I see people making fleets of e.g. airbikes and pierce X6...? how would a fleet behave then? Share fuel? What about subwarp speed? or scanning cooldown timer?

It honestly depends on what you want to specialize in. A lot of people find opportunities in the marketplace and adjust their strategy. Or you can stick to a single strategy and specialize in that.

Example: Focusing on SDUs, Focusing on upcoming combat, etc.

That's part of the beauty of Star Atlas, everything is kind of what you make of it. That also means it can be more complicated which I can understand sucks sometimes. haha

Labs and faction fleet are going away soon with the release of Starbased ( rumored to be released this month )

Most of the game mechanics of Labs will remain in Starbased. So now is a good time to go checkout labs and prepare for the release of Starbased.

Good strategy with 20x xxSmall ships is to separate them into two fleets and scan for SDUs with them. Doing this manually takes a lot of time and it could be a bit frustrating, however there are automation tools provided by the community that you can use for this strategy.

Yes, it does completely hinge on a 100% risk zone. Without fun destruction to balance the in game economy you get inflation. If you try and create sinks without competition it will fail. And no, inflation is not good for stimulating economies, in 0 cases. It devalues the purchasing power 100% of the time. Without risk there is no reward. Life is risk, as should a section of a game that you own the asset. Without risk you will not get nearly as excited, because loss brings competitive nature. Don't go there if you don't want risk, but it MUST be there. Especially in a web3 game.

Also it is a space game, everyone is buying ships, and it does not seem the pvp section of the game is even talked about, more about fps shooting, which is fine as a part of the game, but how about the ship pvp, this is what ppl want, and ppl want pvp with loss, and we want player built assets, not seeded items. Ship pvp, and 100% risk zone should be a top priority, not a long long ways away.

starbased is a sink we can all see it to buy time, ok, but you need to get to the 100% risk/reward zone asap for fun purposes, and because you need that destruction to balance the ingame inflation, sooner rather then later

another those ppl saying oh whales will own everything. whales won't spend their time mining if they want to pvp, so guess what, all you little guys will be selling your stuff to them making you the money. And i'm a little guy. Also that fact that your crew of friends executed a proper fight or trap, and having half of that ship or fleets assets being dropped for you to loot not only gets your adrenaline going for fear of loosing your ship, but also euphoria on a successful job well done. This allows for 50% of the destroyed asset to go to the player, and 50% of the destroyed asset to be burned.

this creates great bonds, with your crew, and can create life long lasting friendships, i know. It also can create some of the most fun times ever playing a game, cause not only was your plan and skill rewarded in the fun of the battle, but also the loot that was gained from it.

it gives people hope, that maybe if they are good, they can make something. Or give hope to those who are risk adverse saying well if i spend time at it, i can achieve it

my 2cents on PVP is that CoD and World of <Tanks/WarShips/WarPlanes> seem have their place despite not having a complete loss upon death/destruction.

Point being, having minigames that allow this fast turnaround can be quite fun and addicting, and throw in staking/odds and tournaments you get a huge sink if you tax it.

But I'd agree that there is a need for a high risk playing area, like RuneScape's wild, where you have a huge risk of losing things if you participate in PVP in designated zones. And that had/has a huge draw among competitive people-- but I believe it polarized it where you'd only want to go if you were good, so it became a thing where pros would go and otherwise you'd avoid it in general. But you could make off like a bandit if you nailed the meta better than the other guy (or just got plain lucky and critted at the right time). It's a place to test your wit, cunning, team skills, where there are no limitations on what you can do. You adapt or get hosed. Ship owner be-aware or else. It's a massive draw to those that like high stakes and having real money, training, and preparation on the line can be a draw like no other. And a huge driver of economy as ships need to be replaced and materials/components crafted to build them.

And tyger there is a big difference between a game were you have no looses or consequences on death, compaired to a game were you have 100% loss or consequences. It gives you an entire different kind of feeling playing a game like that. So sorry, but had to speak my mind. In summary, you need 100% risk/reward zone to create fun destruction to balance the ingame economy, with 50/50 loot being dropped and burned. You need to have 100% player built assets of everything, not seeded assets, sooner the better as the longer it takes the more discouraged people will get. You need skill based ship pvp to cause fun destruction, not forced sinks to progress. Why is poker so popular, because it is super fun, or because you had fun, but have a chance and winning some cash, or a dream of winning a tourney. Do not dismiss 100% risk.

Do you use Phantom or Solflare? Phantom ads by default, Solflare should only add priority fees if you have the option for priority fees turned on in the interface.

Yeah, the option in game can actually reduce default priority fees that phantom applies. I think the game has a better logic choosing the priority fee depending on network usage. Still - this is dynamic... so sometime you might get a higher fee. I am not exactly sure how to test if it works that way, I guess I have to measure SOL network congestion when I perform the action to know for sure.

So far I think it works like that depending on the wallet you use:

1. Priority fee disabled with Solflare - you will most likely get the 0.00005 as Solflare rarely set priority fees.
2. Priority fee disabled with Phantom - you will most likely get the dynamic priority fee set by Phantom depending on network conditions.
3. Priority fee enabled with Solflare or Phantom - you will get the dynamic priority fees optimized by game devs depending on network conditions.

Priority fees option should not affect the token rent deposit ( when you create fleets or cargo tokens ).

No info on how it is supposed to behave in combination with Atlas Prime enabled - most players disable that because it affects rent deposits so I dount anyone uses it. ( note to self - create a test case to see how it behaves as it will most likely affect new players which might enable it due to UI suggestion wiht addition to Prio fees option turned on by default )

Ship tiers have different scan results. so XXS ships can get 1 SDU per scan. Fleets can get max 10 per scan (Unless you hit a rare spot where you can get up to 100 every now and then)

How to calculate how much fuel it will take me 10 Max Warp Distance (AU) if the ship is burning 320 Fuel/AU Warped. Is there any table for this on all ships? Please help me!

If the ship is burning 320 fuel per AU it will burn 320 for each sector it travels in a straight line. So 320fuel x 10 sectors should be 3200 fuel total.
You can use Eveeye Galia map to measure distances between stations that are not in a straight line and multiply the value with the Fuel/AU Warped value:

Keep in mind that Max warp distance is the max distance you can do in one single warp. Once you do a warp you have a warp cooldown - after you wait it you can do another one provided that you have enough fuel to do so.
