hoping someone here can help. i created 3 seperate fleets and i got the verification message that all 3 were created. the third fleet isnt showing up. if i try to create a new fleet i get the error msg something went wrong please try again. the two fleets that are showing up i am not able to refuel, rearm, or add cargo. i have refreshed probably 50 times, i have also closed the browser completely and reopened. i cant get the thrid fleet to show up and it has somehow locked the other two fleets. does anyone know of a way to fix this?

I would recommend refreshing and making sure you’re connected to Quicknode RPC. If it continues to say “something went wrong” then it’s likely the txn went through and the UI hasn’t updated. It’s happened to me a few times too

Well I know it’s hard to understand and part of it is probably my language barrier… But my problem is actually quite simple but rather annoying. If you look at my picture I come as far as listing my wallet’s… But then when it comes to choose which one to import that process is not possible because I cannot choose them. it won't let you save the wallet unprotected on the pc so you need to enter a password - later on when you log in the game you will need to enter this password to unlock the wallet

I run the stuff on PC and use Google Remote Desktop if I need to do anything from phone. I found a way to make it emulate Desktop version of based using brave browser and integrated brave wallet on mobile but phone runs a bit hot, that is my backup if PC goes offline for some reason. As someone who is about a month into this Star Atlas journey and a smaller player (all of my ships are probably worth $1k total), I am getting the sense that what is needed is more small players like me. I will let you know that I came to this space to decide for myself if it was a scam. I wanted to invest a bit in Star Atlas but was concerned about some of the research. Best to form my own opinion. I can say that I am having fun and starting to get into a groove carving out some Atlas mining diamonds and crafting framework. I bought a bunch of iron in bulk so my transit fleet crafts framework through the night and transports diamonds during the day. I have 1 Tip mining the diamonds, which makes a huge difference. I say all this to get to my main point, which is to flag a concern I see and that I do not see much discussion on.....taxes. I am in the U.S. and do not want to end up messing my taxes up because of a game. I started working with Coinledger, but the process necessary to get accurate information is taking a bit more time than anticipated. Does the group have any suggestions on how to best manage taxes and crypto gaming. Also, if the development team could do anything to manage this concern it might help bring in new players or retain new players when they begin to realize the many 1000s of transactions that will need to be tracked for taxes. Namely, not everyone has the same ships in the fleet. How to deliver and supply a fleet that is on assignment. It's simple isn't it? You have a Pearce R8 in your fleet and your problem is solved. So why does that Perce R8 ship? Do R8 have an indirect connection with the base when it can supply the fleet with supplies?

current meta is Mining ships and DataRunner ships have some kind of bonus to their class. Miner does not wast ammo, Data does not waste food. Freight ships are just better for transporting stuff, they don't need additional bonus.

Every other ship specification is meh in current game. Like fighter class are just going shooting at asteroids.

So if you buy the R8 now you are buying it to transport stuff and mine. Later when season 0 comes you might start using it for other stuff like refuel and repair but when that comes price might also skyrocket.

For example before the changed the scanning to make DataRunners not use food/toolkits the Opod was like 500 bucks. And when they changed it became 1000. So if you buy the R8 right now you are kinda speculating that it will go up in value at some point.

Fleet sizes are color coded, so light blue is medium, orange is capital, white is xsmall.

So color indicates if there is at least one vessel in at least one fleet that is of that size in that sector. Larger circle means that the fleets contain larger number of ships.

Yes, they go up, they are capped at 10k per epoch ( epoch reset each day, you can check that in LP exchange tab ).
You get mining xp and a bit of pilot xp for mining.
Pilot xp when warping/subwarping
Crafting xp when you craft stuff
Data Running xp when you scan ( successful scans give better xp that failed ones )

currently the xp is just for grinding, future releases will have mechanics that will give you access to licenses and council rank boost that will probably depend on the xp you gather in the current version of the game

Nice, have you made any calculations on what actions you want to perform in based prior to your purchase.
Current meta you need a good mining, transport and crew if you want to be productive on the SB upgrades. Also at least one good scanning fleet for maxing the datarunning xp and a bit more research if you are looking to specialize in scanning ( a bit different than last version )

I goto MUDD CSS click on my inventory. Click the left box with the commodity. Put the amount in "availible in starbase" amd click ecport to wallet. It goes gray for a bit then comes back white but nothing changes. AMount listed in wallet and starbase stay the same.

i scanned and the site spawned those numbers but in the game said nothing

when scanning you will get either of the two:

1. Scan failure - means the scan failed and you did not get anything
2. Scan success - the scan succeeded and you get sdus
   In both cases the game will return the density of the sector in %

The SDU density of the sector determines your chance to get an SDU and the maximum amount of SDUs that you can get from a single sector.

Example:
If you are on a 5% density sector you have a 5% chance to make a successful scan. Also 5% (0.05) * 1000 = 50, meaning your fleet can get a maximum of 50 SDUs from that sector.

If you are scanning with 40 Airbikes ( each airbike can hit 1sdu per scan, for a total of 40 for the whole fleet) and your scan is successful you will get 40 SDUs and the sector density will drop with 4% changing the 5% sector to 1% which will regenerate back to 5% over time*

If you scan with 60 Airbikes ( 60 SDUs per scan ) you will get only 50 sdus and the sector density will drop top 0

*there is also the "cosmic currents" waves that will either increase or decrease the sector density over time

since the transactions are internal to SA, i suspect the only viable solution would be if the SA marketplace enables me to download my transaction log, like any other exchange would.

the information of what happens inside the MP is not exposed to external solutions so they wouldn't be able to help with the problem i just described

So i guess if by december there is no solution for that, i will have to sell off before the next tax year, because i don't want to spend so much time on trying to remember what transactions i did and then also hope that the tax authorities will accept this declaration with no official evidence from the game.

don't get me wrong, I am just sharing that I have hit this because of issues with OpenGL support on my system and I have two cases:

1. Old Windows 7 does not allow me to install the newest versions of the browsers and the old ones seems to have issues rendering the background
2. My virtual machines have limited graphics capabilities because of virtualization, even a super old physcal pc should be able to handle those with ease.

Maybe check if browser is latest version first, maybe try with a different browser. Check if gpu drivers are up to date ( even the integrated ones )

Also you can check if the browsers supports WebGL 2, I think that is what is needed for Sage. Here is an example of my computer that runs based without any issues ( I used an online site to check, seems alright to me but open at your own risk ):

How much in quantity approximately? According to my observations xSmal transporters are not that bad at mining right now, because they tend to fill up their cargo slower - which actually results in less tx costs. Mining something with higher hardness might reduce that even further. xxSmalls on the other hand could be used for crafting - also good because you can compound or buy large quantity of raw materials and do a single craft per day also reducing the tx costs.

Upgrading SB might not be that profitable for small players right now. Still depends on your fleet composition and quantity of ship that you have
