cargo token accounts get created for your fleet these usually get closed when you unload, but when you disband a fleet a message will pop up in the starbase that you have open cargo accounts when you press it you get the solana token/renting account fees back

The version that was released for the stress-test had the feature to have the ships from SAGE available in Showroom. However that was reverted to the stable version before the stress test that didn't have this feature implemented ( although the release notes say it should be working: #🩹┃patch-notes message )

It will be probably fixed in the next release of Showroom and it should stay as feature as long as Showroom does not have any impact on the economy of the game. At least this is what I assume, since it was stated in the release notes that it should work like that.

Last time I have had this issue, I have turned off Phantom wallet extension (as I'm using SolFlare) and after refresh it worked.

I don't know if you aware or if I'm right but there's a 2 minute cooldown time besides the (not top of) the scanner's cooldown to wait between two scans.
I just heard it but it worked for me so far. I mean it was more likely to get SDUs on the same (50% probability) sector.

I see plenty of times of high percentages repeatedly finding nothing, I call it "spinning its wheels", I think its a case of too many fleets scanning and only a limited number of SDUs to get divided up for everyone, every 2 minutes.
I know they can increase or decrease the total amount of SDUs to be found, but have to weigh up and balance the impact on the economy.

Warp distance is taken from the best ship in the fleet
SubWarp speed is taken from worst/slowest ship in the fleet

Hello everyone. My understanding is that if I created my character in PLAY and I want to use it in Labs I need to export and import, but I'm not quite sure how to do that. My ships are all in my wallet (not in faction fleet anymore) but I still can't import them to the CSS. Any ideas on what I might be missing?

sage is a separated account at the moment, so if you want to import ships from the faction fleet you would need to unstake these. then when they in your wallet you deposite them via the deposit/withdraw ships menu on the css of your faction in sage

does it support solana? probably sage with an hardware wallet isnt very comfortable, since the big amount of txn most people i know use auto-approve wallets like solflare. as soon we get a good account system with permissions it maybe gets easier to setup sage with hardware wallets.

also star atlas only supports ledger as far i know on the hardware wallets, you would need to connect that wallet to another wallet ui like phantom or solflare

The reason why I ask is that I am trying to build a fleet that aligns with my race strengths. I want to invest more but I am struggling to justify buying a ship that does not offer the same alignment as my race strengths where only one manufacturer is represented. For instance, Opal Rayfam, why hasn't there been a release of all manufacturers of that same ship size and role so we can choose from the selection available to suit our race?

In the marketplace, there are a tonne of ships with no equivalent manufacturing competitors which represent all races. Essentially, we have to build a fleet with what's available and its not optimal for players to spend on a budget.

A suggestion would be to pad out the existing marketplace with all manufacturers of similar ships so we have a better choice to build our fleeets, plus all future releases of ships should only be done once every manufacturer is represented.

Please put it to the team for some feedback, I can't be the only one thinking about this? Cheers!

As to your remarks concerning release of ships: the team is releasing them slowly over time. Though not all specs + size combinations will become available for all manufacturers, a great many of them will.

If you want a combination that does not yet exist, you’ll simply going to have to have patience 😅

Maybe make sure that the graphics card is running properly. I once had a similar issue because the game was running on the integrated card instead of the dedicated one for some reason.

I know my expectations are not in line with the plan, that's why I feel obliged to say something. It's certainly not a dig, more of an observation that the current plans may need to change to consider those on a budget trying to optimise and build a cohesive fleet in line with their race's strengths.

Essentially, what I am suggesting is to release ships of the same size and role from each of the races key manufacturers in one go (so a minimum of 3 ships so each race is catered for). I don't have loads of money to spare so I don't want to own ships that are not aligned to my race, but I feel like I have to buy what's available to play SAGE and participatein the Star Atlas Eco System. If this is the way of things and the marketplace and future ship releases does not become balanced for race choice, at the end of this, our fleets will comprise of ships from different manufacturers that are not optimal to our race strengths. We're then going to have to Trade these ships for manufacturers that are aligned with our race and continue to wait for when the team decides to release ships in tbeir own time.

I think we're at the point of maturing the release of ships and filling in the blanks of the marketplace with ships that offer utility for all races. As an example, why would a MUD or ONI buy a VSUS Opod if its an USTUR specialty? The answer is because it's the only one available, my suggestion will offer all races the ability to own a medium data runner aligned with their race if the marketplace is given the opportunity to mature and balance itself out and future ship releases are done so to consider all races.

I'm a right first time kinda person, changing things up will allow us to make better decision when forming our fleet and add an extra depth and dynamic to the marketplace.

Hello! Apologies for the late reply - I think this is a really interesting topic, so I wanted to jump in.

First, a few points of clarification (from my understanding, at least).

• A species can belong to any faction.
• ONI, MUD, and Ustur are factions, not species. Though, I think Ustur may also be the name of the species.
• Ship manufacturers are aligned with factions.

I don't think there are any particular benefits to using a ship manufactured by your faction. However, I suspect we'll see ship manufacturers only offer "premium" models to their own faction and/or those that have demonstrated great loyalty. Perhaps we'll see exceptions here for Ustur - it'd make sense for them to be able to interface more efficiently with a ship that they built.

Regarding ship classes and specialties, I would not expect them to be available from all manufacturers. Each manufacturer has their own strengths, and will build ships towards those strengths. If a manufacturer is specialized in creating ballistic weaponry, they've got the tech, knowledge, and experience in that specialization. But they may not build great scanning systems.

yes mission 3 is still ongoing, and redeeming the fragments probably doesnt start before the end of mission 4
