There are two versions of the game today, the Showroom and SAGE.

The Showroom is the first module of the Star Atlas metaverse, where for the moment, you can view your ships, pilot all ships and compete in timed races
It is currently private access, which means you will need a game key to play. To get a key, you will have to stake ANY ship in Faction Fleet for 7 days. Once the 7 days are up, you will see your game code in your play.staratlas.com profile.
Redeem it at the Epic Games Store and you're done. You can check more info here #archived-showroom-help

I think it’s 2.47 but there isn’t anything formal on that. You can kind of get an idea on that stuff with the leaked leeks data for Slabs. Hardpoints and turrets are a 2:1 ratio other stats have different multipliers

I asked why the multiplication factor was changed because of the factor 2.71 (Euler's Number) is a natural logarithmic constant that would promote a "greater overall distance" between ship classes based on a logarithmic ratio. This would balance the power of the larger ships with a much smaller supply compared to the myriad of smaller ships. In addition, the difference in the original price of the ships would make much more sense.

Let's go to an example:
2.71^9 = 7.883 overall distance between class xx-small and titan (2.71x factor)
2.42^9 = 2.846 overall distance between class xx-small and titan (2.42x factor)

With regard to firepower the situation is even worse (2:1). According to the firepower list on the Aephia website, 544 Pearce x4 ships (xx-small class!) have firepower comparable to the Pearce T1 which is a titan class (which still for sale).

Let's go to another example:
2^9 = 512 firepower distance between an xx-small class weapon and titan weapon (2x factor)

The firepower of 544 xx-small ships ($13.6k) being comparable to the firepower of a $5M titan sounds absurd to me.

2 - We've already updated the scaling exponent for Sage labs to be 3.09x between classes. That 3.09x does not apply to weapons damage numbers that are still 2x until further notice with Combat playtesting/development. The scaling exponents will continue to be subject to change as we hone in on the correct balance for the game systems and economy.

Hey guys I have 2 questions about scanning SDUs. Let's see if anyone knows the answers.

1. I know xxs can find 1 sdu each, and xs can find 2. But idk if its +1 or x2 as you go up. Meaning if you have a small ship would it scan 3 or 4 SDUs?

2. I know the range and chance to find a SDU with the limitations are the same for all ships with the only variables being the scanning efficiency reduces the cooldown time for scanning. So if you have let's say 2 ships of the same type (fighter, racer, doesn't matter) but of different manufacturers, and one had a bonus of 6 and the other of 2, would the ship with the bonus of 6 scan 3 times faster? I don't think it would be that big of a difference, but the manufacturer stats would be 3 times higher so idk

that should give you the right wallet

There's a 3d showroom and some racing on epic game store but you need a code to unlock it. You can get a code by buying and staking any ship for a bit, I think it's a week. Or maybe someone around will throw you a code. Sage Labs is supposed to come out sometime in the near future and is a mining and crafting web game.
