Is this your first time connecting on a mobile. The reason is that you have to use the built-in browser of the wallet to connect. You can not do it with external browsers.

so each time you transport or mine things, cargo token accounts get created for your fleet these usually get closed when you unload, but when you disband a fleet a message will pop up in the starbase that you have open cargo accounts when you press it you get the solana token/renting account fees back

everything is a solana txn 0.000005, expect solana token account creation, these are 0.02, but you get the token accounts back as soon you close them, its an automated process, so as soon you interact with any asset it creates token accounts, same goes for fleets and cargo

The xxs and xs are better at SDU scanning not mining. The reason is that you can create an optimal "Scanning Fleet" very cheaply. 10 xxs ships are the cheapest fleet and they max out a single SDU scan hit.

Other than Armstron mining ships, most fighter are good for mining currently. Until the spec change with new iteration of Sage as game evolves.

Current logic is that fighters break up asteroids using ammo. Then harvest the ore they are mining. The Armstrong mining ships do not use Ammo. They drill to mine ore. Hence more efficient. Trasposrt and cargo ships are best at hauling resources from one location to other.

I have 4 pierce X5 ships that I have had staked in faction fleet for over a year. I brought them into sage labs to see how it works. It looks like a fleet this small can't come out ahead because the costs of subwarp, mining and crafting are higher than what I can sell crafted items for. Is that correct?

It depends on how you operate your small fleet. If you try to go for crafting a maxhog for example you gotta at least have the SDUs for the recipe.

If you scan for the SDUs and get enough you can buy the rest of the ingredients on the market, then craft the ship and sell on profit or keep the Maxhog for your fleet.

If you sell the SDUs for the Maxhog instead of crafting it - you can buy a few xxSmall ships for the profit and expand your fleet.

You also have the option to just mine for Hydrogen on the CSS and sell it directly on the Market - I think this is still more profitable than staking in Faction fleet, but I haven't ran the numbers for your exact fleet.

If I were you - I would first scan for enough SDUs to buy 2 xxSmall ships - this would bring you to the ideal 10 base for a scanning fleet and then keep expanding from there.

What’s your goal

Things change based on what is happening in the game and your plans and strategy. Therefore the answer can be different for different people. The size of your ships and fleet have a major influence on your strategy.

If your fleets contian xxs and xs ships you can be very successful scanning SDU rather than mining. For small and medium size you can focus on mining.

Almost all resources can be sold. Therefore focus on what works for you and then mine, craft and sell.

Hydrogen is easiest to mine and then craft fuel. Iron and Copper are harder to mine but useful in creating Ammo to Toolkits that have good liquidity from sale perspective. Carbon is used in crafting of many components. Hence always good to have.

Hence things change as you play and get the feel of the game.

I have to keep changing my focus on what to mine and craft every day.

Just choose one goal for the day and then spend the day doing that. Next day choose something else. It is fun that way. 🙂

GM. Yeah, seems like you currently have Atlas Prime on if it is charging you in Atlas where you have about 15% premium on the fees. Also there is kind of a "rent" when mining that should be refunded when you unload the cargo if I am not mistaken. I had a spreadsheet with it somewhere but can't find it right now.

1. Turn off Atlas prime in Sage Labs - that way all of your transactions and rents will be charged in Solana ( Only Crafting and Self Destruct will be in Atlas )
2. Make a whole mining cycle - Load ammo, fuel and food -> Undock -> Start Mining -> Stop Mining -> Dock -> Unload Cargo
3. Write down all of the transaction costs in Solana for the whole operation. There should be a refund somewhere that you can substract from the costs.
4. Write down the fuel, ammo and food consumption for your fleet for the whole operation and the amount of Hydro you are getting from it. Keep in mind you will need to go only with the minimal amount of food required to full your cargo to min/max on mining.

You should end up with some transaction costs in Solana and a bit of food, fuel and ammo costs in Atlas. Substract these from the profit you get when selling the hydro on the market to get your actual returns. Keep in mind that you might want to pile up some Hydro and then sell it on the market in one large batch to reduce transaction fees on the market too.

I think that daily you get about 25 atlas with your fleet in SCORE, and in one mining cycle in Labs you get about 2 Atlas selling the hydro. One mining cycle for your fleet is about 20 min. If you automate it with Lab Assistant so it mines non-stop on the CSS it is about 6 atlas per hour/144 per day.

It definitely helps to have this calculated in a spreadsheet. For example, I know for my fleet, if I want to craft Framework, it is more profitable to do it with iron instead of steel. I get about 2.42 return on atlas on iron instead of .94 on steel based on current market prices if I were to sell.

There is not code that is guarenteed safe. You have to use it at your own risk. TamperMonkey is a legit program but any thing can be exploited. That said a number of mods for SA use Tampermonkey and there has not been any issue reported.

That one is from SLY. It was demoed in one of the brews. Works reasonably well and a number of people here use it. The code looks ok and it is open source. However the disclaimer still applies

I suggest try it with some ships and then make your decision.

• Increase ATLAS sinks in SAGE Labs
• Curb asset emissions in SAGE Labs

everything is a solana txn 0.000005, expect solana token account creation, these are 0.02, but you get the token accounts back as soon you close them, its an automated process, so as soon you interact with any asset it creates token accounts, same goes for fleets and cargo

so each time you transport or mine things, cargo token accounts get created for your fleet these usually get closed when you unload, but when you disband a fleet a message will pop up in the starbase that you have open cargo accounts when you press it you get the solana token/renting account fees back

Hi guys, I'm just starting the game Sage Labs and for some reason, every time I want to do anything at all (e.g. refuel, rearm, supply cargo), I have to pay 0.00201 SOL + Network Fee of 0.00003 SOL. Is this normal? When I watched tutorials, it doesnt happen to them

everything is a solana txn 0.000005, expect solana token account creation, these are 0.02, but you get the token accounts back as soon you close them, its an automated process, so as soon you interact with any asset it creates token accounts, same goes for fleets and cargo

so each time you transport or mine things, cargo token accounts get created for your fleet these usually get closed when you unload, but when you disband a fleet a message will pop up in the starbase that you have open cargo accounts when you press it you get the solana token/renting account fees back

I am so sorry still yes, it will tell you how long before you start

Then you can use timers to keep track for efficiency. Some resources take longer to mine then others depending on the recourse and location

The experience hasn't been very enjoyable thus far playing labs. Seems like it's just draining my Atlas. That is honest feedback. I unstaked my ships to play and wish now I just kept them in faction fleet earning atlas. I guess I need to learn more before I start. Thanks for the manual.

that uses atlas to create solana token accounts

and you get sol back when these close, so it feels like you draining atlas all the time

also the new UI coming out later today

Maybe I always just get enough food for the process, still I need to double check

I think it's because I try to have the minimum amount of food in my cargo spece to have more space for the ore 🙂

It feels a bit overwhelming for us all in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy and enjoyable

Just before you click initiate mining it will tell you how long before cargo is full and how much ammo and food it takes, so you can plan it

it's strange,...I haven't checked it for the ammo yet but I'm almost certain that I don't lose any food even if my cargo is full
