlas Prime was having issues with with latency/slightly higher network fees due to Solana congestion. Since you need a primary wallet to play, adding the vault/hot wallet uses secondary/in game wallet then you need to load and unload sol/atlas into the vault so works fine as long as you have idk roughly $15 in Sol/Atlas

With the recent update to v3.0.189 there is now a visual glitch where each subsequent star base you click where you have resources, instead of showing only the resources for that one star base, the resources from the previous star base (and all the ones you clicked prior) get added and therefore misrepresents the correct amount. highly relative. one should consider their ship cost, resources, crews and txn fees as factors when they play SAGE. there is a level of fleet composition that is profitable, but still depending on the activitie you'd do in SAGE

as most of the community members play along the way, they do make sure their operations is optimized as much as they to make it profitable

Hi, what exactly are the errors you get?

so basically I press the crafting button and then I wait a bit , on the bottom right of the screen it tells me to check some place on the status of my crafting however I wait around 10 seconds after the message is gone then go there and there is nothing there , refresh , hard refresh , connect and reconnect nothing works , same thing for supplying food for any of my fleets
