Hello all. Brand new. Can someone clarify what I’m possibly doing wrong to connect my wallet to star atlas. When I’m at the screen to select a supported wallet, I then click Solflare wallet and when it send me there I press “access” on my Solflare wallet. After It brings me into my Solflare wallet with no other options on what to do to connect back to cloud atlas site. Sorry if vague info, would appreciate some help

Hello. New to Star Atlas. Not sure how much I want to invest (time+NFTs+crypto) into SA. I want to see how I like SCORE. I'm having a hard time finding out what I need minimally to start when SCORE is released. Can someone point me to the write channel? Also I think I made a mistake. there is an ~0.024 sol cost to open a new trading pair on serum. So your first transaction will have that higher fee, all future fees will just be gas of like 0.000000005

When it's marketed as a "game" I don't see the average gamer ever getting involved in this ecosystem. They will never read a whitepaper and will want to just dive in, have fun, and make money. So far that does not seem possible.

Not sure if you managed to do this or not, but if you're having the same issue I was, you just need to wait. Are you on the Swap tab, and instead of showing the ATLAS price, it's just spinning? If so, then you just need to wait. For some reason it can take a LONG time to pull the ATLAS price.

If this isn't the issue, then please describe your issue in more detail and maybe someone can help

Yes, it's normal, and you have to pay it for every new item you purchase 😦

The good news is that you only pay it once per item, not once/purchase. So, once you've bought some fuel, you won't pay that SOL charge again when buying fuel. But you will pay it when you buy ammo for the first time.

Likewise, if you buy a new ship, you'll have to pay that charge. But if you're buying more of the same ship, you won't.

I guess most of you would consider me a boomer, though I am not quite that old. I did see the first Star wars in the cinema when I was a child though...so that gives you an idea. I just love the concept and bought some basic ships today. Trying to figure out how to get set up...can anyone point me to a step by step guide?

uff I am getting confuse by the instructions on that link. In some places it says I need do not need to supply the ships as that can be doe from the Atlas earned and there is no need to buy more Atlas. IN other places it says that I have to stock up the ships. I am starting to wonder if this is going to be expensive and complicated

HI All. A question. Lets say I buy a ship today. say the most basic one at $20. and I buy it in ATLAS is at 0.11. Then, If Atlas foes up to say 0.22, the ship stays at $20? (and my ship is worth half what it was in ATLAS? Or the atlas value stays the same and the USD price goes up to $40? Trying to figure it out ATLASprice movement to the upside means I lose money on the ships. I bought three models today, 9 ships total.

I don't see a response but am interested to hear what the response is from someone more knowledgeable. The ship will earn more than it's worth so the value is somewhat irrelevant but I'm sure it will increase in value. Will the ship stake forever or will it stop at some point?

I want to build a small rescue mission fleet with a Calico Evac at the centre, supported by a dozen or so small craft, Px4s, Px5s and Opal Jets to provide cover fire and keep the area clear. to join larger rescue missions with bigger fire power or to go on smaller rescue missions alone. Total mercenaries...rescues for ATLAS 😆

but to do it, I want to see when is the best time to buy the Calico, when the ATLAS price is high (and therefore fewer atlas to the USD) or when Atlas is low.
